Great place to watch FC Barcelona games, visited for "el clasico" game on a Wednesday, the place was completely full and the waitresses were swamped, in spite of that the service was very good, our waitress super nice and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very close to what you feel going to the stadium. Definetly will be back to watch soccer games

Just came for the food and drinks. It was hot as f! I was constantly sweating. The beans were nothing special, honestly on my lazy days that's exactly what my beans taste like. Not enough alcohol in the drinks. The ceibeño doesn't have that delicious sauce, it taste like tomato sauce watered down. The nance was good as always. The bathroom as my husband puts it has a grape nice scent though the ladies bathroom was a bit trashed. Overall I'll probably come back next year. The place could use some improvements.

Wow I can't believe I'm the first to review, this place has been here since at least May or June. Anyway, I've been to MANY Honduran restaurants both in Miami and in Honduras... and this place has the nicest, cleanest interior of all the places I've been. I actually went here to watch the world cup final as they have many TVs and a HUGE projector screen to watch the games. (Whoops, forgot to review at the time.) They have several types of beer, and liquor also. They have the usual variety of Honduran food, and some other foods that are not really Honduran, such as rabo encendido. The reason I give 4 stars is that the food is Ok but nothing to get really exited about. I would recommend Patio Tipico restaurant just down the road for their food, but you should still check out this place for the beautiful interior and atmosphere.

I love to eat pupusas and baleadas, but was never able to find a place that sells them both. I was amazed with how great the food taste. I ordered the baleada mega which was pretty big. I will order 2 the next time I go. The pupusa was made perfectly. It had a sufficient amount of cheese!

Very very disappointed. As a Honduran, this food didn't have flavor. It just tasted just plain.

Captain Jim's has the freshest seafood in North Miami…read more We often dine in, but occasionally we've also taken fish or lobsters to grill when tailgating etc., and it's always way better and fresher than what we would have picked up anywhere else. Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Quite little Seafood Restaurant in a small Strip Mall has a kinda unique feature that you don't see too often in South Florida but is common in my "Neck Of The Woods", there's a Fresh Seafood Market attached. The menu is not large but it has some pretty good items. Some are standard South Florida menu items Calamari, Conch Salad, Fritter, Scampi are among the offerings but there are a few standouts like: Blackened Fish, Shrimp Creole, Buffalo Shrimp, Caribbean Fish Soup, Shrimp And Grits, Po Boys and a few other sandwiches and pastas round out the menu. But the star of the show are the Fresh Shucked Oysters. From Virginia and only a $1.25 during Happy Hour, these oysters are delicious and have a different taste than their primos from the Gulf Of Mexico that I grew up on.....delicious nonetheless. The great staff makes dining here a much better experience. You're warmly welcomed and presented with a little bite of Krab Salad as soon as you sit. Happy Hour starts at 4PM and ends at 7PM. Do not miss the opportunity to indulge, it's a nice gateway to the great dinner you'll enjoy.

This is a true workingman's kind of place, affordable, unpretentious, and focused on what matters most: fresh seafood done right. It smells like a fish market when you walk in, which honestly just tells you everything is fresh. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and you will not leave hungry. It's the kind of place where the food speaks for itself, no gimmicks, just solid, satisfying meals at a great price. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. It is a seafood market on the front that you walk through to the back patio where the dining is. We were greeted by our server. I wish I could remember his name but he was funny. Great with suggestions. We were trying to decide from garlic sauce, to creole to blackened, etc. He was super helpful. He also kept stopping by and chatting with us from time to time. he noticed we had an MSC Cruise tag on our luggage and mentioned he used to work for them. Small world. My husband ended up getting the conch (he had it 3 different ways in the Bahamas and wanted to try it here) and shrimp in the creole sauce with fried rice and botanas. I got the lobster and shrimp in the scampi sauce with the fried rice and black beans. PLUS our server threw in a side salad for free. I will say this is a TON of food. I couldn't finish it all and it made me sad because we had to go to the airport right afterwards so I couldn't take the leftovers with me. The lobster was cooked well and the shrimp were huge. Love the scampi sauce. if you like garlic, this is for you. The fried rice is seafood fried rice. It has shrimp, scallops and maybe other seafood in it and it is a large portion. I liked the black beans as well. Just too much food. Great place though. I so would go back and eat here again. Maybe next time just get the shrimp for a smaller portion.
