She's the ONLY person I can vouch for at European Wax Center. She's thorough, quick, knows exactly what she's doing, and somehow I'm not dying in pain. She's also the sweetest and has basically become a friend. We spend my appointments chatting about life, my son, podcasts, crime dramas, and everything else. She's even amazing with my toddler when I occasionally have to bring him. The center itself is always clean, the receptionists are friendly, and online booking is super easy. I buy the Wax Pass every year because it's definitely worth it. The shopping center has tons to do, playground, TJ Maxx, koi and turtle pond, açaí bowls, dumplings, 5 below, so we can make a morning out of it. Only downside: parking is literally a b*tc#. Otherwise, Erika is my girl and I'm not letting anyone else wax me!

The TGF booster and retinol was a game changer. She has such knowledge and curiousity in knowing the products and the science to it that you know you are consulting from someone who knows "skin" very well. Her goal aligns from my goal, which is having to use less make up in the end because you dont need to cover up what you already have: beautiful glowing skin. I went back to try out more products from Le Miuex and had another Brazilian and underarm waxing and felt well taken care of. She just makes it easy breezy and the whole experience of having such a good experience made me feel my time and money was well spent. She is a master craftsman (craftswoman ) because she makes sure that her work is as impeccable as possible. She takes the time needed to make sure it's done right...and it sure is. The woman who did my service was nice and quiet. I'm not generally a chatty person when I'm getting something done somewhere so I had my headphones on watching dramas. She was gentle with my hands which I appreciated. I've been some places where my wrist hurts afterwards. The only questions she asked was how short to cut them and if I liked the shape. The shape is different than what I came in with but it doesn't look bad. They have a bit more of a rounded apex when you look for the side and I like them more flat but it's not a big deal. It's just preference. I also got my eyebrows waxed. There's a small room right are the beginning of the hallway that is overcrowded for its size but serves its purpose. She was quick and efficient with my eyebrows. No complaints. The general feel of the place of slightly crowded because they have a lot of stations and pedicure chairs. The staff that didn't have clients were just scattered around doing their own thing. It seems like a nice place. Calm. I would go back if I needed to in a pinch and my regular person isn't available.

She seemed very nice, easy to talk to, and I appreciated her fair pricing. Also she had very good reviews on Yelp. I saw her on 12/27/22. But since I don't go to her normally I couldn't help but compare her to my usual girl. Mind you I have been getting my lashes done religiously for 2 years now. Firstly, she told me I needed a new set (initially booked for a fill) to which I thought, "Fair, she's the expert, I'll go with her advice." She could've been way more gentle when removing the existing extensions. She pulled at the extensions and rubbed at them with whatever remover she used which irritated my eyelids. But I let that go because that part passed pretty quickly. Another thing I noticed is she didn't ask what shape or length of lashes I wanted. I'm used to being asked those things, plus if I'm ok with the length of extensions they're going to apply, etc. When I got home, however, I examined my lashes in the mirror and found that I couldn't brush through them. Somehow there was glue on the the tips of the extensions which I found weird. Also I noted during my appointment she had placed a full set in under 2 hours. Fast forward to today (1/10/23), and I finally got an appointment with my usual girl. She said the fans were unusually easy to remove, despite me washing them every other day and brushing them (when they allowed). She also said she could tell they were premade fans, which isn't always the way to go in my experience. The way they're glued together makes for a very unnatural appearance. She noted that there were multiple fans on one lash which weighed them down and she found a few that were stuck together. So all of this told me that it was a more rushed appointment rather than her being efficient. Overall, I'm not saying don't go to her or anything, I just want her to see this review and hopefully use it as constructive criticism and improve her techniques in the future.
