What a great new place to get bagels. First this place looks great not like the previous owner who made no effort. It's clean bright with great sections. The bagels with fresh crispy outside soft inside with a lot of everything on it just like I like it. Plans are for pizza later on today

The flavors weren't bad, bagels had the right level of chewiness and plenty of spread.

I've driven by Tandoori Pizza many times and was always curious to try them. I had the opportunity to finally try Tandoori Pizza since I was at an event at another establishment down the block. I did takeout, and ordered the following: -- Archari Chicken Pizza w.extra garlic sauce (14" large pie for $31.80 with tax): Anchari chicken is typically very spicy, which I was looking forward to. The chicken was barely spicy and extremely dry. I had asked for extra garlic sauce (+ 50¢) in the pizza but I'm not sure if they actually put extra sauce, since it was so dry. Also, the dough reminded me of Dominos crust; very doughy and not very crusty. The toppings were skimpy and the pizza was mostly doughy bread. -- Lamb Kebab Pizza (14" large pie for $31.30 with tax): the dough was the same as the Achari Pizza; doughy and dry. The flavors of this pizza were stronger than the Achari, but the crumbled lamb was extremely overcooked, making it...you guessed it...very dry. Also, We found the price of these pizzas extremely high, given the skimpy amount of toppings and the size of the pizza. $31+ for a 14" pie with skimpy dry toppings and dry doughy crust is unwarranted. I don't know. Everyone else has rated Tandoor Pizza very high, so maybe it's just us who didn't like them. Or...maybe you have to douce the pizza in Ranch Sauce like everyone else?!?! I personally don't like Ranch Sauce on my pizza so that a big no thanks for me. Sorry! I still love Indian Pizza in general, and will continue to enjoy it, but at other places. I'm glad I finally got to try Tandoori Pizza though... curiosity satisfied! On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, polite and welcoming! Also, they offer discounts if you order online (not in person). So order ahead and save a few bucks!

The entire experience made me feel like I was back in Italy. The sourdough pizza was outstanding, and unlike most pizza I get elsewhere, I didn't feel heavy or sluggish afterward. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. We'll definitely be back. The Pizza Polpettina was out of this world!

I'm driving back from Maryland and I planned to stop at Via Cuma for lunch…read more I understand Via Cuma is a not by the slice pizza shop, it's more authentic with a personal size pizza. I parked across the street (make sure you feed the parking meter) and walked inside. I'm assuming it was the owner, I said I'm so hungry and was asked to grab any open table. The restaurant is cozy with multiple tables which can be adjusted to fit a large or small party. The owner comes over with an iPad, I just want a glass of wine with lunch. No bueno, I don't think they have a liquor license. I ordered a coke instead. This word is tripping me up, I know it's devilish, Diavola? I make the sign of the cross as I order this pizza. The owner explains this is his favorite pizza, I can see why. The Diavola Pizza is made with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Hot Soppressata Salame from Calabria and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese along with a drizzle of Olive Oil. This is a pizza that's more heavenly than devilish. There's some heat coming from various ingredients but it's welcomed. The sourdough is something that's interesting, I had this dough in Syosset last week. Is this a new trend? It brought the pizza to another level, there's more complexity with the imported ingredients. I also appreciated the cheese, I should have asked if it was made in-house. Via Cuma, great pizza the other day! Thanks for the Italian lesson on pronouncing Diavola

A late visit after they have been open for a couple years turned out to be ideal. No long lines and quick service, exceptional customer service and I was given a heartfelt thanks for pulling up. When Cuts & Slices opened, the lines were around the corner, for days! I wasn't willing to partake in a lengthy wait and a extended standing period on anyone's line. I appreciate Cuts & Slices for developing a new pizza (za) taste. Something new to the world of ZA, differentiality! I tried the oxtail Za and the sweet chilli shrimp. I must say, these zas were really different and really tasty. If I had not changed my eating habits, I'd consume cuts & slices every week but I must regulate my intake on carbs. The first time, I ordered the fried calamari with red pepper sauce for $24. There was far more breading than actual calamari, and the dish was severely lacking in seasoning. It honestly made me wonder if anyone in the kitchen had heard of salt and pepper. After I called to explain my experience, the staff acknowledged that they had received similar complaints about their takeout calamari and invited me back so they could make it right. Today, I stopped in and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza with sausage and extra cheese. Unfortunately, the experience was no better. The pizza wasn't even heated enough to melt the cheese. The sausage appeared undercooked, wasn't sliced properly, and was served in large chunks. I work on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city, where a comparable slice costs about $6. Here, I paid $8 for a slice that was bland and lacked flavor. If you're considering dining here, I would recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere. Based on my experiences, the food was overpriced, poorly prepared, and simply not worth it.
