I think I just ate the best Mexican food of my life. This is a small, unassuming restaurant with big flavor. I ordered the puerco con nopales with eggs on top. SOOOO good! The spice level is a nice warm burn that fades quickly, so if you don't think you do heat well, I recommend atleast asking for a sample to test your tolerance. The flavor is so good, it's worth it. Smoky and delicious. I could go on and on. Skip the Americanized chain places and get some real food. Our family stopped by for lunch during a road trip and we were super impressed! Our server was friendly and very helpful in helping us select the perfect dish for our individual tastes. Food was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! We licked our plates clean. Our party had the red chile tamales, carne asada burrito, carne asada quesadilla, and al pastor tacos. We stopped by because the McDonald's restroom was "closed". We went over to use theirs and we wanted to get just a small bite of food. The gentleman working there was very kind and accommodating to my wife who is a vegetarian. He made her this gigantic veggie torta to die for and I got a shredded beef and green Chile burrito. Deeeeee-licious!!!!! What a great little place. Friendly, clean and welcoming. They didn't have to let us use their restrooms but he did. Kindness goes a long way in my book. Wow! In our travels from San Antonio Texas to Las Vegas Nevada we found this gem! Authentic for sure! One of the best! The tortillas were homemade thick and flaky. OMG I found a jewel in Deming!! Phenomenal food. I tend to avoid stopping by interstate restaurants but the food was hit, fresh and delicious and the service was phenomenal. The motif reflects the Mexican heritage I'd expect. We all had different dishes and we all raved about our selection. The tacos the best I ever had. The chili relleno was over the top. The restaurant is super clean. Ditto for the bathrooms. Anyone passing by Deming must stop in. read more

I don't write many reviews , but I felt compelled to write this one. Let me first say the food was fantastic. I had the Burrito House special with Green sauce... excellent! But what compelled me to write this review was for their customer service. As I was paying for my food, I asked if they new of a good mechanic in town because my check engine light came on after a long drive from San Antonio. This family owned business went out of their way to make some calls and help me find and actually talk to a mechanic on the phone. Wow! I was very impressed with their willingness to help their customers. Great food and great service! read more

We camped at nearby Rock Hound State Park and were looking for a local Mexican Restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed a terrific meal! I ordered Chicken Flautas and my husband had the Chicken Tacos. The owners use the freshest of ingredients! Yum!! The bed of greens and tomatoes were fresh. Homemade tortillas used for both dishes. Freshly made to order guacamole. The food was pretty good but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The cook is very rude and will hang up the phone in your face. I had called about my order and he started screaming saying he didn't have time. I asked to talk to the girl in the front who I had originally spoke to and he refused. I had to wait almost two hours for my food and it was cold. They need to get better staff. Not that thrilled. I am a native Arizonan and have had Mexican food in AZ. I have eaten Mexican food all over the country while traveling. The visit here was disappointing.The chips were stale. Our meals weren't that great. I had the taco salad. The beef was not drained after cooking so the grease was in my burned taco bowl. The lettuce was not good. My husband had the green chili burritos and was not happy with them either. He didn't like the beans. All 3 of my kids barely ate their dishes. We won't be coming back here. They make a good effort though for a very small town. read more

They charged a bunch extra to modify our dishes to meet our requests without telling us in advance- the scene at the register was like "how much should we charge them?" And, it felt like too much given the tiny portion I got. I ordered an entree salad with meat and it was no bigger than a small side item. I left hungry- and didn't have the time to fix that hunger for a while. First off I was the only one in the place, I ordered huevos rancheros very common easy mexican dish (you think) Nothing is fresh everything comes from a can or freezer all I kept hearing waiting for my food was the microwave dinging. The food that came from the grill was way way under cooked had to send back twice (I don't send food back ever) then I had to ask for my tort and salsa and when I got the bill they changed for the tort and salsa. (That's like charging for a lime with a corona beer WTF.) Anyway don't waste your time and or money 14 dollars for a 7 dollar breakfast is BS, go elsewhere much better food in town. read more

Passing through Deming with my boyfriend on our way to Hatch, and stopped at McDonald's for a quick breakfast. Saw this little place next door and decided to trash our Egg McMuffins and try something local instead. Hands down, these were the best breakfast burritos we've both ever had (and we're kind of breakfast burrito pros, so that's saying something).
