I had my eyebrows done over 2 months ago and still super satisfied - did not need to have the free touch up. Everyone I point out that they are embroidered remarks on "How Natural they look". I went back to get the eyeliner done which was a little pinchy pinchy because the area is more sensitive but again I was pleased with the results. I am going back for a touch up only because we were starting thinner and then going thicker once it healed. The short term discomfort is definitely worth the long term results. I love waking up in the morning and looking lovely and feeling pretty and isn't that what every woman wants!!!!! I also used the Groupon. It was a very good experience. Pro: the massage part (for my neck and shoulders) was definitely my favorite! she did more than I have experienced at other facial places. a different girl worked on my mani/pedi and did a good job. I liked the scrub part of my pedicure. Con: the lights in the waiting area and nail room are way too hot and bright! luckily they are not in the facial rooms. I wish there was a private area for people to relax after their facial. some guy on the street was peering into the waiting area and just checking out the ladies. yuck! she offered me the package for the Diamond Peel Facial but i wasn't too hot about the price but i asked how long I had to think about it. that's when she offered me the Deep Cleansing package promo which was similar but Diamond Peel would be replaced with extractions and everything else would be the same. I went for that one instead since I felt i needed the extraction more than the peel and it was cheaper to boot. no expiration for the package either so I can use my 10 pack however long it takes since I don't go very often. read more

I have been having recurring backaches for years. One day there is pain. Then it's gone. And suddenly it's back again. But once he started working, he told me what he was going to do. And then he started pressing his fingers on my back, and, hitting all the acupressure points. He also used some unusual techniques for my feet, back, neck, shoulders and legs. And as he worked I could feel that he was making a difference. My old friend was right. I felt like a completely a different person when I walk out of the spa. When my old friend called me to find out the results of my visit and asked if she could book an appointment for a men's facial for me, I said "It's not necessary. I actually purchased a Full Service package myself right after my first visit." I am not a narcissist. Relaxation of tension and stress is a matter of self-worth and health. I went with the Groupon like many others, so my expectations were appropriately set. The facial rooms were fine. The music was relaxing and the bed felt clean although it wasn't terribly comfortable. She spent the full 75 minutes and the facial felt great. The mani/pedi was fairly standard for your run of the mill NYC nail salon. One of my biggest pet peeves though is when the fans for drying don't work very well. After 15/20 min I still needed quik dry and then I had to go back to get one fixed. Also, as other people mentioned, they only have 2 manicurists so I had to wait 20 min after my facial. No sales pitch and everyone was very nice. Overall, worth the $65 but definitely wouldn't be worth the $200+ as it was originally priced. read more

I GIVE IT 0 STAR I had a bad experience. From my experience, this is the worst one. I had my eyebrows done and the lady there waxed off a chuck by mistake. Now i have a hole. On one of my eye brows. I confronted it to her and she made it seem like it's normal and was suggesting that I tattoo my eyebrow. What the heck was that. Oh her name is Michelle. My friend did a facial there and it seems like they did it too fast. At other spas. It's at least an hour and 1/2 or 2 hours. Oh yeah it's pretty pricy too. The facials I usually get for the package it would be 1/3 the cost. They really jack up the price here. The staff are not friendly either. You can get a facial without a membership but of course it would cost more than getting the membership. Oh yeah. The $30 gift certificate is for facials or if you want to get like a permanent hair removals or some other stuff but pretty much it's the stuff that's $75 over more for the service. I went to La Peau to have my eyebrows tattooed. My technician is a very pretty, friendly woman who helped "design" my eyebrows based on my face shape. I came out looking amazing. AMAZING. She made my face look prettier than it ever has. The price tag was $700 and then they made me buy a tiny pot of unguent (?) for $50, which was quite annoying. Anyway, I used it the way they told me to and followed all directions to keep my eyebrows in tiptop shape during the two week healing process. They looked amazing at week 1 and 2. The downside was that I had to come back a month later for a free touch-up as the eyebrow tattoo faded almost entirely. Then they faded a lot again, although not entirely, within another month. I hear this is normal and that touchups are often necessary, but for the price tag I simply can't afford it. Now, about a year later the eyebrows have not faded much more-- but they are quite faint. No one would know I had had it done. I'm glad I did it but I definitely have to get a touchup. Hopefully somewhere cheaper that is as good as La Peau at "designing." read more

The mani/pedi was nothing really special, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 75 minute facial. I got exfoliated with the wand, a few masks/scrubs and lots of steam. Relaxed.... I did get the sales pitch at the end; they offered me the same diamond peel facial for $50 (which is the same deal they are running this week for Spa Week) I purchased one - which will not expire. I'm not sure who pays their listed price, because there is no way it was worth $170, but for $50 I am happy. More like a 3.5 star than a 4, but my skin feels great so I'll round up. read more

I was referred to Michelle from a friend, and I have become a repeat customer here since. I go to Michelle almost every 1-2 weeks for a facial. She has helped my acne-scarred and still acne-prone skin become smoother, radiant, and under control. The facials start with a cleansing, then followed by a mask, steaming, a massage which is so relaxing, then extractions. I have to say the extractions are quite painful, but they are very effective so I can't complain. After the extractions, Michelle uses a laser to zap my acne-prone skin. The facial ends with another mask and Michelle applies a cream afterwards. I always leave here feeling refreshed. The atmosphere is very soothing and tranquil. Most of the time there's nice music playing in each room and there's always a clean robe and chair/bed. The staff are also always welcoming. Definitely recommend! read more

Best of all, I got my eyebrows micro-bladed. You see, my eyebrows are very light (almost nonexistent from faraway). For the longest time, I wanted to do something about it, but I was always afraid of getting them micro-bladed because if the result didn't come out the way I wanted, I'd be stuck with them for a long time. But the owner, Miss Everlyn Ho, is extremely good at what she does. She pays attention to the minutiae of detail (the texture of each eyebrow hair) without losing focus of the big picture (the shape of the eyebrow). I got a facial here the other day with Emma. Service was great and she walked me through the entire process and told me exactly what she was doing next. She was very attentive and asked me questions to learn more about my skin so she can use the right products for my face. Went for a semi permanent eyeliner tattoo procedure last year. I doubt if I will use them again. I feel they're a little over priced because of their beauty pageant connections. My aunt did her brows and liners too and she gave the same feedbacks. The price is def not in a direct correlation with their tattoo expertise. I had a lil smudge and the line was not smooth!!! It is not a major damage but I don't think I would use her again on my next touch up when I need one a year or two later. Also I felt they were pushy in asking you to purchase their other products. DO NOT go here!! I came in to askif they do eye brow wax. They said yes and the lady that was taking me to the room literally asked me "it's your first time here right? Do you know the price?" To me that was a flag. Then the lady had me wait on a couch upstairs and I decided to look at their brochure to make sure they don't over charge me. It said $12, which I was willing to pay. Then while I'm waiting, they said that the wax would take time to heat up and asked how much I wanted to pay for shaping and trimming. I said "well isn't that all included in the price. also, how much is is it for the wax?" She tells me $18!!!!! I said what??? Then I said the brochure only said $12 and she said oh ok yeah that's fine $12 is fine. I was skeptical but I just wanted to get it over with. Then she brings out another lady and asks me to go to a different room. The lady starts plucking my eyebrows and I said "you're doing the wax right?" She told me no. So that was it for me. I got up and went downstairs to call out the two ladies for purposely trying to charge me more and for trying to charge me $12 to pluck my eyebrows, which isn't what I asked for. She tried to say no no $12 is fine. The I said, then why are you trying to charge me more? She didn't know what to say and tried to make up ange excuse for the $18 and i said, on where does it say $18 anywhere? Why that price? She tried to say no $12 is ok and then touched me to try to get me back into the store. I obviously told her no and left. I understand that businesses are struggling due to COVID but this was clearly a scam and they targeted me. It is completely inexcusable and it was a terrible experience. read more

Can't believe my belly became smaller immediately after the cool sculpting. Regarding facial, I do facial a lot. I choose the environment of the spa place and the facial mask the most. La Peau Day Spa is perfect in these aspects. The room is so fancy. The bed is clean and romantic with some roses on it. And the mask as well as the LED light in the end is better than my daily mask. So the location surprised me, and the inside looks a bit messy and cluttered with people sort of side by side getting their treatments done. I was sort of shuffled into a makeshift little room for my facial. The foot rub was just ok, but I am pretty picky with massages and like a deeper massage when I get one. I also thought my facial was a bit too aggressive for the extractions portion of it. My face was super super red for weeks afterwards. I did enjoy the face massage with her fingertips, which was thorough and soothing. At the end they tried upselling me very expensive facials that to me I didn't think I needed. Purchased a 3 pack facia special from Groupon and visited for the first time last week. The price was reasonable. I paid for microdermabrasion and also received an extraction and hydrating mask. My esthetician was Tina and she did a phenomenal job. She explained every step and every product she was using on my face. I would not recommend trying to get a quick facial on your lunch hour. I was there for almost 2 hours but it was so worth it. Tina took her time and was extremely thorough with my services. The receptionists were also very kind upon entering. Beverages are offered while you wait. The rooms are vey neat and sanitized. The music is relaxing and the beds are comfortable. I want so relaxed I almost fell asleep. With that being said every time I have a performance I must get my makeup done for pictures and events and I must say Everlyn always makes me look on point! She has a make up company within the Spa called Make Up Rite and through that I get my makeup and all those services provided for me (Will be uploading some pictures of her work.)
