Our entree was the churrasco and sides are à la carte. We ordered the truffle fries, creamed spinach and scallop potatoes. Everything was delicious. The potatoes weren't my favorite. The food was delicious my favorite part was that everything came out piping hot it's a pet peeve for me when my food doesn't arrives to the table hot. Even the bread was steaming. I tried recording it but can't really tell lol. My salmon was perfection the crispy top yet cooked to perfection inside. My husband had a skirt steak and he said it was delicious. For our entrees she ordered the risotto fruto de mar. The seafood was fresh, large, and perfectly done. The risotto was creamy with the perfect texture. We were looking for a spot to eat in Doral and Manny's showed up on the Yelp app. Looked at the menu and the pics provided and it looked amazing. When we arrived, we took a look at the menu they have posted outside and All the prices shown were escalated from the menu ones shown on the Yelp app. We are talking about the Chilean sea bass from $37 listed to $50 and the ribeye from $29 to $55 now on the menu at the restaurant. And all are accompanied with just vegetables. Sides are all a la carte. I'm not one to usually complain about pricing but I feel like it was just way overpriced, especially since we had come in expecting something else. Plus the fish selection was just a salmon or seabass. Not many options. Perhaps the food tastes amazing but for these prices I mean you are located in a strip mall in Doral. If I could give Manny's 10 stars I would! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, our experience was exceptional! The owner immediately greeted us and checked on us several times. Upon entrance, I was Wow'd by very tall ceilings, which made the very small space feel bigger which was a plus for me. I ordered a Veal Chop and asked for it to be Medium Medium, but they did not listen attentively and got me a super rare pink piece of meat uncooked and raw and unappealing. I spent $57 on that piece of uncooked veal plus coffee which they did not have half and half, and I setteled for milk. Coffee was cold and bitter! I asked for baked potatoes which they also did not have. Despite so many types of steaks, No Baked or fried potatoes to go with it!!!.only mashed potatoes or choice of vegetables!!! not even both as sides!!!Their bread was delicious but they only gave me two small pieces and showed me an attitude when I asked for more. Then came the bill, The head server had automatically filled out the tip line as 18% which was $10.65 cents. although I had thus far received lousy service and undercooked or uncooked products, I was going to tip a lot more, just because of tall ceilings, but it angered me that he gave himself permission to decide for me how much I did or did not enjoy their restaurant and he was judging themselves to deserve 18%. I called him over and told him that in this country, the Industry of Restaurant standards is that customers less than group of six, are not required to pay tips, but tips are appreciated. He told me about a customer that he had yesterday who's bill was $99.99and he left one penny for him as a tip! Well, the Vibe there is that they all are prentending that they are this super classy Restaurant with top of the line food and service, but because of too much attitude, they actually lose the right tempo of focusing on actual service. The owner appeared as a nice gentleman, but he was an older gentelman and he should not be the one taking customers orders. he may not hear well or may not be able to focus well. While the young waiter was circuling arund tables without really doing anything, the owner felt that he had to micro-manage taking every order. While I appreciate his caring and his hard work, he needs to deligate more to his staff and train them in actual customer service, rather than everyone walking around with the chip on their shoulder and giving off the Vibe of "Show off", all at the same time, they are blowing your dinner due to mismanagement or the waiters are so bloated with ego, and unnessary false pride, that thier focus is to "gouge" custoemers, even adding their own tips. I told them that was illegal and immoral. when I confronted the head-waiter, he said there are several restaurants in the area that he knows, that the servers fill out the tip themselves. I said that is only for groups of 6 or more, because groups do require more service from the Restaurant. Some even charge a 15% Service Charge, which goes to the house for additional issues that the restaurant owner has to deal with. Only this is justified for groups of six or more that they can charge 18% gratuity. but servers can never take the control of tip from the consumer. This place had mostly businessmen who obviously busy talking about business when they come in. I only saw one woman there and about 28 men in business suit. perhaps they need more woman who are more detail oriented to improve their customer experience! Overall, I could say that the Restaurant's Chef knows how to cook, but is just rushing the orders perhaps! The staff was rushing to get me in and out quickly which I also did not like. but this restaurant can be run better perhaps with some better managment that needs to be asking the staff to take orders and staff must work harder to not mess up the service and ruining someone's dinner experience. read more

Manny Woodgrill is a great hidden steakhouse that offers a variety of choices that will satisfy any craving. The desserts were a must-order (together) as they were perfectly paired. Ask for the lava cake to be cooked less as they tend to cook it over. The chicken Caesar salad is one of my favorite salads (I am a Caesar girl), and I always ask for extra dressing on the side. The sauce has notes of garlic in it, very delicious. The beef carpaccio has seen better days, and I was not necessarily fond of this dish. I would not order it again. The lobster bisque was your average bisque, and the veal was tasty. Ordering the mushroom risotto alongside it is recommended, and the risotto is delicious! The unnamed dish is a dish I am not too fond of; however, if eaten with chimichurri, lemon, and buttered bread, it is great! Found this gem whilst searching for a restaurant to take my mother for her birthday. It's located in a shopping plaza in Doral. The restaurant is small and intimate; although the night we went, it appeared to be full and busy. We had the parriallada, New York steak, and seafood risotto - ALL were delicious! The desserts we had, godiva cake with ice cream and pistachio creme brûlée, were mouth watering. I'm glad we came across this restaurant and I highly recommend it!
