I stopped in for avocados and a few other produce items. It's a nice market that includes hot food items that can be eaten on their patio or available to go. I was disappointed, however, on the quality of the avocado. They were well priced at .99 each, but they were either over ripe and very squishy, well beyond good usage. Why they were still on the shelf is a mystery to me. The onions and peppers I picked up were in good condition and well priced. The cashier was friendly enough.

We wanted to have a nacho party with our immediate family so we were thinking of ideas and decided to call La Posta Market to see what they had in mind. Boy did they not disappoint! They told us they can do a family style table nacho with carnitas or any meat of our choosing! So we decided to give it a try and all we can say was WOW! If we can give a 10 star, we definitely would! They went above and beyond! The staff was so nice they helped us put everything together where all we had to do was throw it on the table when we got home! I would recommend this place on any given day! Thank you guys!

It was a beautiful gloomy day and I was craving some takeout when I entered the store I ordered a California burrito and it took about 35 minutes to prepare when I approached the register to pay the old lady at the register was extremely rude and tossed my burrito and soda abruptly into the bag which caused my burrito to rip and ruin my day

Selling moldy expired food. Workers did not care about it. I asked one question and received attitude about it.

Concerning Experience at Imperial Beach Grocery Outlet - Disability and Racist Owner Awareness…read moreNeeded I want to share an experience my family had at the Imperial Beach Grocery Outlet (Store #0288) so other families -- especially those with disabilities -- are aware. On February 3, 2026, during checkout, the cashier (David) reprimanded my minor autistic daughter directly, telling her that the store headband she was wearing "did not belong there" after she briefly set it on the candy rack. I was standing right in front of him, using a walking cane, with our disability‑related support animal beside us. Our disability needs were clearly visible, yet he chose to address my child sharply instead of speaking to me. I asked for the manager and insisted on an apology, which he eventually gave. Unfortunately, while we were still in the store managing our paid groceries without assistance, the manager, the same cashier, and a nearby customer openly mocked the situation at the manager's register. When I raised this, the manager dismissed it, saying she had "no control over customers." Families with disabilities deserve respect, patience, and professionalism -- not reprimands directed at children or mocking behavior from staff and customers. I did receive a brief response from the franchise owners, but it did not address the specific concerns or the seriousness of what occurred. I hope this store takes disability awareness and customer treatment seriously moving forward. Complaint filed with BBB. Update: Complaint filed with Department of Justice . This hole-in-the-wall grocery store has been part of my life when I was raising my kids (now in…read moretheir early 30s), so there's something special to be said about this small neighborhood market that's been part of my life. I have lived practically down the street and around the corner from Farm Fresh. It was close enough to walk, but I preferred to drive whenever I needed to buy groceries. This place may not be the best looking market, or have all the bells and whistles, but it has always come through for me with most of the basic grocery essentials. My usual purchases were fruits, veggies, meats and chicken, salsas, and pastries. Every now and then, I'll grab hot food dish from their kitchen/deli. And, during emergency cases, I have bought milk, bread, cereals, sandwich meats. Truth be told, Walmart has taken over in that department now. The produce area is always kept stocked, organized and clean as with the other areas of the market. Although the isles are close quarters, there's room to move around should you use a shopping food cart. Staff are usually busy either stocking and organizing all areas or the store. Floor is also kept clean and free from potential safety issues. Almost forgot, fresh tortillas are made here at Farm Fresh. Overall, price is fair. Kitchen/deli should think about not raising their prices too high. Lastly, please don't compare Farm Fresh to Northgate or Manalos grocery store ...not fair.

I've noticed they are getting busier and busier so morning is probably the best time. Say around 10 -10:30 am. Especially on wkends. It can also get packed .. bring patience and manners. The ambiance inside the market is also nice ..not overpowering like say Albertsons. They have a great selection of food and drinks...not only alcohol but energy drinks, waters, Starbucks bottled coffee and sodas as well. When I was sick, I came here with a mask on and ordered their caldo de res...with all the veggies and the warm broth it actually helped me feel better. Plus the generous chunks of veggies helped me get some nutrition in me. That and the menudo on the weekends are what I believe helped me get past being sick. Truly grateful for this place being nearby!! I highly recommend this market.....it has amazing food, amazing employees, and a really decent selection. Need laundry soap but think you have to go to name brand store? Nope! Head over towards the butcher in the back, across from the pan dulce and you'll find it! They also have instant coffee and creamer. Speaking of their pan dulce ... absolutely must try!! It's delicious!!!
