Good vibes and wonderful staff, if you're a fan of The Vampire Diaries it feels pretty surreal being in there lol the menu is GREAT almost everything sounded so good i wanted it all, ended up getting the Buffalo Fried Chicken Mac & Cheese and it was to die for!

My boyfriend and I got the bacon cheeseburger and winder fries! His mom got the Buffalo sliders and his stepdad got the mystic patty melt

We came to this place because the vampire diaries was filmed here on the outside and we wanted to eat here while visiting Georgia. I got a mystic grill cup that had an Elena quote on it, filled with a mango passionfruit slushie which was good. It was $15 dollars which was reasonable because you get to keep the glass and enjoy the drink inside. I ended up coming here twice, so the first time I got the Mystic patty melt which was good, and the second time I got the club sandwich, which was also good. Food was reasonably priced. We also got 2 slices of Damon's Chocolate Cake and the cake was delicious and was definitely one of the best cakes I've had, but the price was pretty extreme for the size of cake given. It was $13 which is definitely pricy for a little piece of cake. The service was average, and inside the place was nice, and they even had a whole wall of autographed pictures of actors both from the show and other famous movies/tv shows which was fun to look at. Very fun place located right in the town square!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. My only concern is the price--it's already on the high side, and they also charge a 3% fee for using a credit card, plus an additional 10% service charge. As a consumer, I find those extra fees excessive, especially since many people use credit cards. Other than that, I have no complaints and would still recommend the restaurant. If you want to save a little, I suggest paying with cash or a debit card.

Came here for lunch with coworkers and had no idea this place was so rich in history! The food was delicious, service top tier and great location! I had the salmon, wild rice with cranberries and broccoli. 10/10 recommend this cute restaurant in Covington. The owner is absolutely amazing and you can tell she is passionate about what she offers!

Had the clocktower burger, winder fries (they are unique, kinda similar to wedges but more slim) and the turtle cheesecake... will definitely be returning as it was all amazing and was exactly what I had in mind in my search of a good burger. I sat at the bar and the bartender suggested the cheesecake which I have no regrets about ordering, but I was extremely full after eating everything. Exceeded expectations! Inside has a warm ambiance and the bar had a good selection to choose from.

Every time I come to Covington, I plan to stop here but my plans end up changing. Luckily, I finally got to stop in and try their dinner menu. It was busy but we were seated right away and our server, Rico, was great, very upbeat and attentive. He shared fun facts about the filming of movies and shows in and around Covington and we got some Vampire Diaries information and facts, which as a fan of the show and spinoffs, I loved. I had the Blackened Shrimp Pasta and my husband had the Apple Cider Salmon. Both were AMAZING!

Nothing bad to say here. Everything nice. Food- Sweet Tea fried chicken breast with Yukon mashed potatoes ( so damn yummy and sautéed green beans. Beans were barely warm but still good. Service was excellent by Holly at bar. Glass of house Chardonnay at $7 is a bargain. Lovely place, not too loud with pleasant surroundings and staff.

As a Vampire Diaries fan, visiting this place was a dream come true! We tried the grilled cheese and chicken sliders which were absolutely delicious, and the jam added a unique flavorful twist. It was so cool to see the cast's bar stools, lounge chairs, and photos of the many famous people who have visited the restaurant. Our waiter was excellent--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the restaurant and the surrounding area. I highly recommend stopping by!

Everything was fantastic! The service was the best! The food was good. Of course, I loved being in an actual TV set where one of my favorite shows was filmed. The atmosphere was amazing! If you ever visit Covington, please make this restaurant a must!

What a cute place! It's a great stop! Prices were great too! The server was fantastic. Her name was Hailey, she was able to answer all our questions and was super friendly too! Lastly, the food. It was very good. We had 2 of the salads which were great portion sizes and our friend had a burger and was very pleased w it. When we are in the area we would be happy to stop by again, between the food, the service, and the location it was a great place for lunch.

We haven't been to the Mystic Grill in forever but oh it was so cozy for the holidays! We love coming here when in Covington Square as it holds so much nostalgia. We sat on the roof which was nice and quiet. The service was quick and the waitress was super nice. The first time the food came out it was cold, but she was super quick to get it warm for us. We got the blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was pretty flavorful, I would totally get again! The fries were also delicious. We did get two drinks and they were just alright. Would not recommend their cocktails. Overall Mystic Grill holds a special place in our hearts and we love visiting during the holidays!

Very good food. I had the sweet tea fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy. We also tried the pimento cheese appetizer, which was quite good. We chose to have it served warm with the crackers. It is some serious comfort food served basically on a movie set. I never watched Vampire Diaries, but I know what a big deal it is for people who visit here. It is always busy and there is always a wait (at least on the weekends). We tried to go twice, and finally the third time we tried was a charm. It was only about 40 minutes towards the end of the night. Service is friendly and decor is lovely. Food was very good.

I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!

For drinks we ordered the cloud atlas (off menu) and a vodka gimlet, gimlet was good but a little off balance. Complimentary corn bread was pretty tiny and a bit dry. We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!

This is actually our second time meeting our friend here. First, the service was great from the young woman who greeted us to our server, Reagan J. Reagan was personable, efficient and had a great sense of humor. Second, the bread was fresh tasting and so were the salads with ranch dressing. All three entrees looked great, but only one tasted as good as it looked. Our friends always orders the chopped steak topped with mushrooms and onions, along with a baked potato with toppings. He said it was good as always. I ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes and brown gravy on the side. The pork chops were juicy and had a good flavor, but they had some fat on the ends that should have been cut off. Also, the texture of the meat was off. The mashed potatoes tasted good, but they come with a large pool of melted butter on top. I love butter, but it was too much. I would not order this entree again. The other entree was a 20 oz Outlaw Ribeye with asparagus. It looked like it would be delicious, BUT, it was chewy, undercooked (ordered medium rare and it boarded on rare) and over-seasoned. The asparagus was just okay. My husband rarely leaves ribeye and asparagus on his plate, but this time he did not finish his meal. He would not order that again. The Trinity Oaks Pinot noir wine, seasonal Sam Adams and Michelob drafts were tasty. The ambiance is casual and the noise level is medium (not too loud). Based on this total experience, we will choose somewhere else to meet up with our friend the next time.
