It's been a long time since I've been to this place at least two years and things have changed. They've redecorated. It looks a lot nicer. The menu has been simplified and the number of dishes has dropped dramatically. The prices have gone up, but that's the norm nowadays. Quantity is about average. I wouldn't say they're big portions or small portions, just enough. I ordered several dishes. I ordered the Ong choi, the chicken Pad See, but ended up getting a beef Pad See instead. A garlic pork dish which was tough and dry and a panang beef curry. The Ong Choi was tasty with what looked like peanuts or maybe beans as toppings. The Pad Su was a touch on the sweet side, but the curry on the panang beef is something I would put on top of white rice to add extra oomph. The service was quick and besides a little mistake in the ordering (no biggie) everything was fine. I do like the new decorations, but there is a weird smell as you enter the restaurant like a leaking gas line. Sit near the rear and you won't smell it at all. read more

I used to come here consistently pre-COVID. And it was THE place that all my Thai friends recommended for authentic cuisine. It was so good, I've recommended it multiple times over the years. Last night's experience was not what I so fondly remembered. We had the Ong Choy, the Beef Panang, Beef Pad Seew and the Pepper Garlic Pork. The meat in the Pad Seew was oddly cold compared to the sauce, same for the pork dish. And the meat was tough, leaving the impression it had been re-heated and tossed with new sauce. The Beef Panang was tasty but with very little meat to spare, particularly for a dish that costs $20. The only saving grace was the Ong Choy, overcooked but very tasty. Sadly, we don't think we'll be returning. I'm giving it 3 stars because I remember the quality and I am hoping it's was a one-off experience. read more

The Fried Fish with Mango salad was the best out of the dishes we got. Fish was crispy on the outside and the mango salad added the perfect touch of flavor. Pad Thai was good, what I would expect it to taste like. The crying tiger was tender and cooked perfect medium rare. However, it was very BLAND overall, especially the fried rice and pad sew. We also got the yellow curry which was very light, not much depth to it. Also, the water cups were metal so there was a metallic taste to the water in my opinion. Let me start off with... everyone was friendly; BUT there are things that needs to be improved. Our server lady was nice and smiley, very inviting.... But her service wasn't attentive.... I had to flag her down multiple times and for a long time and the other server noticed and came to take over for her multiple times.. Well I've been coming here for 14+ years. I went last night and I'll never be back. My order is always the same. It's always the same price. Except til now. In one week, my price went up $14. And when I asked for a side of sauce, (when it's always included) it was another $2.50. I asked but they said it's all the same. Sad. When I got home my cashew chicken had no sauce. I came on a Monday during lunch at opening time. i Saw that they have updated their menu as well as having a happy hour menu. I opted for the regular entree, I was deciding between the pad thai and street style pad thai, the waitress told me the pad thai was more like ketchup while the street style pad thai was more traditional with tamarind sauce, and has more of a tangy sauce. I opted for the street style pad thai with chicken n shrimp. The street style pad thai portion size was good, lots of tofu and good amount of chicken and 2 pieces of shrimp. It was saucy and wasn't dry, the pad thai flavor was definitely on the tangy side, personally preference I prefer my pad thai to be a bit more sweet, but still overall a solid Pad thai 4/5. I would want to come back and try the regular pad thai or even the happy hour menu during lunch time. read more

I am way over due to update my review. Have been coming here for years but not as much lately because the prices always go up and the portions always go down and unfortunately it's still true. However I had to come back because I haven't found any other restaurant that does their larb, spicy basil fried rice, and ong choy like this restaurant. Each item is flavored to perfection. I used to add more fish sauce but this time everything was perfect right off the plate. Everything came out fresh the on choy garlic and crunchy, their beef quality here beats all the other Thai restaurants beef quality I eat too and it shines in the larb and basil fried rice with tender beef that is so easy to chew. When I'm craving these 3 dishes I have to come here it's the only place I know with those 3 dishes the most flavorful. They have 5 levels of spice and I went with a 3 but definitely could go up to 4 next time. Service is great as always. Food comes out quickly. I placed an order at around 6:37pm and I was said the order would take around 25 min. I get there at 7:16 and the order still isn't ready which is fine I get it when a restaurant is busy. However, 10 min later I still didn't get my food. So I asked and then when the cashier went to check it, it was apparent the order was ready and had been sitting there. We recently ordered pickup from Thai Nakorn, and this is officially our second time getting food from here for my church friend's birthday -- so you already know she LOVES this place. And honestly... I'm becoming a fan myself! I am absolutely obsessed with their fried fish and that mango sauce. WOW. The flavor combo is insane -- crispy, sweet, tangy, everything you want in one bite. We took all the food back to her house for the little birthday dinner, and once again, nothing disappointed. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. This is one of those spots where you can tell the food is made with care. Everything we've tried has been delicious, and I love that I get to explore new flavors each time. This use to be our favorite Thai restaurant, but after today, I don't think we'll ever be back again. We ordered a pad see ew, beef and it was just straight ewwwww (nasty). There was a weird sour taste to the noodles which tells me none of the ingredients were fresh. This place definitely has no standards to let food go out sour like this. We drove 8 miles out of the way to support our old favorite restaurant, but now we know not to come back. I pray that we don't get a stomach ache, I only had a bite and threw the rest away. This place is a hidden gem that has authentic Thai food with affordable price. And ever since I found this place, it has been my and my family's go-to spot for the past few years. I have taken many of my friend groups here and now this has become their favorite Thai place as well. Their price has always been super reasonable and food has always been really amazing. Staff have been always incredibly fast and kind. This restaurant feels very homey and family-friendly. They recently made a new menu with (inflation) adjusted prices. My favorite dish- pompano fish- has gone up by $10!!! And we ordered mango with sticky rice, which was $15- more expensive than Pad Thai.... It's just a little sad how inflation has forced this place to increase the price this much... and now I don't know if I can proudly bring my friends to this place. The yellow chicken curry is flavorful with tender chicken, and the pad Thai and pad see ew are good. They have a lunch special menu that is available when dining in on weekdays from 11am-2:30pm.
