This place used to be marina grocery but it seems that it has changed to hashi market. Doesn't seem…read moreto have changed much. There is live seafood at the back of the store. Prices were similar to ranch 99. Good selection. Produce didn't seem as fresh as ranch 99 and several of the fruits being sold looked visible bruised or way too ripe. There is not a lot or room to walk around and when it is busy, you cannot really walk around with a shopping cart. Cashiers were generally friendly and the seafood team was responsive. The meat department butchers were a bit curt. I think I prefer ranch 99.

Not too familiar with the area, we were unaware of the ownership change. Crabs at $7.99/lb. seem like a reasonable price, vegetables looked fresh. Meats and seafood are priced a little lower than other Asian markets. I was excited to find some sesame candy which reminded me of childhood snack, however there is no expiration date on the good looking box ($4.99). The food court area is being remodeled, we walked around it carefully. The crabs we steamed last night for dinner were pretty good. Today I tried the sesame candy and was very disappointed. As soon as I opened the nicely wrapped candy, the aroma of rancid sesame oil hit me and it tasted bitter.....basically the candy is inedible. I understand it may not be the fault of the market because this item was imported. The lack of expiration date should have given me a warning, my fault. Needless to say we will not be rushing back to shop here anytime soon, hopefully they do a better job on quality control going forward.

I am so happy I discovered Gourmet Corner. Even in the culturally diverse Bay Area, it can be…read moresurprisingly difficult to find authentic French ingredients without driving long distances. Gourmet Corner makes it easy to enjoy real French food at home. They offer an impressive selection of French products, including sausages, charcuterie, salami, cheeses, wines, chocolates, cookies, and many other specialty items. The prices are very reasonable, and the ordering process is simple. After ordering online, I chose to pick up my order at their Campbell location. The process was simple and hassle-free. I recently purchased Raclette cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, it is the best Raclette I have found in the Bay Area. Today I picked up Boudin Noir along with some French sweets, and I am looking forward to trying them. What really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive, and flexible. They went out of their way to help, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. For first-time visitors picking up an order at the Campbell location, the pickup location can be a little tricky to find. Look for the large building with the American Barbell gym at the entrance. Facing the building, there is a small entrance on the far right side with designated pickup parking spaces. Once you arrive, call to let them know you're there, and they will bring your order out to your car. One helpful tip: wine shipments arrive on Tuesdays and Fridays, while many of the other food items are typically kept in stock. After your order is confirmed, pickup is often available without having to wait specifically for those delivery days. I also learned that Gourmet Corner regularly participates in local farmers' markets throughout the Bay Area. It's always nice to support a small business that brings authentic French products directly to the community and helps people discover the flavors of France close to home. If you love French food, French culture, or simply want to recreate an authentic French meal at home, I highly recommend Gourmet Corner. Shopping here feels like stepping into a French gourmet market without leaving California. I'll definitely be ordering again very soon!

Since it was a warm day and one of the items I bought was butter, they offered an ice pack so my butter would survive the trip home. I would definitely shop here again.

Sometimes you discover new foods and other times, you can be amazed by how expensive or inexpensive something can be. Since we can't travel internationally all the time, the next best thing is to wander into stores that offer staples from other countries. After lunch today, my wife walked into Istanbul Market next door and came out with three desserts. Unfortunately, we failed to write down the names and descriptions of what we got. Just three yummy looking morsels. We know one was Baklava. One was Turkish Delight. We're not sure what the third one was. I reserve my sweet tooth for ice cream, so I didn't personally try these, but she said that they were all super sweet. Service was reserved, but friendly.

He was incredibly welcoming, genuinely passionate about his craft, and took the time to walk us through a variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars without ever making it feel like a sales pitch. You can tell he truly enjoys helping people find something they'll love. The shop itself has a warm, rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and browse. There is an impressive selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars, from classic everyday staples to unique flavors that you probably wouldn't think to try until you taste them. Whether you're a serious home cook or just looking for a unique gift or something to elevate your next meal, Del Oliva is absolutely worth a visit. This store has almost everything you could possibly need. I didn't get a chance to explore the entire place because I spent most of my time browsing the snack and cosmetics sections. The cosmetics aisle especially reminded me of Don Quijote in Japan! They even carry some of the products I bought during my trip that I never expected to find here in the States. The prices are definitely higher than what you'd pay in Japan, but that's to be expected. I'm just happy to know there's a local spot where I can find them when I run out. They also have claw machines and gachapon near the entrance, which were fun to check out. I'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the store!

They were selling dango in front that was delicious. Inside it was nice and clean but so empty. I went to hot food where they make Ramen and bento boxes. The guy at the register was a little rude and was like we are dog sold out of everything all we have is ramen. I went to the other side where they had hot food like fried rice, chicken teriyaki, and other staples. The food looked a little rough and sketch. We tried it and I should've followed my gut. My husband ended up getting a stomach ache. The bakery section looked sad there was hardly anything there and it didn't look fresh. I ended up purchasing an ube and matcha mochi that had no sprinkles. It was chewy but didn't taste fresh. It wasn't oily or greasy but the flavors didn't pop out. If it wasn't for the colors I wouldn't have thought it was ube or matcha. My aunt did purchase a tuna head that was a good deal. Not sure if it was good, she hasn't cooked it yet. They did have a good snack and candy selection. They had a whole aisle of different flavor kitkats which was cool to see. Overall, it was ok
