I'm new to the area and decided to try La Niña Nails for a fill and a gel pedicure. I made an appointment, arrived on time and then still had to wait about 20 minutes. The ladies were all very friendly but oh so slow. I had a 2:30 appointment and walked out just before 5. My nails looked good after both services but neither fingers or toes lasted. Pedicure started chipping 3 days later which should not happen with gel. 3 broken nails shortly after my initial fill which leads me to believe that they use inferior product as I had them put on a new set. Prices here are about average for the area but I really feel like the service should last 2-3 weeks. I don't have time to continually repair broken nails and it's no fun to go around looking like a mess. I will be going elsewhere next time. read more

I called and made an apoointment for a regular Man/pedi. I arrived at for my appointment ony to remember that I had been to this salon before and had not returned then. The nail tech was finishing up and so I waited. I always bring my own color polish because I like the brand and the colors they offer (OPI). When the woman was ready she did not bring a bowl to soak my nails. Oh, she will probably shape them then saok one hand and then the other. Nope that never happened. She used cuticile lotion and it was all over my hand and gooey. I asked to wash my hand before she proceeded to polish. she was very nice but seemed a bit unsure and she was clumsy and spilled the polish twiice. We are finally finished with hands and I appreciate that my nails will have a long time to dry and cure while the pedicure is done. Well, if you want to sit in your chair and soad in a plastic tub then the price is chaeper. If, you want to use one of the two pedicure chairs it is an extra $10.00. Now it is above usual pricing but I want to move on. The pedi goes pretty much the same as any other salon. But, as with my hands she does not do the same thing to both hands or feet. I want to go now. I ask the price and get ready to give a card but they do not take cards, not even Debit cards. However, they do use Zelle. Lucky me!! Get out the cell phone; go to my Bank's app, etc, etc. My car fob is in my purse not digging theough my purse for keys. I get home in about 10 minutes and when I get in the house and check the mani with my glasses on there is a smudge, a divot and another smudge on my right hand as well. I have been in the salon more that 2.5 hrs. The manicure was setting the entire time of the pedi. I am very angry but now surprised. They leave you in the spa chair for your pedi to dry; they have no fans, no dryers. Perhaps, they excel at Acrylics or gel but they certainly do not meet basic standards for a regular mani /pedi in my opinion. I will never return to this vendor. Take this critcism to improve your offerings and get real with no cards. read more

I've been going to Angie for years and my mom has been going even longer, we both love her talent (she can do ANYTHING, literally anything!) and friendliness. The salon is always clean and they really make you feel like family. This little tucked away gem of a salon gets 5 stars from me! read more

Staff was very friendly. I explained I had to pick up my child soon and they worked quickly and efficiently. The interior of the store is a little older but it didn't matter to me. I always struggle with nail salons because I have asthma. So, this is why I gave them 4/5 stars...opening the door or a fan would help a lot. I went to La Niña on the advice of a friend. Very very glad I did. I called for a gel mani/pedi and was able to drive and get in and have both services done simultaneously. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is warm and friendly. I typically go to a place in Sacramento, where I work, but I am so glad to find a salon close to home! ive been going to nina's for manicures, and now acrylics since i was .... 3 or 4 with my mom. so about 16 years. my mom refuses to go anywhere else. ive tried a ton of different nail shops around the area, and this place definitely wins with quality. they are a little more pricey then most in the area, (38$ for a new set, glitter tips, airbrush stripe fade, and glitter gel coat, lol so i guess thats my fault for the price) but the people there speak very good english, very friendly and accomodating, very very clean, with nice decor. I've been going to Larry for the last 3 years or so, warning he is a little rough, but he's always done a stunning job. (see pic) read more

I absolutely love going to La Nina Nails. I've been getting my nails done by Larry for a couple of months now and I've never left unhappy. He is quick and precise which is unlike anyone I've been to before. He helps fix my nails without question when I've accidentally messed them up during the paint drying. And most importantly, he is gentle with my hands. If I have a cut on my finger, he glues it and proceeds with caution. I would highly recommend La Nina Nails to anyone :) read more

I took my daughter here for a pedi. I would've given 4 stars but I called the day before and scheduled the appt and when we got there they said they didn't have us down for the appt. And then tried to convince me that I called the wrong place...? I thought this wasn't a good business practice. But La Niña redeemed themselves because Nina herself took care of my daughter and my daughter and I were pleased with the results of her pretty toes. read more

I was referred to this salon and I was not disappointed. I made an appt and they were on time with seeing me. I asked for pink/white full set and they only took 45 min. Everyone spoke fluent English and engaged in conversation. It's small but very nice. I will be returning. read more

Best place ever for your nails. I do shellac and they last about 3 weeks. They are awesome and they do an excellent job.

Took my mom today for pedicures and they were amazing the girls were so friendly I love that it's a small shop an apt is necessary there are 2 pedicure chairs. They take their time my feet are so soft and smooth I will be going back for my toes and nails. Had shellac done and they came out great as well. Highly recommended. read more

SO disappointing..... My mom lives out in Brentwood so I figured I would get my nails done out there and try the rockstar mani/pedi for the first time. I go on a Monday..... they are closed. Nobody mentioned that on yelp, so here it is for you all, they are most definitely closed on Monday. Tuesday comes around, I call to make sure I can get an appointment. I specifically asked, how much is a rockstar manicure and pedicure? She said 35 for each. I then proceeded to ask.... does that include a manicure and pedicure with that? She said yes! So I go, they have me pick out colors. I picked a really glittery neon coral for my hands. The guy doesn't even file my nails before he starts applying the color...... WTF? I was like um.... filing? Evenness? No? He was like oh after I paint! What. the.....?! Girl files my toes a little, no water, no cuticle cutting, nothing..... proceeds to apply paint. The color on my hands turns out baby pink instead of coral. I swear its because of the bottom coat color he chose, but okay.... I even said after he did the first nail that it didn't look right. He just brushed me off and ignored me. Thanks dude. Seriously. They finish, he files, they are all uneven..... no manicure, no pedicure. I was livid. I go to pay..... no credit card. You MUST be kidding me?! They sent me to an ATM across the street and around the corner (I had to drive) to pay $70 for this ridiculousness. The next day, the color is already lifting around my cuticles....... UGH. NEVER never ever again...... Horrible place. read more

I was amazed at the spa pedicure I received at this salon! AWESOME!! They took their time and did a really great job from start to finish. Then I had a full set put on and they were perfect and stayed perfect for over two weeks!! Super nice people working there. Speak English only, not that I don't love other languages or cultures, I just have a hard time when an accent is so thick that I do not know what I am agreeing to. I am not good at guessing at what people are saying with thick accents and I always feel bad asking for people to repeat themselves. I have made this my salon, I am hooked, as are most of the other women I work with. read more
