    the BEANS!!!
    Jennifer G.

Forgot her name that attend us. Short lady with pontail it was on Friday we sat in the first table outside. Only table before entering the door. I Ordered Camarones Rancheros ith NO BEANS. When we thought our food was ready she set some plates down to our tables that wasn't ours. My husband said this is not ours. She apologized and left. She took a alot of time and our order wasn't ready. When finally our food was ready, the first thing i saw was there was the BEANS! I had told her NO BEANS! She said I Know You didn't wanted beans But I put them. I had told her She can change it to Salad or Rice instead and we saw her writting it down. I just don't understand Why she still put BEANS on my plate??? She should thank God I didn't threw a fit on her imI still left her a tip. She should next time LISTEN to Customers Orders and make a change. I'm never coming back again. I'll rather go somewhere else.

Amazing mexican food, very authentic. Great restaurant for all big backs like me . Also if ya'll got a dad, he'd definitely love this place.

My boyfriend and I just picked up food from here and it was 60 dollars for beans and rice, one enchilada and one taco. I have never been so disappointed with food before. The lack of flavor in the food makes it unrecognizable to what it is supposed to be. The carnitas tacos were basically just fat with hardly any meat the beans were over cooked and tasted burnt and the enchilada was dry flavorless and tased like straight tomato paste. On top of that we asked for verde and it was red... to top it all off it took an excessive amount of time for the food to be done and ready to go. Save yourself the trip and go literally anywhere else. Here's a couple pictures

Randomly decided to try this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. The carne asada plate was delicious, and the portions were big. Also, Most of the plates come with tortillas. The only reason why I'm giving the 4 stars is because the salsa wasn't spicy and the drink didn't have enough alcohol.

Place looked promising...ordered the Chile Verde, it had potential if they actually gave me meat with my green chili soup. Disappointing to say the least. Rice and beans were good and so were their store bought tortillas.

Two taco combo. Came out to about $10

Yes the plates they use here are huge. Yes the portions look huge. Yes they charge you as if the portions were huge. No the actual amount of food they give you is not a lot. I went here and ordered the two tacos combo. Comes with your choice of meat tacos, rice, beans, and salad. For $10 Flavor wise. The food lacked a lot. It felt like the people that work there are not trying the food themselves because the beans were extremely over salted and the salsa had no salt at all. The carne asada didn't taste good and I thought drowning it in salsa would help but the salsa didn't taste good either :( If you want to be fancy and over pay for Mexican food this is the place for you. Their set up is cute Mexican tradition style and I'm sure their Mexican beers are good, I just wish the food was too.

Molcajete, with pretty much everything. Beef, chicken, shrimp, cactus, sausage.

Fantastic little mex seafood place. It's not fine dining, but it is absolutely great for what it is. Solid basics like pork chili verde and wonderful more elaborate meals like the molcajete and whole fried fish. The food is really good, and the service is even better. Great relaxed place to enjoy a bottle of beer and good food. Open for dining on patio with COVID precautions.

The inside was decorated all throughout and made you feel like you were truly in a different place. It's dim, intimate and gave such a cool atmosphere! I heard this place is hard to get a reservation but one of my girlfriends was able to snag one the week prior! The inside of the restaurant is a smaller establishment so I can see why reservations would be difficult. They have a plethora of drinks! Mostly specializing in specialty rum cocktails. Ordered the ritual of the Queen which was a specialty drink with tequila and coconut rum. Very delicious! For food our table shared the Loco Moco and chicken katsu. Both delicious! There is also another smaller bar area behind closed doors that give speak easy vibes. I'm not sure how or if this place accommodates big groups as the tables are good for maybe 4-6 people. It was wonderful to get the freshness of the ac instead of waiting outside in the heat. As you enter the decor is so fun and captivating. The servers are super friendly and welcoming and they have so many drink options. The food is good and they did mention they have a rotating menu that changes for the season! We enjoyed everything, and it was fun to see everyone's drink as it arrived. You do have a timeframe, so we were bummed when it was almost time to go because we were really enjoying our time there, but good reason to come back again!

We arrived about an hour after opening, and the bar already felt completely unprepared. The bartender was eating food at the bar while we were there, and after getting our initial drinks, we were essentially left on our own. She never checked back with us, and not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. For a place I had been excited to finally visit, this was easily one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had. The service was inattentive, the atmosphere felt unprofessional, and the overall experience left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.
