Pan Dulce is made fresh daily and there are rows of mouthwatering options to choose from. On Saturday & Sunday they cook up fresh batches of Menudo. I recently came here to pick up some Cheese Tamales, which are also made fresh daily. The gentleman/owner who assisted me was so sweet. He wrapped up my tamales in tinfoil with care. When I realized they only take cash I told him I'd be back. He said, "You can pay me tomorrow." Thankfully, it's only a five-minute drive home, so I came back immediately with cash & a tip. The tamale was by far the best I ever had. Most tamales are dry but this was so moist. The masa had a nice taste. Inside was a generous amount of cheese, a slice of jalapeño, and a slightly spicy red chili sauce. It was big, flavorful, satisfying, and a great deal for $3.

Comes with salsa verde, chopped onions, and cilantro. They seriously pile the meat on these tacos. 2) LENGUA: comes with every thing the cabeza tacos have but with tongue meat. Still very tender but not as tender as the cabeza. Honestly, you can go either or and still have a great time feasting. 3) CARNE ASADA: They use a mixture of ground meat/steak. I prefer my carne asada 100% steak but for $1.50, I'm not complaining. The best part is the grill on the meat! Smoky, charred, and plenty of flavor. These tacos are paired with a spicy red chili sauce and topped with onions and cilantro. 4) AL PASTOR: This was my least favorite taco. It reminded me less of al pastor and more bbq pulled pork. It was very sweet and needed some extra char to balance it out. Otherwise, still pretty good but not my fave.
