Got one of the best pedicures here today! Called ahead of time and they were happy to take me with no wait! The couple who own the salon are so sweet. I came here for the first time and i wasn't satisfied with the pedicure , the didn't clean well under the toenails , they did a great massage but the pedicure was poor quality, it feels like they pet my feet, also they don't have the plastic protector to change where you put your feet in. read more

There's no better place than Kelly's-- especially for a pedicure. It's a cute place, incredibly clean, and so relaxing. They do a truly fantastic job, never skimp on the massage, and I always leave feeling so pampered and relaxed. It's true, they aren't chatty at all (which I prefer). But they know what's going on in your life if you're a regular, which I find so endearing. I'm not even a regular-my mom is- and they knew about my college graduation, upcoming wedding, and eventually my move to Atlanta (over several years). The nail techs are usually pretty rude and they always do a mediocre job. I wouldn't recommend this place.

If you just need the basic's done, it's nice. Pretty good prices. Didn't feel as pampered as I normally do at Nail Salons though. The last 2 times I went and got gel, they looked sloppy. The first time I went, the gel chipped later that day. read more

I've visited here a few times and have always had a great experience. Their utensils all come out of the sterilizer, so it is clean. They have always taken their time with me as well- I'm a nail biter and love getting dip nails. One day my nails were so short, so they applied acrylic tips and then did the dip powered at no extra charge. So friendly and I recommend to anyone in the area. read more

The service is friendly and kind. However, the work done on my nails was not good quality at ALL. I got a powder manicure and had 3 nails chip after a week. It was too much of a hassle to keep going back to the salon to have them fixed, so I took them off myself at home. The powder came off my nails with very little effort. This place was not a good experience. The people were sweet but just not good at what they do. I got a pedicure and the man started with an exfoliating scrub which was great but after that he put oil on but never any lotion. So I have a pool of oil on my legs but super dry skin, still dead skin on my feet. The woman painted in like cotton/lint from the cotton they use to remove polish, and it's so messy all around the edges. I immediately paid and then drove down to AQ nails by Trader Joe's and had them redone. Don't waste your money just paint them at home. read more

My husband and I dropped in for pedicures. We aren't lical, but bad on location and reviews we popped in. The place is clean. Equipment is sterilzed and used fresh from the wrappings (opened in front of you). Overall, it was a nice basic/standard pedicure. Nail polish was applied and done nicely. The tech was friendly, but quite....not chatty. Foot and leg massage was nice. If you're looking for just the basics and nothing fancy, then I believe you'll get what you need here. I have been going to this place for a couple years now and really like how they do nails. I think the thing that stood out to me the most the first time I went and since then every time I visit is that the clippers and other tools needed to do my nails are always sterilized and in sealed packages. They are taken out of the storage area and opened right in front of me. The spa is always clean and organized. They have a lot of polish to choose from. I have had a pedi, mani and have also had a chair massage while waiting for my nails to dry. They may have other services. but I have not inquired about them. I never feel like they are trying to sell me anything additional, just offer great service. They are always polite and never too busy, so I don't have to wait very long and sometimes not at all. Recently they have added a new gel manicure and I am a huge fan! This is not the old school gel wrap. This is actual gel, rather than polish and it lasts two weeks. I have had gel white tips and also a few colors and they have all lasted two weeks or longer. I cannot ever imagine going back to polish. In Jan 2011 there are about 35 gel colors available at the salon, so you should be able to find something you like :) I think the name of the gel is Nobility and each layer dries as it is applied, so when you walk out of the salon, you have no worries. Your nails are dry! Parking is in the back of the building and you can enter through the back door, even though it may feel a bit odd. There are several back doors and they are not labeled, so it is the back door which is furthest west on the building. read more

I've been hearing all about this whole Shelac gel manicure business from my gal pals and I pass this place on my way to Trader Joe's every week ( I know, I likes me some TJ's). I read the 1 review and saw they do gel manicures. Sold. So I made an appointment Saturday morning for that afternoon. Showed up to a clean bright establishment and was greeted by a pleasant woman who made me feel welcome. She brought me towards the nail bar to show me the gel colors, they have TONS! So many to chose from. I went with the pale pink because I love a natural look. She also informed me that when you chose a lighter color it's harder to see the cuticle growth, thanks lady! She starts to go to town shaping, filing, and buffering all the while chatting with me about the AMAZING St. Louis Cardinal World Series Victory the night before. Another woman came in looking to get a fill. Here is why Kelly's Nail & Spa doesn't get five stars, she had to double duty both of us. The only other man in the place, who finished me up, was absolutely charming. I just think they need more staff. Granted, somebody could've called in sick or is on vacation but it's a Saturday afternoon, 5 women came in after me. What happens? It doesn't detract any from how much I love both of the employees that helped me. My nails look fabulous and the woman also did a killer job on my eyebrows! Only $9, now that's a deal. I will come back here for a long time. But call ahead for large groups to ensure enough staffing. read more

I went in last week to get a manicure. The owner was there an she was helpful. I got a gel manicure and it was okay but as I looked later, there was polish on my cuticles. The date I went in was 7/23 and I just went back today to show them how it wasn't up to par and nail Polish was chipping and so they fixed one hand from scratch (took off all the polish) and did it over ...smh I had two different people work on my nails and they both do horrible jobs. As a fellow member of the beauty industry, I know how frustrating it can be when someone walks in 15 min before closing. But I was in a pinch and needed a pedi before my weekend at the lake. There was only one employee left upfront and she couldn't have been kinder. Though I came right before close nothing about the process felt rushed. She was very thorough and the massage was wonderful and she actually used pressure! (sometimes hard to find). The facilities are VERY updated and clean. The nail polish selection is great. I received a pedicure and dip manicure at Kelly Nails & Spa. The pedicure was so relaxing (especially the massage part), I nearly fell asleep in the chair! I was nervous for my dip mani because my nails are currently super short and when they're like this, other nail places have gotten the dip all over my cuticle and surrounding skin. But that was not the case with this manicure! It's very clean and not on my skin at all. I love that conversation was not forced throughout the services, I was able to simply sit back and relax. I have been going to Kelly Nails & Spa since 2007. I have very weak natural nails that are like tissue paper so I always get nail fills and I either bring in my own polish or I use their gel polish. I go in every 10 days or 2 weeks and the shop is always clean and neat and so are all of their utensils. They are always punctual and their expertise is ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL! I also have them remove facial hair and they are wonderful and I NEVER walk out with a red face! I have given several people gift manicures and pedicures and everyone is always more than pleased! The owners are always cordial and business-like and it is a pleasure that I always look forward to each time. There is a large TV and many magazines to entertain their clients and the "massage chairs" and massages can relax the most uptight customer. There were two people working at the time, both of which were friendly and attentive. The prices were wonderful, but they also did a great job. I'm not from the area, so looked at reviews, and when I saw that they sterilize and It surpassed my former first place winner at a spa, where I'd been given a gift certificate and cost $50! She didn't hurry through the foot and leg scrub & massage & then massage with lemon slice, then lotion. I requested white polish, which required 3 coats, and also got a coat of glitter. She very patiently applied them all. My feet & legs look and feel fantastic. All of that for $25! I'd had a stressful day with medical appointments, and this is just what the Dr ordered. I'm not from the area, so read reviews and picked this place when I read they sanitize and bag instruments after each use. Everything was clean in the place.
