Very clean restaurant. Server was very friendly but was not super helpful with questions about the menu, seemed a bit like a language barrier. The food came out quickly and was very hot and fresh. My only negative would be that the chimichanga had very little red sauce and cheese sauce on top so it was a bit dry. The shredded chicken inside was very good but overall it definitely needed a bit more red sauce and cheese sauce. I would recommend this place and plan to try it again even though today's meal was just ok. read more

We've continued to come here for years, even after moving out of the area -- if we haven't been here for awhile, the wait staff greets us with open arms every time. The food continues to be great, the beers cold, and everything is always clean. I highly recommend dropping by if you're out shopping in the stone creek area. Not impressed...served shrimp not cleaned well with tails on and California blend veggies...I've never had broccoli, cauliflower and carrots at a Mexican restaurant. I have expected peppers and onions, tomatoes... The waiter had no idea what Jalisco or Mole' sauces were...I was told we have brown, red and green sauces. Decided on the brown sauce on the side...I felt bad for the waiter since management hadn't really trained the poor guy so well. He was a very friendly waiter and was attentive. Okay, they went to the top of my favorite Mexican restaurant. Our server was friendly and efficient. I didn't get his name, unfortunately. I liked the salsa and chips that they bring at the start. My only complaint is that they do not bring plates. The salsa is mild. If you want to spice it up, there are tree different types of hot sauce, but you either have to do it one chip at a time or make the whole bowl spicy. We ordered the Saturday lunch specials. I got a shredded beef chimichanga with a beef taco and a side with lettuce and a dollop of sour cream. My partner got a burrito (chicken and beef). The portions were huge. They were flavorful without being spicy. You can use the sauces on the table. This is a big plus for my family. Some of us like heat and some of us won't go near a Mexican restaurant because they can't take it. I'll try it once more to decide if we can add Mexican to our options. The fried ice cream was great. It is huge! It is a shareable desert. Lunch for two was 18 with dessert. read more

I tried this place on my 21st birthday but I wasn't exactly sold. The margaritas are huge but very very icy, more than a smooth texture you get from cancun! The food wasn't anything to rave about either. Their salsa is too much cilantro for me. Or there is something in it that I do not like. And that's already a downer when going to a Mexican place. It is extremely colorful and fun on the inside. I wouldn't not go back, because a lot of coworkers do enjoy this place. But I don't think I would choose my own meal to be there. read more

Been here around 6-7 times. The last three times once your food is served you will not see your waiter again. All have been at lunch which was not crowded. Today I sat 10 minutes not eating waiting to ask for salsa with my meal. Water was never refilled. Food tastes good, service is not. Table in L 5 where they always sit me, glass is cracked. My sister and I go here at least once a week. The food is wonderful. My sister is vegetarian and they have a great veggie menu for her and I can get my cheesy camerones. I know there are other menu items, but why Ned with perfection? The waitstaff is fabulous. When my sister and I enter we don't even have to ask they bring us guacamole and cheese dip along with the chips and it's so super fast. Just one of those places where you could do better and you could do worse. If you want to fill up for not much $$$, this is your place. My boyfriend and I have been regular patrons here for several months and it seems there's been a change recently. Staff is not as friendly as they used to be, or attentive. If you dine in the bar area, they may not ask for your food order for 20 minutes or so. Whether it's crowded or not, wait time tends to be the same. The food quality has been the same basically, which is usually quite good. Margaritas are fantastic and especially strong on some days. This place is usually busy, especially on weekends. read more

Went here a few days ago, I had just regular tacos and they were that bad but I have tasted better. The person I was with ordered a cheeseburger, which actually looked good until they picked it up and there was mold on the bottom of the bun. The server seemed almost annoyed with us when we pointed out the mold on the bun. He also seemed annoyed when he came back and said he took the cheeseburger off the check. We have been to the restaurant several times. Recently, it has gone down hill. The food was cold, employees' kids running around the entire time. Not to mention that management ordered Chipotle and ate at the table next to us. That doesn't say much for their food. Will not be going there again. Very unprofessional. Great service, friendly wait staff and a huge menu. Place doesn't look like much from the outside, but is warm an friendly on the interior. Service was fast but the food was not good at all. I ordered takeout and they got my order wrong. I was just going to push through it but the ground beef was so disgustingly bland, I couldn't. My food was also cold which didn't make sense because it was ready in the 10 mins they quoted me. So I took it back and they gave me the shredded beef I asked for, it was the same weird bland taste. It almost taste like pot roast seasoning on pulled beef. The flavor was sooooo wrong on a tostada. I will not be returning and I would not recommend it. read more

Worst experience ever at a Mexican restaurant. First they charged over $4 in tax for a carry out just because we had 2 drinks at the bar. Then they charged us for free chips and salsa and missed a meal in the carry out. Called when we discovered it at home and they only offered to refund the tax. And did not apologize. Won't be going back here again. The pre mixed margaritas were also pretty bad. Tasted like cheap tequila for sure. read more

This waiter was rude to me After my daughter spilled her wafer. I jumped up and asked the first person I saw for napkins.
