Ceiling falling down, mold all around
    Lauren P.

It is gross, smelly, poorly maintained, lacks clean sheets and towels. The manager lied about multiple things. Refused to compensate. The shower didn't drain and we were told to take showers the next day. Three people in a 4 person room with only 2 towels. First was told no clean towels, then found an extra bath sheet, hand towel and wash cloth- they smelled like they were not washed. Smoking is allowed despite what is said- we were hot boxed all night by someone on the floor. Hair on the toilet and on the "clean" sheets. Bugs crawled out of the sink. Just nasty and should not be considered. Also if safety is important, the doors to the back parking lot have no lock- open to anyone to walk in. No key card necessary. You can access the whole hotel from there, And the mildew smell everywhere is just awful.

    Night Manager on duty

Night Manager threatened to call the Police on me simply because I wanted to sit in the lounge/lobby to eat fruit and read my emails. She said, "the lobby is for eating breakfast only, not for eating. You eat in your room." So she called the police. I am a guest.

The great- my room was clean, property was kept up and staff were wonderful (friendly, professional and efficient). Lots of parking and easy access to 95/695. First off, let me say that for about $10 more than Red Roof Inn this hotel is in far better shape, cleaner, more pet friendly and has more professional staff. I can't speak to the breakfast as I didn't partake. I believe the pool is closed (but I don't use that either). I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my return trips. The area seems pretty safe and it is close to Hopkins (about 20 minutes from downtown) and only about 12 minutes away from White Marsh Mall. I definitely believe their ratings should be a bit higher compared with other hotels.

We came for an overnight stay and we're comfortable in our room. It looks like they had recently undergone some renovations. We were greeted by staff when we came in door. They were helpful and courteous. We booked a king bed room and it came with a recliner which my husband was very content with. Our room was on the second floor.. view of parking lot. The pool they have on premises was an outdoor pool but it was closed.. looks like it's been closed for awhile. They had decent gym area and a few outdoor seating areas under an umbrella to give some shade.. not extravagant by any means but it suited our needs. Breakfast served in mornings 6am to 9 am you could have cereal items, make a waffle or get scrambled eggs and sausage.. toast and bread items included..nice seating at breakfast area.. charging areas too on tables in lobby. Our bed was comfortable.. we had a small walk in shower but they provided dove lotion, soap and dispensed dove shampoo conditioner and shower gel in the shower stall. Not in the best area but for an overnight it seemed decent.

Two and a half stars ... Stopped here on the way to NC. We stopped late and really just needed a bed for the night and for that, it was adequate. The rooms are very basic 6/10 for cleanliness - there were crumbs on the carpet and fluff on the bathroom floor. Only three towels for a four person reservation and those "bath towels" were hand towels!! The "continental breakfast" was awful! I actually believe the food was yesterday's. My daughter went to make a waffle but when dispensed the batter split into batter topped with a murky watery liquid. I told her not to eat the boiled eggs that were sitting because of freshness concerns! There was one type of cereal ... lucky charms!!! There were bagels which ended up being my (only) choice with "buttery tasting spread" (48% oil). The front desk clerk was wonderful and tried his best to correct someone else's lack of attention to their task. He also refunded us $25 on checkout which was really nice. The three stars are mostly for him. Won't be returning.

This hotel has been the best I have stayed at since I have been in Maryland. And the staff makes my time comfortable in which it should be while your staying at a hotel. Also, the manager down to the cleaning ladies are very nice, and Darrien & Diana has helped me with my stay, and if I need anything they are quick to make sure it's done. But I can say for any travelers this would be a quiet and comfortable stay because it has been for me. Also for the area, there is a Walmart across the street plus plenty of restaurants, and a Wawa close by also.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). We self parked in the lot attached to the hotel and only paid $25 per day, which is pretty cheap compared to parking prices at the Philly location. The hotel is actually on the harbour, so the view is gorgeous and its easy access to all the things on the harbour. Check in was easy. Staff greeted us and even upgraded us to a balcony room. The room was beautiful. There was a large tub, rainfall shower, tv in bathroom mirror, separate toilet room, plush bed, min bar, robs, slippers, closet space, wall mirror, desk, chair w/ chaise, and nice size balcony with table & chair. The hotel sent up chocolate covered strawberries and a note for hubbys birthday, which was a nice touch. We visited the pool, which was breathtaking. Its a long infinity pool that overlooked the harbour. They have a bar/poolside restaurant and semi private cabanas. I rented a cabana for us and it came with prosecco, guac + chips, water, and a fruit platter. The guac was some of the best Ive had. We also ordered lobster rolls which were THE BEST ive ever had also. The pool staff was so kind and attentive as well. This hotel is literally perfect, especially for a staycation. The only things I did not like were the robes come in one size and run small. Also, I dont feel the cabana's are properly priced. I paid almost $500 and it wasn't really luxurious. When you think of the Four Seasons, you think top tier. The cabana was simply basic for the price. Could have been better. But aside from those two things, the hotel for sure lives up to its name. Forgot to mention, we ordered breakfast via room Service and it was amazing. The croussant waffle is life changing lol

There are people on the streets clearly on drugs and the Marijuana smell alone lingers on me after i walk pass them. So, to say the least, the location of the hotel is terrible unless the city cleans up the streets and straighten out the community. Inside the hotel, people were helpful and nice. Everywhere inside is too dark. It might be on purpose but it give creepy vibes or didn't pay electric bills vibe. The intended vibe is supposed to be very baltimore and i can see why.
