I wanted to wait until my vacation finished to review this restaurant as I want to take my time with the review. First of all wow! I need them to open a franchise in NYC or NJ because just wow. Our server was Jordi. And when I say he was amazing, he was absolutely the best. He explained every different type of meat selection they had and gave us suggestions. He explained why we should get one or another with details. He explained the drinks and gave us great suggestions I got the Gran Via and it was very refreshing. My girl got the Mango Bajito and it was very yummy felt like real mango too! Now the cut we chose was Denver Wagyu and just wow omg line I love steak lol and we always have different types of steak every where we go but the way that steak melted in my mouth! Just wow. We got it medium and it was perfectly cooked. I would take a trip to Miami just to have that cut again We got the Caesar salad. In my opinion it had too much sauce but it was great either way lol. Now I don't normally eat mashed potatoes but wow theirs was so yummy and soft lol tasted like butter! If there's anything I want you to do after reading this, is make your reservation lol Our bill was $194 and yes we also got the pineapple dessert. It was yummy. I love crème brulee. It wasn't crème brulee per se but it was ice cream with the burned sugar on top. Super good too. And refreshing. We left an extra $30 for Jordi although service charge is included. Yes he was that good! I will take a flight just to come eat here. I would give it 100 stars if I could. We truly enjoyed our lunch at Carnicero! The decor is super cool... Initially we had some trouble with the server assigned to our table (Fabian) as he wasn't friendly and will answer rude to questions but after some time he mentioned he was leaving a new server came (ENRIQUE) and oh what a difference, he was nice, great service and made us feel welcomed. Also the hostess and the other guys helping at the table were very nice and helpful. Now for the BEST part, the FOOOOOOD! The menu is very nice, great prices (specially for a steakhouse) and lots of options... we loved everything we tried from appetizers (yummy croquetas), the carnicero board was a hit too and I was surprised with the chicken cause it was DELICIOUS and to end the desserts were outstanding not only how they look but the combination of flavors... Decided to check this place out for Mother's Day and brought my mom here while we were in the area. I'm not from around here, but after reading so many positive reviews, this place really stood out to me and I'm glad we gave it a try. First off, the red sangria was delicious and the perfect way to start the meal. The whole restaurant gives you that upscale/fancy steakhouse vibe, but without the crazy expensive prices you'd normally expect from a place that looks this nice. For my entree, I had the grilled chicken breast with arroz moro and a side of fried yuca, and everything was flavorful and cooked really well. Service was also great. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in on us. Also... he was VERY handsome lol. Completely irrelevant to the review, but I felt it deserved an honorable mention. All their drinks are delicious and everything honestly for the quality and the price is really reasonable. The croquetas were delicious, creamy and cheese on the inside. The sauce on top added a nice sweetness. When ordering we asked for the side dishes to be well done or crispy, the fries were good but the fries yuca was not crispy and lacked salt. The tabla carnicero was great! The NY strip was buttery and the picanha was perfectly cooked. Loved the chorizo, however the pork tenderloin was dry. We went on my Birthday night , with our company Christmas party of 50ppl. We had called & emailed the restaurant in advanced & ask for the upper section that is a semi private room. We arrived at 7pm and waited for them to seat us. After 2 hours of waiting at the bar ordering drinks & appetizers. The restaurant management said that they were unprepared for us, so they the Cancelero restaurant said they were now canceling our parties reservation. This was shocking !!! after waiting so long and patiently, to be turned away. From drinks to the apps to entrees and dessert... Everything was made with love! Everything was so flavorful, high quality meats, packed with deliciousness. For apps we had beef carpaccio, tambon papa, and the ceviche. Everything was delicious but some said the ceviche was too salty. My fave was the beef carpaccio. We were here on a Sunday night before leaving on a cruise. We were leary about a steak place in a strip mall, but there wasn't much else open. We were surprised to find a 30-40 minute wait when we arrived. We ended up sitting at the bar for dinner, and I feel like it was the best spot! Dinner and a show because it's an open kitchen type atmosphere AND the bartenders crafting the cocktails was so much fun to watch! I feel like the staff was busy and working non-stop and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. Javier was our bartender/server and was great! I love this place! The atmosphere, the service and food are all exceptional. The only thing was where they sat us. We were party of six and they placed us by the door and hostess. We asked for a round table but they said it was for 8? The food was fantastic. Everyone in my party had some kind of steak, I had half an order of the roasted chicken which was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The yuca fries were some of the best I ever had. Mixed experience at Carnicero Miami. Before booking, I called to ask about the dress code and was told it was relaxed. However, when we arrived, one of my guests was required to wear long sleeves to enter. In 2026, dress code policies like this feel outdated, especially when they seem to apply differently to men and women. The staff was friendly, but service was slow. The restaurant was also very smoky, suggesting the ventilation could be improved. With only two restrooms for the entire restaurant, there was almost always a line. The presentation and taste of the food has been very consistent, rivals some of the more expensive restaurants. My meal was prepared incredibly well, good portion, and was delicious. This restaurant was a hidden gem in my neighborhood. As soon as you walk in, it has this classy atmosphere. They specialize in Spaniard cuisine. Found this steakhouse on Resy, made a reservation for a Thursday at 9pm. When we walked in it took 5-10 minutes to get table. It was very busy for a Thursday night, almost every table was taken and people waiting to be seated. The decor is beautiful but i am not sure why it is SO LOUD in here, probably the pounds restaurant i've ever been to, the music is also club music, reggaeton, cubaton, bar music, i was very thrown off by that. Plus people screaming and kids crying. Service was great, Rene took care of us, he was attentive, recommended some plates and took great care of us all night. Food was good/ average. We had the picanha, potatoes, yuca and moro. I ordered mine medium well and got a well done steak, dry and chewy the potatoes were dry and cold. When i told Rene he immediately took care of it, he brought me a new steak with mashed potatoes which was wayyyyyyy better. The drinks were really good, I had a passion fruit margarita and it was yummy. It was going to be a 3 star if it was not for Rene who saved the night with his great service. I'll start with the good: the steak, croquetas, and dessert were absolutely worth the calories. The 16oz Wagyu NY Strip was cooked with precision, and the crust to fat ratio made every bite land. The croquetas had that ideal crisp-to-creamy balance, and the piña catalana was a tropical twist on a classic dessert that actually worked its light, not too sweet, and a nice finish to a heavy meal. That said, not everything was a hit. From the appetizer spread, wagyu carpaccio, fritura de malanga, tamal en hoja, garbanzo fritos, and panadero service, only a couple really stood out. The rest felt more like filler than features. Sides like Moro rice, yuca fries, and papas asadas were fine but didn't add much value or excitement. A lot of it looked better on the menu than it tasted in real life. Service was attentive and friendly, but the table situation was a bit of a buzzkill. We were tucked into a cramped spot that made us feel like we were always in the server's way or someone else's conversation. Overall, Carnicero has solid dishes and good vibes, but the experience didn't quite justify the final bill.
