We had to board our elderly dog, Willie, while traveling, and I was honestly really nervous. He has diabetes, pancreatitis, and is blind, so he's pretty fragile and requires extra care. But Barking Bubbles completely put my mind at ease. The staff was incredibly kind and treated him like the king he is. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals--they made sure he was comfortable, supported, and surrounded by calm, loving attention (even aromatherapy!). While he was there, we also had him bathed and finally got his much-needed nail trim done. Everything was handled with such patience and care. I'm so grateful we found Barking Bubbles. Amazing! These ladies does such great work! Highly skilled and excellent at their art. Brought the fur balls in to get haircut and grooming. They were turning into shaggy floor mops. I was able to make an appointment within a week with the lovely Jeanette. On the day of the appointment, Jeanette did a comprehensive interview to make sure she understood what kind of haircut I want it. Also asked a lot of great questions about their temperaments and passed grooming experience. I love how thorough she was and how organized as she took notes. A few hours later, I got to perfectly adorable, perfectly groomed fur balls with less fur. Woohoo! Impeccable service, great job. The whole shop was extremely clean, well organized, and very cute. Was looking for a groomer who would be able to groom my 6 month old yorkie who absolutely hates getting washed or blow dried he literally tries to bite/fight the water.. so I called to see what they would suggest as I didn't want to pay extra to get him groomed at his previous groomers. They said they have others ways to bath them not using the hose as he doesn't like the sound the water makes, he just went in for maintenance cleaning. It was clean place and decorated really cute the only issue was the parking I didn't see the back until after picking up my fur baby. When picking him up I asked a few questions and the employee was able to answer them all and was very knowledgeable. I struggled with weather or not I should write a review for this place because I felt like there was miscommunication on both ends, but after a couple days I felt like I should. I really wanted to like this place. The owner who contacted me to schedule the appointment was really sweet and I got a good vibe from her. When we went in for our appointment, the owner wasn't there but her daughter was. We showed her a picture of how we wanted our collie mix to look when she was done. We specifically said not to shave her because since she's a double coated dog, her coat will be damaged if she's shaved. I assumed this place knew that (good groomers should) and with the picture I showed her, I assumed they would use scissors to cut her. They let me know it would take about 2 hours and she'd be done. 3 1/2 hours later I still had no call from them...when I called to check in they said she'd be ready in 30 minutes. Ok- so it went from 2 hours to 4 hours? I wasn't too satisfied with their explanation they gave me either of why it look took so long, but whatever I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I showed up my poor dog was SHAVED. She looked absolutely miserable and hasn't been herself since she's come home (it's been 2 days). She's not really hanging out like she usually does and has chosen to hide in a dark hallway. This is VERY abnormal for her. She loves human interaction and is almost always glued to my side. On top of all that she keeps itching and scratching and she has developed a pretty bad rash and inflammation (see photo attached). I would not recommend this place despite how much I wanted to like it. We will not be returning. read more

My goodness, Jeanette is SUCH a sweetheart! I love that she talks to the clients and doesn't make it about money. She really values the customer service aspect of her job and it also doesn't hurt that the baths are cheap compared to other grooming places. My puppy Arlo REALLY HATES WATER but she's so good with him (very patient and loving) and she let me stay and watch how he does when getting bathed (he hates it still but she calms him down pretty well). My HEFITO comes out looking so handsome, he always has a business tie on when he comes out.. haha! and smells so clean, he stays smelling clean for awhile, I have taken him other places but NEVER again! (I hope I spelled that right) Ezekiel was the only one in the Salon Shop today so I wasn't able to meet Jeanette. But honestly I'm super glad I met Ezekiel. He was overall the best groomer ever for my puppy Chanel. He's super professional, even the way he talks is very respectful. He's very sweet and is super considerate on what you want your puppies haircut to look like. It was my puppies very first time getting her haircut, so he definitely guided me throughout the whole process. Overall, I loved my experience here and I LOVE that they require vaccinations for all puppies. Very clean and adorable place. And I loved the cute little closet of clothes that you could purchase from. I purchased a dress for my puppy and she looks super cute in it. My puppy was not only groomed so beautifully, but they even put a hair bow and a collar with a bow on her as well. She smelled AMAZING, I can't even explain how good she smelled. It was my first time taking my corgi, Logan, so she wanted to do a thorough consultation and let us take a mini tour of her doggie spa. She explained that she uses all natural organic products and the oils used for aromatherapy are dedicated to dogs. That's something I appreciate because harsh synthetic chemicals can be harmful to your dog. There are different packages available and she goes over what would be the most suitable. I chose the second package (I can't remember what it's called on her website haha) and I would have to say I have never seen Logan so clean!! He smelled amazing and the pads on his foot were so soft.
