Looking down from the second floor - decorated nicely for the holidays!

We had such a lovely time here for dinner on a Friday night! Called for a reservation about twenty minutes before we wanted to go out and were lucky enough to score a table. We started with drinks, fritto misto and the carpaccio. The breading on the calamari and shrimp was light and the tomato sauce to dip was chunky and tasty (could have used a little more, but we're big dippers). Carpaccio was my favorite dish of the night - fresh arugula, a generous helping of shaved Parm, all perfectly seasoned. We had the Margherita chicken and the Strascinate Pugliesi for mains. Literally the best broccoli rabe dish I've ever eaten - cooked beautifully, full of flavor but not bitter, pasta was delicious and looked made by hand. The chicken dish was also fresh and very tasty. Only minor complaint is a side of pasta would have been a welcome compliment to the dish (maybe next time). We were too stuffed for dessert, but very much look forward to trying it when we return for date nights. This will also be a great place to take our parents (who are rather picky eaters). The service was fantastic - relaxed and friendly, right there when you needed something and returned quickly with all our requests. Thank you for a great evening!

Great! Would def. return! We had the special appetizer, fried zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, & prosciutto. Outside was so crispy Soooo good. Husband had Linguini with Clams & I had the Mesclun salad, with candied walnuts, goat cheese, cranberries, crispy prosciutto , & strawberries Dessert was excellent- Bomballini.

Made reservations for 8:30pm , we're seated right away. Ordered two drinks , they were both yummy and strong lmao no complaints here's. We ordered the calamari and fried shrimp appetizer that was delicious. Will definitely return, best Italian food I've had in years!

The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly. The food and menu, however, weren't really to my liking. Not knowing that this was a health-conscious restaurant, when I was asked if I wanted something to drink, I replied with "Diet Coke." That's when our server explained the health concept of the place and mentioned that they didn't carry soda. I was a bit confused because of the amount of alcohol I saw on the menu and at the bar after hearing about the health angle. He suggested a drink similar to ginger ale, but since that drink would cost more than a beer, I went with the beer instead. Now, moving on to the food: the charred cauliflower wasn't bad (could've used a bit more char), but the main dishes were disappointing. The tuna poke bowl didn't look appetizing, and the rice didn't seem fully cooked. The all-American burger also missed the mark. I asked for it medium-well, but it was closer to medium. It wasn't terrible in terms of cooking, but it lacked flavor. I'm not sure if the burger was properly seasoned, because all I tasted was cooked ground beef, a bit of Thousand Island dressing, and bread. The fries were okay--not bad for a restaurant that chooses to air-fry instead of deep-fry to be healthier. However, the ketchup, which I had to request, tasted like standard commercial ketchup. It didn't have the "smoky, tangy with the right amount of kick" flavor described on the company's Instagram.

On the other hand, they are always out of something and the employees are dismissive. My latest run-in with them: I ordered on a Friday night for pickup. I arrived at the pickup time and my order hadn't been started. The employee found it at the printer and began making it on the spot, only to then realize they were out of goat cheese, which for me is a main ingredient in the salad. I told them nevermind, which clearly annoyed him because he started putting the other ingredients in the bowl. I asked for a refund and was told it couldn't be processed in-store. He directed me to go through the app. After speaking to the manage and not getting anywhere, I left without a refund. I proceeded to go back and forth with Guest Relations for 10 days before my refund was issued. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

I was alone and despite being semi-crowded, there wasn't a wait. This place definitely gives a hole in the wall vibe and that's what I wanted. There are plenty of "brunch vibes" in Long Island and that's not what I was looking for today. Service was super prompt and the food came quick, less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Mexican omelette which was eggs, shredded chicken and oaxacan cheese. I expected the chicken and cheese to be cooked into the omelette - it was actually an egg omelette with the chicken and cheese folded inside. No complaints though; when I had enough eggs, I was able to eat just the chicken. It was well seasoned and not doused in cheese, which I appreciated. Note to self: no sour cream next time. It was unnecessary. The omelette came with a side of home fries. The home fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy, with onions and peppers. They tasted great. It also came with toast and I added avocado, and made avocado toast... YUM. I had an iced coffee on the side. Nothing special about the coffee- not good or bad. They had almond milk and sugar-free vanilla... yay! Lastly, I took a sausage omelette with sweet potato chips to go for my son and he loved it. I would definitely come back.
