The carne asada fries were also flavorful and made with high quality ingredients. The only dish we did not like were the CDMX quesadillas. This place is great for beer and cocktail lovers though the cocktails are simple, and the spirits aren't the most spectacular, but it's good to have options for everyone. We were looking for a place near the balloon fiesta and we're worried this might be too crowed. It wasn't. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of room. This is my third visit to La Reforma and they have knocked out of the park again. Each time the servers are anxious to help and provide the right amount of checking at the table. So far I've had the chef Javi salad, the al pastor quesadillo, and tacos. This was three different visits. So far the al pastor quesadillo was my favorite, followed by chef Javi salad. Both were excellent and filling. The portions are generous, the price is right for this style restaurant, and the service is polite. If you have a drink I recommend the Bomba, a scotch ale. read more

Delicious food, a variety of refreshing beers, good prices, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. We walked over from our hotel with our three toddlers (we were desperate) and they were very accommodating. Some places are very unwelcoming of families with small children but all the staff we interacted with were very kind and gracious about our wild crew. Date night in a pandemic? After six months in a lockdown, pandemic, socially distanced environment, it was time to ease into society and enjoy a date night. To surprise my foodie with a passion for microbrews, I took him to La Reforma Brewery, and he was not disappointed. Upon arrival, we saw the signature outdoor tent with staff who wore eclectic #nmtrue masks. The atmosphere immediately lessened my inner nervousness. The menu was full of fun taco experiences, appetizers that even those with [icky pallets or dietary regimens could enjoy, and a fun selection of craft beers. Sticking with my keto lifestyle, I enjoyed Chef Javi's Salad with a side of Pollo Asado. My better half picked the following tacos: Carne Asada, Pescado, and carnitas, and we "shared" (also known as my husband eating most of...a side of Aguacate (also known as the best thing to eat ever or tempura-battered avocado). We both enjoyed dinner, and the staff was very polite. In a world full of COVID, this place allowed us to be back in society in a safe environment. My wife contemplated going to nexus instead, however I wanted to give it a try. We walked in and felt the atmosphere was perfect. It's dark, however bright enough to look around and enjoy your company. We received welcoming arms immediately. I ordered the hi-wit. It's flowery and sweet, if that makes sense. My wife ordered the Diana the Huntress. Must get! The carne asada fries are worth the try as they're covered with cheese, meat and deliciousness. The asada taco and aguacate tacos are equally impressive. They give Dia De Los Takos a run for the flavor for sure. They are worth the $3.75 per taco!! I encourage you to come and give it a try. Their burritos are amazing! The El Tri cocktail is delicious along with the huntress cocktail. Their spirits are quite tasty as well: the service is absolutely amazing and the people are attentive. The drink was light and refreshing. Great for winter and I don't doubt perfect for summer. The Pescado and Al Pastor was my favorite. Too notch. review for a 12/3 visit... Tuesday. What did my friend and I forget? Well, at La Reforma, it means discounted tacos. We decided to meet at 6:30pm and boy oh boy, was this place pretty busy and packed by 6:10pm. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer while I waited for my friend and looked out for a table to open up. (Eating at the bar is fine, but not really our idea of ideal). By the time my friend arrived, I had secured a 2 seat table and he got his drink and we ordered some food. He had the carne asada torta and a taco (that I cannot remember what it was). I ordered the carne asade, pollo asado, and al pastor tacos. All were good, but the polla asado was probably the best of the bunch, but not by much. The salsa that came with the tacos were pretty good, too. We had a good time, with good food and some good beers. My friend was a bit disappointed that they didn't served hard liquor not in a cocktail, but it wasn't a deal breaker. If you do decide to try this place out, remember that Tuesdays are a bit busy, but the discounted tacos shouldn't be the only reason you want to hang out here. It has a nice environment and service is friendly and helpful. This was my 2nd time to come to this place, the first with my wife, and both visits were good. read more

I have been here three times in the last month, the service is prompt and friendly and the food is very good. I like the lager, Oktoberfest and hi-wit beers very much; some of their beers are more malty and sweet then I prefer,but they have a very extensive selection which should please every palate. There is plenty of parking and it feels spacious inside. Its location is also very accessible from pretty much any part of town. I loved this brewery! The beers were all really solid and the food was authentic and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I also love all of the art and updates done to the place after Bosque moved out. All in all, In my opinion it is hard to find a brewery with food as good as their beer but La Reforma really nailed it! The chips were fresh and the guac was really good and a tad spicy. Bring a date or bring bring the fam! On the down side, it's pretty expensive. And in the future I would love to see queso on the menu!! read more
