My wife and I go to this restaurant once or twice a month. In almost all cases the service is great, the food is very good and reasonably priced. BUT on 4/13/2022 I ordered the hot beef sandwich. The beef on this entree did not match the picture on the website. This beef was paper thin and if not covered with gravy you could see thru it! I know inflation is here and beef is expensive but this offering is not a quality item at all! We will continue to patronize your restaurant, but I would suggest you take this item off the menu until you can offer a better quality of beef! read more

Have never had a bad meal here and the waitresses are great! They stay on top of things and take good care of you! They take their jobs seriously and they want to make you happy. Prices for what you get are wonderful and the food all tastes homemade! It's def a diamond in the rough! read more

Wow. Anybody who eats at qc family restaurant might want to read this. My family (8 adults and 6 kids. At least 3 of the kids needed highchairs) were waiting for a table. They told us about a 15min wait. Not bad for a large group. In about 5min we were told there was a table ready for 8 adults. He was reminded about the kids. He rolled his eyes and said I'm sorry, we cant seat you. Then he crossed our name of the waiting list. Nope. He didnt want to serve us. About a little while later, he came up to my brother-in-law and asked how many highchairs we needed. He was told 3. He rolled his eyes again and walked off. As we were all discussing about walking out and going someplace else, he came up to us and said they had a table. We followed him. He tossed the menus on the table and walked off. The table had 8 chairs. 1 on each end, and 3 on each side. No space at all for the 6 kids we had. And he knew that. So we turned around and left. And i caught him rolling his eyes at us again as we were leaving. After that, a few of us got on the restuarant Facebook page and left bad reviews. We were upset and rightly so. 1 star reviews from about 3 or 4 of us. Now that should have been the end of it. But when you have a manager comment back to a review that low, it is usually followed by an apology for the poor experience the customer has had. But when the manager comments on a post nothing but cuss words in Greek, it makes me hate the place even more. In the photo I added, the manager commented twice. "I gamísou" is Greek for "Fu** You" And "Malaka" means "@$$hole" He didnt care to have us there. Didnt want to seat us. Wanted nothing to do with us. He wanted us back out. The servers weren't even wearing mask when I went in. Very unprofessional and rude. They forced me to eat outside in their tent in the rain when they clearly had seating in the restaurant. Went for breakfast. The food was good and the service quick. The waitress brought the ticket to our table and never said that I had to take it up to the cash register to pay. So I sat there holding my ticket and credit card forever waiting for her to come get it and run it. After she walked past several times (while looking at the card and ticket in my hand and yet saying nothing) I guessed I just had to take the ticket to the cash register. I don't get it. Yeah.. so this place... skip it. I got their "all meat skillet" and it had ZERO flavor. I had to cover it in hot sauce to make it bearable. OH!! My wife ordered a gyro, which we thought would be a safe order. We were so wrong. Every slice of meat was identical, meaning it was pre-packaged. The meat was also slimy and tasteless. I ordered the stuffed pepper special. The plate had a puddle of water, with two bland peppers on the plate. After the meal, my wife told the waitress that she didn't really like the gyro. Her response was, "Yeah, our gyros aren't very good. You should go to the place down the street." We were shocked. The only positive was that they were very nice and understanding with our baby who made a pretty big mess. read more

Here's the deal, Its home style cooking, most people that have been in a kitchen for 5 years or more can cook every bit as good as what these people offer. After eating here a half dozen times and getting a variety of meals, I can say you don't come here for wonderful food that excites your pallet, and moves you to emotional gratification. nothing is new ,different or "special" again Its home style ! You come here to get waited on by nice people, the parking lot is nice and easy, the food is very consistent, as is the clientele . Average wait time is 9 -12 minutes. there is a very good choice of seating , either booths or tables. The price is pretty right on , for what you are getting. I have never had to return any food to the kitchen for any reason. Areas that the should be addressing are: The need to keep track of what the carpets look like, its not uncommon to see High chair debris on the floor , on a regular basis. and Their menu needs to be cut in half, way too much going on there. I will continue to go back, and for those that want quick , easy and good albeit plain food , I would recommend it. The pies are nothing to write home about, yes they are larger than average portions, but I am pretty sure they have been frozen for a week and eventually thawed out. Ew. The food edible but didn't appeal to my taste. I had breakfast consisting of chocolate chip pancakes and scrambled eggs. Both were below average for a restaurant. My friend had a Bacon and cheese omelette and she didn't seem to mind, but agreed mine was just yucky. The senior menu has an excellent variety: salad, main course and dessert. We always have friendly, attentive waitresses. There are daily specials. I don't know why anybody goes to the Village Inn when they can come here. The portions are a lot bigger, especially the omelets. They bend over backwards to make sure you're happy with your order, and substitutions are usually no problem (side of fruit instead of side of pancakes, etc.). The place is full at mealtimes, which says more about it than I can. Free small dessert with dinners (tapioca, rice pudding, dish of ice cream). I have been going here for years, my sister and a large group of in laws go there every Saturday. I will never go there again. I ordered Tuna Casserole. It was a layer of plain noodles, no sauce, extremely dry tuna spread on top of the noodles and single cheese slices melted on top. I took a bite and had a hard time swallowing, it's still sitting in my stomach. I told the waitress I expected an actual casserole and this made me sick to my stomach. They refused to take it off of the bill. Apparently they don't do that anymore, my other choice was to order a replacement item but I was nauseated so they didn't give a crap. If I could give 0 stars I would. Just left this place without even eating. Oh my goodness I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I know it is Mothers day and I know places are busy. We had a big party. 8 adults plus 6 kids. My dad came in and asked if they could take a party that big. The owner said yes they could seat us. We get inside and waited and he called our number and then saw how many of us there were he said no we can't seat that many people so they start seating people who got there after us. So then the owner came over to us and said that he was working on a table. But then rolled his eyes as he walked away! And then the table they got ready was a table of six that they put 2 more chairs at! They expected us to squeeze 8 people and 6 kids there! So we turned around and left. And then the owner rolled his eyes again and shook his head at us as we left! Now we all would have understood if you couldn't seat us. But tell us that first thing! Don't treat us so rudely! Will never be back and will tell everyone I know that his "family restaurant" is not family friendly unless you have a small family! The food is ok the service is pretty good the manager Theresa is awesome on the other hand the owners are terrible people they make fun of their customers they talk about their weight the clothing they wear the fact that everyone that eat there is old they treat their servers like slaves they don't train the servers they throw them on the floor and then fire them after working 4 days because they don't know the job perfectly. I've worked there three times fired all three times and out of those three times not once was I given a reason. I was given a lie I have been a server for 12 plus years but if you don't train the server that hasn't been there for over 2 years they're not going to remember anything especially when they get a computer system after writing the orders on paper for as long as they've been open. Might I add that the main owner has a cocaine problem and is very rude to his employees and his customers if you take a bite of your food and it's not good you have to pay for it anyway.
