    Lambi with sauce

This place has been on my list for a very long time and boy it did not disappoint! The vibes, the decor, everything is on point! I was there with a Haitian friend and she recommended to try the Lambi (conch) with sauce. It came with salad, pickled cabbage and plantains. We also got a side of black rice and coconut shrimp to share. I also got a passion fruit juice. The food was 10/10, Haitian approved. The dishes were so flavourful and little on the spicy side. The food also came with many extra sides. Definitely will be back to try more of their menu!

Been meaning to come here for years now and finally had the chance and was so glad I did! Our server allowed us to get seated and brought us menus. The aesthetic there is very cute. The food was amazing! Yes, it is not fast food, but I wasn't not expecting it to be. The legume was so tasty, omg I cannot stop thinking about it. I can't wait to return next time.

The ambience ok. Very much Haitian Vibes Barely seated and never served. Never got to try the food because waited for 25 minutes after being told which table we could sit at. No one ever came to our table to take out order. Watched multiple people walk in after getting my friend and I who were welcomed.

Soooo we are the only ones in the store when we arrived excluding the 3 at the bar , we were a party of 5 the bill came to $249 and the lady did not want me to see it hummmm , anyways the food was good except the legume was crazy salty and one crab claw inside that we had to break ourselves ,,, the goat and turkey were plentiful and great the drinks were very small to be $20 each we had 4 ,,, the server was nice but not that attentive ,,, at least now we know what to expect ..... now we will order the goat and Turkey because we know that's good and most likely have drinks elsewhere,,, also gratuity was automatically added and they did not tell us this is something I had to see for myself on the bill then we split the check in two and it appeared like she added the $38 tip to each check like really ,,, I would recommend only take out from here

This is when I ate at the restaurant fresh and hot sos pwa black bean sauce rice and beans.

Best Haitian Food in the east coast. They greet you with kindness and have great customer service. The atmosphere is calm with a lot of cultural diversity and their wall art gives you a sense of the culture

Wonderful food! Wonderful atmosphere! Great customer service! My girlfriend had the Kabrit (Goat) and I had the Chicken in sauce with diri kolé. I also ordered some boulette (meatballs) and Accra! Loved the pikliz, everything was really good!

Had a great time at an event hosted at La Perle Restaurant. The food was delicious, and it was Haitian Caribbean cuisine. The server was attentive to my needs, swift replies and good vibes. Would come back when in the area. There is plenty of street parking that is metered and free after 6pm.

Recently I was craving seafood BIG TIME. As a native Mainer who has lived in the area now for over…read more15 years, it can be tough to find places that serve "traditional" lobster dinners. (Typically consist of steamers, lobster, a baked potato and some corn on the cob if you're lucky). My husband found Turner's while doing a search for a place that would come close to giving me what I was looking for, and they delivered! We started off with the steamers. They're to die for... so tender, no sand in the bellies, and the broth? OOH the broth. It's delectable. It adds flavor that complements the clams perfectly (doesn't overwhelm them at all). My hard shell lobster was incredibly delicious. I'm usually a soft shell gal, but I will take whatever is offered - as long as the meat isn't tough, I'm fine to do the extra work. (It's part of the fun). The tail was split, which is helpful for people who don't know their way around a lobster- for me, I'd prefer it whole, so that's the only (extremely small!) thing I'd change next time. My baked potato and carrots were tasty and the waitress was attentive, kind, and she also had a sense of humor. My husband and I had an awesome evening, and we will be back!

It's your basic Italian seafood place. There is a singular type of clientele inside, which tells you how your experience will go. We got tuna "tacos" (more like crudo) as appetizers. This was the best part of the night. The tuna was delicious. For our mains, I got the New England Bouillabaisse and my friend got a fish dish. The food was on the salty side, it's great to have this down the road instead of having to go down to north end. We ended the night with the flourless cake. Our server was very friendly! But the food was just ok. Drive a little farther and get some Mexico Lindo instead.

We were in a completely empty restaurant but they still managed to sit a very loud party right next to us. Ordered a glass of Cabernet- fairly decent pour. Salad dressing delicious- not crazy about the dark green top leaves from the romaine- this is the part I throw out- but definitely edible. My husbands fish was fresh - small portion, mashed potatoes starchy, veg was good - small portion. I had the haddock francase- tiny portion of fish- the sauce was delicious but saturated the 'breading' kind of wrecking it (maybe put the sauce on the side?). Risotto awful. Bread was freshly baked- the crusty part was good-inside seemed a little undercooked. That was my husband's birthday dinner.... Opted to stop at the local grocery store for desert- best thing we ate all day!

If you stick with the seafood, you're going to have a great meal. That said, keep in mind it is a seafood restaurant. They have chicken wings on the menu, we figured we'd get them to share until the food came out.. They were honestly terrible. The order we received came with six extremely small, overcooked pieces that were so dry and tough looking they weren't even edible. Just looking at them we didn't bother as they weren't at all appetizing. I'm not sure if it was a bad day, a supply issue, or something else entirely, but they were a complete miss. Speaking of, service can be hit or miss as well. This past weekend, we had a wonderful server who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The visit before that, however, was the exact opposite. Our server--who seemed to be either a manager or assistant manager--spent nearly all of his time chatting up a table of women, clearly trying to get phone numbers. Trying to get his attention for anything felt like a major inconvenience. What motivated me to write this today is that not only was the service good on our latest visit, but we also tried the fried seafood instead of the usual seafood boil--and it was absolutely excellent, and not at all expensive. Both the fried shrimp plate and the fried clam plate were outstanding. If you haven't tried their fried options, or not in the mood to put on gloves and dig into a seafood boil, don't sleep on their fried seafood. It was surprisingly impressive. Overall: great seafood, inconsistent service, avoid the wings entirely, and definitely give the fried dishes a try.
