I've been going to LA Nails for ~5 years now and always thought it was fine. HOWEVER, since ownership changed this fall, I've noticed some amazing differences. 1. My polish doesn't lift or chip anymore. I usually try to go every 3 weeks, but am lazy and it commonly goes 4 weeks. No lifting and no (or very minor) chipping. I'm only ever embarrassed about new nail growth, which is on my lazy self. 2. My nails are still strong despite gel manicures. It used to burn when my old manicure was removed, now it's nothing - feels amazing! The staff is professional, kind, and fun. Would recommend! read more

We got pedicures here and it was your average nail salon and nothing special. It was clean and they moved people right along. I did get my lip waxed and I noticed they did not clean the area before waxing. That seem to have lead to a couple of breakouts but nothing major. That being said I think they need to clean there area you are waxing to prep the area. read more

This place majorly screwed my daughter using the fact no parents were in the store with the girls. She got gel polish painted in her toes. ( mind you she did not have gel on that needed to be removed ) they charged her $27. Then she got acrylic tips which they charged her $50 for ( ok not bad ) then they did every add on as possible to the bill. Added $8 for length and they are not extra long. $5 for shaping $8 for French tip and an additional charge of $3 that I have no idea what it is for. All I know is these are not $75 nails! read more

Went here as a first time customer yesterday and will never go back! Got a pedicure that was $50. They told me that my grandson could sit in the chair next to mine (he is 5 years old), the girl asked me if I wanted a pedi for him and that it was ONLY $25, I told her no. There were no other customers except for me, my daughter and friend. We were all getting pedi's. When i said that I wanted gel polish she said ok and got the polish, then said halfway through the pedi that it was a $15 upcharge for gel. I told her nevermind. I know there is an upcharge at my usual salon but it is $5 not $15. I don't think the pedi was worth anywhere near $50 since didn't even take the calluses off. When I went to pay they charged me $65. There a $5 charge added for removing the existing gel polish and $10 for them putting water in the pedi bowl that my grandson sat at, he got no services at all, they just filled the bowl with water. I am outraged and won't ever go there again. read more

The folks at LA nails are great! Extremely kind and my nails have never looked so great. While I'm more traditional in my color choices, I've seen them do some great designs on others. The pedicures are so relaxing and the manicures actually last! Little ones love being pampered in the little stuffed animal chairs...so cute. I use them for eyebrow waxing as well. I'd recommend them to anyone (and I do). read more

Use to be my go-to. But ever since they remodeled the service has not been great. Estimated wait times aren't what they say they are (add at least 30 minutes). Most aggravating part is seeing employees ignore you sitting there for over 20 minutes and go straight into the back after their current customer leaves. (Note it wasn't busy at the time) read more

I went to La Nails & Spa today for a fill dip manicure. I had a technician who clearly was annoyed to be taking care of me, and barely spoke two words the entire night. When I went up to pay I was charged $30 on top of a the dip manicure price, for shaping my nails, a design, and nail length. My nails kind you, are my own, and I have grown them out two inches over the last six months so I don't need fake acrylics. I already had them almond shaped as well, as the technician could see, and my design was simply not painting the whole nail on 4 fingers, but putting a tip. I asked the technician when she tried to charge me how she was charging me for the length on my own nails and her very blunt and non-emotional response was, " we still charge you" even if it's not their fake acrylics. I would never recommend this place for a $58 manicure to anyone and will never return. I should've asked for a refund. read more

I used to come here frequently, but after my lacking experience yesterday I will not go back. The guy rushed through my manicure and didn't even do the hand massage or anything. Just cleaned up my cuticles and painted my nails. I was out of there in 20 minutes, but my $30 experience was not what I had come to expect. Very disappointed. read more

I have gotten my nails done here for years and have had a great experience most every time! There were a few times where I didn't get the hand massage, but everything else is always wonderful! I have gone to various other salon throughout the years too, when I can't get here in time after work, and no other salon compares to the meticulous job they do here! My nails are always done perfectly... correct length, color, polish is even and my nails are filed the way I like! I have been to Ladue Nails (which I will never go back, they were horrible... half my nail wasn't even painted and all my nails were different lengths) and a few other places and my nails never last as long or look as good as the do when I go to LA Nails & Spa. The staff is friendly and I love when they paint the tip edge of the nail because other places do not and it always bothers me when I can see plain nail on the tip edge! THEY ARE WONDERFUL!! read more
