Yes, the prices can be high but most business park delis are a bit pricey. The way I look at it, you're paying for convenience as the food choices in the area are limited. And no, I have never had expired or molded food from this deli like other posters have commented. As far as the service, I place an order and they give me what I ordered. I dont need any more then that. Yes, there can be a language barrier at times but I am not there to have a conversation.

While I understand they call it hot pepper because of the pepper jack cheese, it's certainly not hot. Probably the biggest reason I wanted to write this review is because of the soup. Today they had Tomato Basil and Chicken with wild rice. I had a coup of the Chicken & Wild Rice with my sandwich. LOVED this soup, not sure why but the flavor was really good and it was full of chunky vegetables and certainly chicken. It had a really rich and creamy flavor, I would have just had a huge bowl of this had I known how good it was. I would certainly recommend this place if your in the area. It is a bit pricey, but the soup was certainly worth it!

They said that the Vietnamese sandwiches were flavorful, filling, and worth the price. I went with the pork puff pastry, which also had a decent portion size. It was warm, crispy, perfectly flaky on the outside, and had a good meat to pastry ratio. It tasted fresh! Service was friendly, and while we got our food to-go, there were plenty of people enjoying their food within the restaurant.

My's is best known for their banh mis, but they also serve pho, fresh rolls, and other Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the CHICKEN (#10) BANH MI ($8 and change plus tax and tip). The toasted baguette and pickled carrot and daikon were all fresh and crispy. However, I wished they put more vegetables inside. I also was disappointed by the chicken as it was shredded and not grilled. It tasted like canned chicken and was overall kind of bland. Had I known the chicken wasn't grilled, I would've gone with the grilled pork instead. Additionally, there was too much pate (which reminded me of melted salted butter, but gooier - almost like the texture of brie cheese) slathered on the sandwich and so I ended up scraping most of it off. Compared to Yeh Yeh's in Lynnwood, this banh mi unfortunately missed the mark for me (although it is convenient). With that said, I'd give them another try and try the grilled pork next instead with light pate. My mother tried the fresh rolls, and thought they were kind of small for the price. The peanut sauce was decent. I took my lunch to go, but the interior atmosphere is cozy. Service was decent too. Overall: 3/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 3.5/5 for atmosphere

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! My bf reminds me of this store we randomly came across one day. It has what the store in Lakewood has but more grocery options. Cute and homey store. I spent about 30mins+ give or take shopping for the family. There are many options of trinkets, chocolates (alcohol ones too) , drinks, mustards, curry ketchups, gummy candy, bread, gravy etc. I did notice they don't carry any Maggie products for gravy and such. I know that was my bro's first question as he prefers that brand lol. The staff is really kind. The deli dude was patient with me as I told him I have a lot to order. I met the female owner and she's a sweetheart. The cashier lady was also so helpful as I couldn't find a specific brand candy. She pointed me in the right direction and luckily there was enough :) There's plentiful parking in the lot, and can get pretty cramped when busy as it's not a big store but has many options. My basket total in my picture provided is $255. My brother in law asked me to take them here next time they're in town as there's so much to look at.

When I pulled into the parking lot, it was just me. Within minutes (not kidding) the shop and parking lot was filled with other customers. And no, I did not shine the bat signal, lol. Clearly this is a major destination for German centric goods. I wandered the aisles and found items I haven't seen since being a German exchange student in Tuttlingen and visiting the long shuttered Continental Store European Delicatessen in Seattle's University District on Roosevelt. Talk about nostalgia. I also heard that Bavarian Meats changing hands no longer represents its previous quality. I found Spezi, Milka and Ritter chocolates, and of course, queued up at the deli counter for fleischsalat and leberkase. The gentleman behind the deli counter kindly answered my questions. Most of the deli items are handmade onsite. The woman at the register was so welcoming and spoke positively at length about the awesome couple from Berlin who set up shop - celebrating 65 years married and this October 2025 they will celebrate 50 years in business! Love hearing these kind of stories about indie, family-run businesses. Highly recommended visit while in Burien!

Where do I even start with this place?…read more My son and I were really hungry and craving something different, so I turned to Yelp to find a great sandwich spot. I almost went to a place in Kent but wasn't completely sold, so I searched again--and that's when I found Aunt Becky's. What a gem! We originally planned to get our lunches to go, but once we arrived, we decided to stay and eat inside. The women behind the counter were absolutely lovely--so patient and helpful as they answered all our questions. The menu is clearly displayed behind the counter, and there's a fun assortment of snacks and drinks up front. I ordered a toasted BLT, which was delicious (though I can't remember exactly what my son got). While my sandwich in and of itself might not look absolutely delicious - remember that looks can be deceiving and this sandwich was life-changing on the day we went! The vibe inside is laid-back and cozy. The decor is a little older, but it just adds to the homey feel. It's clearly a spot loved by families, local businesses, and workers from nearby construction sites--people were coming in and out the whole time for takeout. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend you check it out too. You won't be disappointed! See ya there!

However, there are times, you just want a bahn mi, or something quick to grab - a very Vietnamese thing. Where can you go? Enter, Renton Deli! Renton Deli, located in the Renton Highlands neighborhood, IS NOT a western/American deli. It is very much a Vietnamese deli with an all Vietnamese menu. There is no Pho to be had here. However, there are some quintessential Vietnamese grab and go classics that are here. Noodles (i.e. Bun) with sausages, Hum bao, and of course lots of Vietnamese style desserts. However, if a bahn mi is what you are looking for, look no further. There is pulled chicken, grilled pork and tofu available. Please be advised, this is not a fast process. You will be waiting at least 10-12 minutes for your sandwich. Longer if there is a line. But that's okay. Plan accordingly, as these sandwiches are made to order, and hot.
