And everything is cooked fresh and to order... Not much in ambience lol but really we could've shared a plate cause it's huge portions... (I love salt on my catfish so bring your own, they don't have any lol) Very friendly too! Order up at the counter

They said they didn't but I can place an order over the phone in which the representative helped me since it was my first time ordering with them. I end up getting the fish and chicken combo platter. I got a fried catfish and chicken tenders and it also comes with fries and white bread. The chicken tenders was three juicy seasoned pieces and the catfish was really good. I drizzled some hot sauce over the catfish and ketchup for my fries and honey mustard for my chicken tenders before I left. They showed me my platter and they asked if I wanted seasoning and I said yes and I would definitely recommend adding seasoning on top of the food because it gets it so much flavor. I also ordered the red velvet cake which I'm not gonna lie. It was not good at all it tasted grainy and it was just not what I was expecting. I was expecting like a moist cake and it was not giving that was very disappointing. The place seems new if I'm not mistaken there were really nobody sitting down eating. Everybody was just waiting to take their meal to go which was a good sign, but I will definitely check them out again for their other fried fish and also they have fried oysters which I've never never had fried oysters before so I'll go back to check them out for that but definitely won't be getting no more cake from there.

This is a solid spot for patrons seeking a limited menu with a chill vibe. It is important to note…read morethey have a rotating, seasonal menu, which also means you cannot locate their present menu online nor can you rely on that to decide what you'll have when you're there. I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!

Came here for dinner for our second night in Covington. Not too busy for a Friday night, we were…read moreable to walk in and quickly be sat. For drinks we ordered the cloud atlas (off menu) and a vodka gimlet, gimlet was good but a little off balance. Complimentary corn bread was pretty tiny and a bit dry. For entree we ordered the crab cakes and shrimp and grits, both very tasty and the stars of the night. Highly recommend. We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!
