Our server Marlon approached us and since it was our first time he explained the menu, brought us sparkling water and got our drink order. It was relatively busy so drinks took a bit to come. I loved the lighting and how romantic the dinner was. The salad bar was delicious. As soon as we had our little yes/ no circle for meat the other servers approached us offering different cuts. Marlon was kind enough to bring an order of mashed potatoes. As the night progressed and we ate enough to fill a butcher shop, we noticed Marlon continued being sat. He came by after a while and we let him know we wanted dessert but to go. After 15 min and no sign of Marlon we no longer wanted dessert, it was 10:30pm and we had the itis. Another server approached us and asked if everything was okay, we let him know we were ready for the check. He offered a complimentary dessert since we had waited so long. Upon telling him we were waiting for a dessert already he told us he would check on it for us. Marlon was yet again sat, but he approached us and apologized for the wait. We told him no worries and that the other server was checking on the status of the dessert. We finally paid and said goodnight. I'd come back again just because it wasn't his fault as he already had us, and two other big tables before getting sat with two more parties.

I can't tell you how many times I had passed by this place and wondered if I'd ever go in there. I mean, I'm a huge fan of ethnic markets, especially during this pandemic, as they've tended to have products regular markets are out of. I mean, they were selling toilet paper and that's just one example! Going in, I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. I thought this place would be bigger. Still, no matter. I found what I came for: pão de queijo. Frozen perhaps, but I found it and I'm eternally grateful. In Miami (at least that I know of), there doesn't seem to be a lot of Brazilian markets, as they all seem to conglomerate further north in Boca Raton, so again very grateful. I'm not sure what the norm is for Brazilian markets, but I found this one a bit cold. Not in temperature but in the staff. The man at the cashier seemed very to the point and I have no idea if it's due to these times or if he's just naturally that way. It was a bit off-putting to be honest. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to make it (perhaps with some picanha?). I'll have to return to this place to see if my opinion changes on a second go-around.

We had a great experience considering it was a very busy night, we went the day before Mother's Day and our food did not take an unreasonable amount of time and the quality was top. We ordered a piña colada and an old fashioned to begin, the manchego croquetas for an appetizer, and we both got the t-bone. The croquetas is our favorite appetizer, they are always super yummy and come with a guava sauce. The t-bone was very juicy and cooked to perfection, we ordered it medium. The sides were very fresh as well, we got sweet plantains, mash potatoes, fried yucca and tostones. We had a great experience over all, definitely recommend and will be going back.

The table was also wobbly but she fixed it. The soup was burnt. How does that happen? There wasn't any leafy salad on the salad bar except for coleslaw. The meat was okay. The steak was the best one for flavor. The pork was good too. The bacon wrapped chicken was dry. Felt like it was a bait and switch...they said they couldn't process the Groupon and said to ask Groupon for a refund. This way they were able to charge full price instead of a discount. They even charged an 18% tip automatically. When they close the tab it asks for another tip. Management should compensate for the Groupon discount as offered if they were reputable.

Truth be told, I keep coming back here for the Pastel de Nata (little custard pies) that are seriously addicting. They're crispy, silky smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness. That's really all I came here for, but check out what I ended up leaving with in my picture. The assortment in the box included 4 Custard Pies, 1 pistachio buttercream field sweetbread crescent, 1 Nutella filed sweetbread, 4 fried and stuffed pockets that are croquette-like (stuffed with beef, salt cod, shrimp, or chicken). They also had ham that I didn't get. All were very crispy and had well-seasoned meats. I also got the cheese bread balls. Those need to be warmed up for best results. The staff here is very friendly and full of smiles. Great way to start the morning!
