Had a great Thursday night dinner at La Ragazza. They've done a great job with the redesign, it's very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Service was friendly and helpful and food came out within a reasonable time. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer and I had their signature sandwich while my wife had the sausage pasta. I really enjoyed all of my food, my wife did note that the pasta could used more seasoning. But overall we very much enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back! read more

For $24 worth of pasta, I expect to be blown away by my dish. What I received was below Olive Garden and frankly, Fazoli's standards. Very little sausage in the dish, and no flavor, not even tomato could be tasted in the sauce. 2 hours to get our food and this was the 2nd time this happened. Waitress kept avoiding us and lying about timelines. Food was lukewarm at best when it arrived. Olive Garden may have been better. One person asked about sea scallops and was told that's what was served but in actuality they were bay scallops. Another ordered a dish with sausage but there was no sausage to be found. I wrote a stellar review 18 days ago. It was so good I decided to do my birthday dinner here. So I came here again for my birthday and one of the owners was waiting on our table. She was clearly annoyed at something the entire time. Maybe just a bad day which I get but either way it was a vibe killer on my birthday. Most disturbing of all, I got the same meal I got last time because it was so good and it was completely different and off. I don't think I will be returning unfortunately. I missed my first server and the delicious first meal. Don't want to risk having the second experience again. read more

Let's start by saying Carli was an excellent waitress. We began with the Brussels bruschetta which was delicious! And unique in its creamy tastes. I ordered the Braised Beef Ragù and would get again the next time we go. All four of our dishes had wi deftly flavor and were cooked perfectly. We were sad when we didn't have room to try their dessert menu! It will be a wonderful reason to go back very soon! read more

Extremely slow service took 30 min just to place our drink order ordered salad & server forgot about it. Food was bland little to no flavor. Ordered lava cake for dessert and it was so small I thought it was a joke. Table for 2 arrived at 6:15 didn't get check until 8:45 and that's with us trying to hurry things up. I came with a large group of people and our reservations were last-minute. It was communicated that due to the size of our group and the last minute nature, we would be seated at two different tables. Unfortunately it was in two completely different rooms which was not clearly stated. Besides that, the food was not very good. The flavors were average and not authentic Italian; a little better than Olive Garden. Our service was not great either. Our server forgot items and was not around when I went looking for her. Overall our group found the place to be overpriced and not a pleasant dining experience. 3 stars because it wasn't horrible; just not great or worth recommending. read more

Right on the Main Street with a nice river view, we were greeted at the door and promptly seated. The interior of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. Service was quite good- very attentive but not intrusive. The bruschetta was very good. We both had the pasta with meatballs entree that was pretty good. The only complaint I could lodge is the wine pour was miserly- it wasn't overly expensive though so I didn't mention it. If you're in the area, it's a good option. read more

Great atmosphere with awesome drinks. They're located right along the river and have a good blend of traditional Italian food with a modern twist. Large servings, plenty to take home for another meal. Lacked flavor. I like a lot of spices and flavor, my meal had none. I'd say it was closer to nursing home food than true italian cooking. If they would spice things up, I'd consider going back but otherwise not worth it. Very surprised to find such a nice restaurant here. Flavor, Quality, ambiance and portions were very well done. We came for lunch and I had the signature sandwich and my wife had the chicken panini. Have been here twice now and everything was excellent! Had a glass of house red with their warm bread - perfect. Today we enjoyed the salmon special cooked perfectly and the basil pasta with grilled shrimp. The portions are large. Even the side wedge salad is more than enough for two people. They lost our reservation, they served our salads to the table next to us, and the expeditor apologized well after we were into our meal. The drinks came out wrong, the Tito's on the rocks turned into a vodka and soda. The meals were just okay. I don't recommend this restaurant. Service was attentive, just busy and were seemingly overwhelmed. Dessert of their crème Brûlée was not something we would go for again. Don't know who their target market is, but they replaced a great restaurant history in their location. Not inclined the ever return. read more

Adorable restaurant with delicious food and amazing service. We went on a quiet Thursday night - our servers were very helpful and really went above and beyond to give us the best dining experience! My favorite parts were the comfy and stylish pink chairs in the front room where we sat, and the Tuscan sausage dip! I also recommend the cheese tortellini w/ shrimp. Visiting local family from Houston, TX and decided to give this new place a try for dinner. What a gem you have in LeClaire,IA! The remodeled space is tastefully done and gorgeous. Beautiful mural in the front dining room across from the lovely bar. We dined in the comfortable back room looking out towards the river. Nice wine list, that with a little more time and wine service experience, will be served to the level of dining offered. On to the food...in a word, outstanding! The menu has a nice selection of courses, with an appropriate amount of starters, pastas, entrees and sides. The creamy, Tuscan sausage dip was great to share. The Tuscan stew was indeed, hearty. The creamy, sausage Tuscan pasta was full of their delicious sausage swimming in a very tasty cream sauce. The red sauce on The Classic was very fresh and the included vegetables were cooked to perfection. And last, but not least, we managed to make room for a few, shared bites of Tiramisu. Service was fantastic! Tables are very small and very busy not much room once plates come. Avoid the fisher price charcuterie board very basic packaged meats and basic cheeses. I'm 100% convinced that anyone who's eaten here has never had anything flavorful in their lives. All pastas we ordered had a base that was like a flavorless alfredo sauce. Literally any salt or pepper would've helped. We waited 20 minutes for drinks. We were one of three tables in the restaurant, tops. We ordered soup that was served to us cold (it wasn't supposed to be cold). It was corrected. Service was friendly and she kept apologizing for long waits on everything, which I get. She's the reason they even get an extra star. The tables in the back were part wooden bench with a bunch of pillows along the backs of them.
