My husband booked our party of 6 for Mother's day brunch. It was crowded. We had to squeeze past other tables to go to another room to get our food (buffet). We got one complimentary cocktail each. The mimosas were tasteless, and the bloody Mary was weak and tasted mostly of the cocktail sauce. The scrambled eggs were powdered eggs. The home fries had bits of green pepper? The bacon was quite salty, and either greasy and undercooked or burnt crispy. The waffles and French toast were probably frozen and reheated, but only lukewarm and rubbery. The shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side were not peeled. The stuffed chicken breast was OK. The roast beef at the carving station was mostly overcooked. The pasta was average. The melon chunks were tasteless. The mini muffins I would bet were Little Debbie mini muffins....nothing special. The desserts were laid out on Dixie Paper plates on the bar! I would bet money they were store-bought and some were still partly frozen. The water at each place setting was served in 6 oz.plastic cups and tasted awful. The only advantage was that neither me nor my daughter had to do any cooking or cleanup! I think they had a lot of nerve to insist on a mandatory 20% tip included on the bill! For a buffet?? And then had the nerve to leVe a space on the receipt for " additional tip"! What service? The lady who seated us took our cocktail order....that's all. The dirty plates sat on the table for quite some time before they were cleared away. Everyting was self service! We will never go to a buffet event ther again! read more

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. They took our temp when we came in and the dining room is spacious. We had the dinner for 2 special. 58 dollars for a large appetizer plate, bottle of wine, salad, and entree- we both had a filet. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service was excellent (we had Dereck S a waiter ) and we really got so much food for our money. I will be back many times!! I highly recommend!! read more

Excellent food and service and a beautiful patio setting. Had the $54 dinner for two. Included a bottle of wine, large appetizer assortment, salads, and two meals. We had chicken Marsala and lobster ravioli. Everything was great!! Marcia and Cammi were our servers... one was training. They both seemed excellent! read more

Loved it. Made a last minute reservation. Enjoyed the view, the buzz of the dining room, excellent service. Want something? Ask for it. This is terrific food with unpretentious wanting-to-please service and a familiar-welcome here-welcome back atmosphere. Crab cakes were loaded with fresh crab on crisp greens w delicate but tasty remoulade. Lobster ravioli-- sensational--and loaded cioppino surrounded by slightly spicy well crafted sauce. Enjoyed ourselves so much we ordered a second round of drinks to linger a bit. Think we will soon be regulars. read more

First off, food was fantastic. Best tzatziki I've ever had and 10/10 would recommend the lobster roll. Really nice view out on the water, too. The service, however, takes the cake. I went with a couple girlfriends from out of town and we stayed until closing. We were unable to locate an Uber to get us home, so instead of letting us sit outside and wait after the restaurant was shut down, in the dark, 2 of the staff (Janet and Jessica) offered to drive us home. We didn't have many options so we took one of them up on it. She dropped us off at our hotel and went on her way, and we couldn't have been more grateful for her kindness. We have never been and decided to give it a try. A lot can be said about a restaurant when the grounds are not well maintained. We drove up and noticed that everything about the grounds seemed over grown and messy. Lots of weeds, branches on the pergola, random bricks just on the ground. Not impressed. We decided to eat outside on the patio over looking the water. Again, sloppy atmosphere with weeds and a very dated system of using table numbers. Our table number was food stained so that was another turnoff. My cloth napkin was stained before I unrolled it so in my opinion should have been caught before it was used. Little details like this tell a lot about a place. Waitress took our drink order and we just decided on doing a couple apps. We ordered calamari and a flatbread. The flatbread was just a pizza and lacked any real flavor and the calamari was decent but nothing super exciting about it. The owner did stop at our table and was pleasant but I just couldn't wait to get out of there. I know restaurants are coming back from Covid and they lack the staff but if a large defining feature of your restaurant is atmosphere, I would ensure that the area is well maintained. read more

We ordered the take out Thanksgiving dinner. Our first time having a restaurant dinner for the holiday so we were a bit nervous. I will never cook a turkey again! This dinner was fabulous, perfect turkey with delicious sides. The surprises kept coming with every dish we uncovered. This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. read more

Literally the worst place I've ever been this so-called manager/owner had no manners or respect for his customers he was in my face and in my husbands face. I let him know my husband wanted to order something else because the steak we ordered was not good the waitress was more than willing to change our order but he said no you're going to eat this food. He said "I sold over 50 steaks it's good" the most disrespectful person I've ever met. It came to the point where we had to call the cops just to let him know this is not good customer service this is not how you treat people I have no problem paying my tab so you're not gonna make me pay for something that I'm heading back to you saying does not taste right. the food was still on the plate and this little man wanted us to pay for it. And he touch it with his finger saying he sell good steaks. When the cop came about 7 other stranger let them know the steak was horrible. One person told the cop his son choked on a peace of steak. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

I agree with other review regarding lack of upkeep of the grounds. I realize restaurants have been through a very difficult year and a half and are struggling to hire more staff, but a little attention to the outside would go a long way to improving first impression! We stopped in for dinner last Saturday & sat outside by the water. The metal tables need cleaning/painting to remove/cover the rust - or use tablecloths. Our waiter, Derick, was wonderful! I would have ordered a glass of my 'go to' wine, but at $9.25 I couldn't justify it since I can get a bottle of the same wine at that same price! I get that there needs to be a mark up, but not that much! My son got the flatbread pizza - looked like a 'regular' pizza - but said it was good. I just found a photo of the dish I had that was taken by another reviewer - my shrimp casserole had three times the amount of stuffing than what the photo shows! Mine was tasty but a couple of the shrimp were undercooked, so I was glad to have the extra stuffing. The third dish we ordered was scrod, which was good, but was barely warm. The roasted (?) veggies were over cooked. I had stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago with a friend and was very happy with the food & service. Might try again especially since the location is nice. read more
