It really pains my to write this review because I have been to fogo de chao many many times, and my entire family being from the south of Brasil knows good churrasco and we always claimed fogo de chao to be the best of the best. However I feel like this has changed. Last time I visited this location was 2 years ago when it first opened and while the service was poor, the food and atmosphere were great. Since then I have visited other locations including the south beach one where the food and service were tremendous. Tonight, the coral gables location fell soooo short. Like other reviews mentioned, when we arrived we had to wait for a table even though we had a reservation and there were plenty of open tables for two available. Our service started out ok with our server but by the end of the night had disappeared. ALL of the food was cold, from the beans and rice at the salad bar to the meat and mashed potatoes. It was not at all a true representation of Brazilian meat. The meat quality has gone down so much in recent years, it was unrecognizable to me this visit. So many of the cuts were tough and chewy. By the end of the meal we were ready to leave and it was like a ghost town, you could not find a single wait staff in sight to ask for the check. Honestly for the price, it was such a bizarre end to a mediocre dining experience. The only reason I'm giving it more than two stars is because it was clean, the pao de quiejo was good and the salad bar was up to par, besides that they have a lot of improving to do or they will start to lose loyal customers.

Came for happy hour and there's some really good options. Would love if they could include a leafy salad on there though. Overall ok experience. Wouldn't get the spinach dip again but wanted it since they didn't have a salad. The steak was good but some parts were a bit burnt and chewy. We ordered the chicken sliders but I didn't eat it but my friend liked it. Would come again to try their all you can eat menu and see if that is better.

All day happy hour! At the bar & patio. Julia took care of us and she was amazing!! Drinks and food were delicious. Great spot for happy hour.

Delicious food, with phenomenal service and let me tell you the water never touched the bottom of my glass so you know the service was great!!! Haha. We ordered the $68/person Churrasco Experiance which brings all the cuts of meat (except the waygu that's a separate menu and price). The salad bar and hot bar is all included. Everything was fresh and was very delicious. Fogo de Chao is a bit on the pricer side but it's very nice for a night out and you will always receive 5-star service and quality. They do offer valet parking for $25 on the weekends. Ambience was very modern and large! Highly recommend to anyone! ^.^

Still some of the best deals that you'll find in the area. Aside from their burger, they offer high end cuts if you opt for the full churrasco experience. They also have a unique rewards club that will earn you a tasty app rather quickly.

Normally I'd have given a fantastic review because the food was very good, the "serving" part of the service was tremendous (you'll see what I mean by this later), and the atmosphere was terrific. $25 for valet parking pre-tip, very convenient. However, we had several problems which offset the positives. #1, we had a reservation, were there well before time, and they kept telling us it would be a long wait, more than 30-40 minutes. We can see a table right there in front of us, fully set and open. They claimed it was reserved for another party. What? That other party is not even here and we are, plus WE have reservations too. We weren't the only ones. Two other parties had reservations and were not seated either. And they were before us. It was chaos, not knowing who to talk to, getting the run-around. People raising their voices trying to get served. And just when you think you find someone to help you, they say they need to talk to the host. So where's the host? Nowhere to be found. Finally saw him and chased him down in the back and followed him everywhere till he eventually gave us the aforementioned table. Once seated it vastly improved, although it was a bit confusing because we had two waiters and they asked the same thing at different times. I told the 2nd guy we ordered wine from the 1st guy but he said he didn't see it in the system. But then the wine came. Finally they explained they are a team and we can talk to either waiter. Kind of a smug, condescending 'tude. Okaaaay. Once the food started flowing it was all good. Meats came fast; food was great. I highly recommend the garlic picanha. So good. Regular picanha also good. Same with most of the other steaks. Other meats were a litle overdone for me, like bacon-wrapped steak. And the salad bar was good. The meat servers really serve you well. Also asked for some grilled pineapple beacuse it never came to us and they gave an entire plateful. Very nice. And then came the bill. It was as expected but when they brought the check to sign, my credit card wasn't with it. I asked them for it and we looked all over the table and the waiter stand. Minutes later the 2nd waiter tells me his boss had it in his pocket and brings it to me. Huh? Anyway, I'm willing to bet this place is normally better than this. I'll chalk it up to a busy, busy Friday night. Unfortunately, my mind was on all the other stuff and I didn't take any food pics.

Fogo de Chão is probably the best Brazilian churrasquería because of the quality of both the service and the food. They also offer different options in case you don't want the full churrasco experience. Ask about the single cut-- I chose the picanha and it was delicious for a very good price. The wine selection is also solid; try Luigi Bosca, it won't disappoint. Is perfect for group of friends and birthday celebrations.

Sergi and Manny is the best customer service experience I've ever experienced at any establishment. They kept checking on me for everything and not to mention the table was always clean. They went above and beyond to make this an expectational experience.I went to the Miami Beach Fogo de Chao and it was good but Coral gables was by far my favorite experience. The care and service you experienced is priceless. You can put a price on great people, service and food.

To start off...our reservation was for 8:15 pm and we didn't get sat until 8:50 pm. I think that is a bit late if you ask me. The food was good but it also took a while for the meat to come around. What bothered me was that at times we had to ask for some of the sides that are supposed to be brought to the table. For example; the cheese with honey (super yummy) and the plantains we had to request for them to be brought over. The reason behind not taking any pictures was because we waited an hour almost to be seated so I was starving by the time the food came around. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. I love the concept of being able to walk right over to the salad bar and pile up my plate with veggies, cheeses and salads. The service for bringing the meats around was great. They come around for the majority of the dining experience and you have to turn a card from green to red. Green signifies "yes, please" while red signifies "no thanks". The picahna was delicious! I truly enjoyed the fried polenta...it could've used a dipping sauce imo. The candied bacon from the salad bar was a huge hit! The espresso martini was a bit strong...could've used more espresso. I feel the experience was a bit rushed because they sat us down late and we were here close to closing. Maybe next time will be a bit better, less rushed.

I can't tell you how many times I had passed by this place and wondered if I'd ever go in there. I mean, I'm a huge fan of ethnic markets, especially during this pandemic, as they've tended to have products regular markets are out of. I mean, they were selling toilet paper and that's just one example! Going in, I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. I thought this place would be bigger. Still, no matter. I found what I came for: pão de queijo. Frozen perhaps, but I found it and I'm eternally grateful. In Miami (at least that I know of), there doesn't seem to be a lot of Brazilian markets, as they all seem to conglomerate further north in Boca Raton, so again very grateful. I'm not sure what the norm is for Brazilian markets, but I found this one a bit cold. Not in temperature but in the staff. The man at the cashier seemed very to the point and I have no idea if it's due to these times or if he's just naturally that way. It was a bit off-putting to be honest. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to make it (perhaps with some picanha?). I'll have to return to this place to see if my opinion changes on a second go-around.

Sightseeing Pass - Miami…read more After making a full round trip on The Big Bus tour from our starting point (Bayside Marketplace) we walked less than a mile (0.7) to Camila's Restaurant. It didn't seem that far of a walk but when you're under the hot sun and a humid February weather in Miami it was a long walk. Upon our arrival we checked in with the hostess and presented our Sightseeing Pass. No issues (unlike the Big Bus tour). She immediately showed us the buffet counter and said that drinks and desserts were included in the deal. Sweet!! We feasted our eyes on the home style Brazilian buffet offerings. I love Brazilian food! They had 14 types of salads but I skipped the salad bar and went straight for the real food LoL! There was chicken, fish, meats, lots of sides, natural juices and of course, delicious desserts. I'm not able to repeat the items on the buffet menu but everything I got on my plate was delectable. If we ever return to Miami I'm going straight here. The staff were friendly and amazing. They served/refilled the drinks and cleared our dirty plates from our table often. Our Sightseeing Pass gave us an All-You-Can-Eat buffet at Camilla's Restaurant, otherwise, buffet price per person is $27 (I asked a server) which is still not bad for an AYCE. If I can help even one person avoid the mistake of going to this place, then opening my yelp account just for the privilege of writing this review was worth it. First, all the staff lacked the confidence that you would expect from wait staff. Second, the cold bar was slim. It lacked the assorted items one would expect of a Brazilian themed restaurant; in fact, i might expect to find the same salad bar at a Pizza Hut. Most importantly, the meat was terrible. All the red meat was either over cooked or under cooked. These people apparantly don't have medium or medium rare as an option - whatsmore, they won't tell you because you have to discover that fact on your own by asking for it and being "yes'd" to death. Finally, the poor guy cutting the meat of of the sword lacked the confidence and skill to handle the cutlery well enough to cut appetizing portions. They were often oversized, uneven and simply not appetizing to observe while on the sword that he was cutting from. My wife pointed out that the signature dish, PICANHA, was poorly presented (but don't get me wrong - it was all poorly presented). It was not trimmed well - possibly the chef's mistake. The meat was greasy, had a terrible after taste. I was continually frustrated by the meat servers questions. He constantly asked what i wanted instead of showing it to me... i expect people in the business to know that people eat with their eyes - we like to see what we are choosing from. Still, if they had, i doubt that would have been an appetizing sight. The other meats, pork, chicken etc..., were ordinary.
