If I could rate no stars I would!!! I took my two daughters, my niece and obviously my self almost two weeks ago! My daughter's nails are already falling off! For the four of us it cost $325 and that was with tip!!! For gel paint and I little flower design!!! Every time I go in it's always a different price!!! The last time I was there I got the same thing I did this time but I got Christmas designs on all my fingers and it was only $85!!! Would not go here ever again. I asked about the price on the phone and they completely lied. They charged me for a "special" that I did not get. When I asked them about it they said it was tax. Tax is not $25! Nails were not the prettiest either and they fell off within a week. read more

I called for an appointment and got an appointment for that day at noon when i got there i was the only client. The nail technician rushed my nails even tho the salon was empty. I have natural nails with a gel manicure. I take good care of my nails. The technician used a drill to get my gel off and burned me 4 times. I asked her if she could not use the drill or slow down the speed. I got the worst manicure of my life. Almost every nail had a different shape with lumps in the gel. I went to the grocery store and decided to go back to the salon and i asked for a refund. They refused a refund. I did let another nail technician fix my nails and they look a lot better. The last picture is the fixed nails. I typically would have just paid and went somewhere else but i don't have time and $40 for a gel manicure for that quality. read more

We made advance appointments for 2 pedicures. Luckily I carry cash as they accept no plastic on Sundays, but did not inform in advance. Our mid level pedicure was finished in 30 minutes tops. They worked so fast that all relaxation was removed from event. I asked to use the restroom before leaving and walking down to end of hall and saw many messy areas in back rooms. I will never return. I went in yesterday to have my gel polish removed and for a manicure and application of regular polish. First, she used the drill so far down to get the polish off that what is left of my nails is bending and soft. It was the worst application of polish I have ever seen. I asked her if she could please clean it up and her response was "you said you didn't want me to cut your cuticles." Nothing was in sanitation liquid, when she went to clip my nails she picked up the tool she used to push back my cuticles to get someone else's toe nails out of her clipper! I said please don't use that on me, just file. I waited for 35 minutes under the nail dryer and the application was so thick it still dented and left marks. I've gone to La Reve the last few years; it's where I go 80% of the time. Today I tried something new...a dip manicure. For those that aren't familiar, it's a fine powder that your nails are dipped into three times, followed by two coats of shellac. It's definitely thicker and supposedly healthier for your nails. went in this past Sunday 2/5/23 for a mani and pedi . Lucy did a good job on my pedi and took her time , then a young man rushed over to do my manicure and did a terrible job. I had to ask him to do my cuticles and he only half did them . The second coat of my nail polish isn't even covering the first coat . Then he walked away without saying a word and I was left to sit in the pedicure chair to dry my nails They charged me 5 dollars more than they told me it would cost when I called. when I left not one employee said a word . Thieves!! They were previously Regal Nails in the Elyria Walmart. They sold gift cards knowing they were closing (confirmed by their corporate office), but will NOT honor the gift cards or provide refunds. I spent $120 in gift cards for my daughter & nieces to get their nails done, but they would not honor the gift cards or provide a refund. They originally told their corporate office that they would honor them; which is why the girls went to get their nails done, but they wouldn't take the cards and the girls had to pay out of pocket. Spend your money elsewhere with a company who actually cares about their customers and doesn't steal from teenage girls. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Awful mani/pedi and I was overcharged from what I was quoted. The massage chairs felt like someone was throwing rocks at your back. My technicians name was Dragon and he didn't speak to me the whole time. Trimmed around cuticles of my toe until I bled and still not a word. Massage, which I paid extra for was a joke, and no time spent filing or softening foot or heal area. Worst part, no sanitary cleaning of tools in between and their sink had mold growing in the waterfall faucet. My gel nails look like a toddler painted them with a magic marker and even when I showed him they were not even he put another coat of polish on and that was it. Charged my card $85 when I was told $70 and then said that is because I couldn't get the combo prove because I got gel on my nails even though it said $10 extra for gel on their sign. I decided to get the powder manicure, the nail Tech left me sitting there to wait for someone else to finish and went to do a pedicure for someone who just walked in... I've been on a mission to find the best pedicure spot on the West Side (yo) since my regular pedicurist left my usual salon. Sadly, this isn't it. The massage chairs were better than most little nail joints, but the service was not. The technician did not say a single word to me. I though it might have been a language issue (it happens sometimes) until he began speaking in perfect English to another technician. Instead he communicated with me using little taps to indicate which foot he wanted to work on. This would have been no big deal if the pedi was excellent. It wasn't. After a bit of soaking, he didn't really exfoliate, leaving my soles largely in the same condition they were in to start. The massage was more like a brief lotion application, using the bare minimum of lotion. His cuticle trim and polish application were fantastic. Sadly the pedi cost about $15 more than the other salons in the area that do a better job. read more

A darn near perfect pedicure today has me giving La Reve another star! This unexpected burst of summer-like weather in Cleveland had me rocking the flip flops today...and my feet were looking rough! A quick stop into La Reve solved that problem for me! My technician was very pleasant and she did an excellent job on my pedicure. She even suggested she test the color I had chosen on one toe first because she suspected it would be lighter than I had wanted. And I'm glad she did because the bottle was definitely deceiving and the color was no where near to what I was looking for. My toes look and feel so good, I was almost tempted to give the coveted 5 star rating...however the interior is still that blinding neon green. read more

My daughter and I get pedicures every so often. I know Im a dude but we do it together so its fun. We figured we would try this place but I have to say it was not very good and priced higher than any other's by 30.00 for both of us (we usually use one in Avon Lake). She litterally did my feet in 10 minutes and put no effort in to it. Usually my feet are good for a while but because of the poor job they are back to normal already after a week. The only words I have for this Nail Spa is disgusting, and dirty. NEVER GO HERE. A few weeks ago a friend and I went to La Reve Nail Spa to get a manicure. When we walked into it we already regreted it. There was a rancid smell among the air, and there was a garbage can overflowing onto the floor. I had a gel manicure last week and then scheduled a pedicure 2 days later. Once home from my manicure, I immediately noticed that it was already starting to peel. I contacted LaReve and they said it would be repaired at my pedicure, 2 days later. I had a 10:00 appointment for my pedicure. However, at 10:20, the pedicure was not started, so I asked the owner what the issue was - she mentioned that the employee was stuck in traffic. Finally at 10:30, she showed up and told me she had a sick child, nothing to do with traffic. The owner was short and rude and if I didn't ask about the status of my appointment, she would have ignored me. After the pedicure, my fingernail was repaired. I offered to look at the sample book to pick out the color that was used. The owner insisted she knew the color since she did the original manicure. Well, when I went out in the daylight, it was very obvious that she used the wrong color. No apologies or anything from the owner - if anything, she was once again rude and started to talk to the other employee in Chinese (or whatever the language was). This was probably my 5th visit to LaReve but it will definitely be my last!!! An apology certainly would have gone a long way in keeping me as a customer. This will be the last time I go to this nail salon. Not only did she cut me three times. My pedicure is horrible. Finger nail polish is already coming off, and I just got my pedicure on 7/2 today is 7/3. They use old nail polish that they add fingernail polish remover to thin it out. Don't know her name but this female I'd told her serve times that she was hurting me and all she said was sorry and she cute again. Today when I woke up my feet feel raw and swollen. Called on Sunday to speak with a manager and they said call back Wednesday. Quick to take your money but not quick to solve problems. WON'T EVER GO BACK AND WILL TELL OTHERS TO STAY AWAY! I went for a simple pedicure on January 30th and he punctured the back of my heal. As of today the back of my heal is still sore and I constantly protect it with a band-aid. His thumb nail was over a inch long and pointed and it dug in the back of my heal. He realized what he did and cut his nail shortly after but it was too late. First time i had my nails done so i really didn't know what to expect. I got a full set of acrylics and originally wanted regular polish. Of course they kept asking if I wanted gel (costs more) so I just went with it. Im very picky but also don't know the standard so im giving three stars. One of nails is a little off center and a few have a tiny imperfections in the polish. Also one nail doesnt have quite the same slope on either side. Nothing anyone else would notice, im just constantly looking at them. One day, I decided to buy the lotion for myself to use at home, it smelled so much different from the one they did my pedi with. My neighbor also told me she got a pedi there n her legs started allergic reaction, her skin got all red and itchy. The menu they have the body lufra is purple but theirs are orange. Service is hit or miss...and my last visit was a TOTAL miss. I've been going back and forth between 3-4 local nail salons because it seems most are hit or miss. I had been back at La Reve for about 6 months and was using Amy and loved her. I walked in (did not have an appt) around June 5 or 6 and she was not working. I needed a pedicure and a manicure which included taking off my old gel polish. I was planning on just getting a manicure but not putting polish on so I could give my nails a break. The staff put me in a pedicure chair to soak my feet and also started the process to remove my gel polish. They put acetone on cotton balls at wrapped them on my nails with foil...and proceeded to leave it on my nails FOR AN HOUR!!!!!!!! The acetone was on my nails the entire time I soaked my feet waiting for an available tech AND my entire pedicure. **Side note that during my pedicure a woman who seemed like a regular and seemed to have an appt came back for a pedicure also. She was talking to the tech doing her pedi and was saying that she tried a new place recently and her pedi/mani took 2 hours. Everyone was going on and on about how that was incredibly long but I was there a total of 1 hour 50 min** When we walked over to the mani station and the guy started to unwrap my nails there were literally pieces of my nail flaking off!!! I have VERY thick, strong nails normally and this has never happened when taking off gel polish in the past. I commented that I wonder if that was because of leaving the acetone on my nails for AN HOUR and of course he said 'no, no.' My nails are still incredibly brittle and I hope that brittleness grows out and I get my normal nails back. For now I'll try other places but I'm sure I will have hit or miss service at those places too!! read more

Ok....I hate to write terrible reviews but I really have to on this one. First impression of the place...UNPROFESSIONAL. I called there twice on two different days to ask some questions about their services. You couldn't even hear the person on the other line. They talked so softly and quickly and then rudely rushed me off the phone. I get there and was taken back quickly which was a plus. The nail tech was somewhat rude in the way she looked at me with a smirk when I asked a question. Sorry but I have never been to this salon before so I had some questions to ask. Like when I was asked what color I wanted on my toes. Could you at least point me to your pinks and whites? Sorry I did not know the name of the color that I wanted in my head. The decor was horrific. Lime green walls with not a piece of artwork on them. No music or background noise at all. The only sound was of the little Asian boy running around in the salon. I am not sure whose child it was because no one said a word to him. He was throwing a rubber ball around hitting the walls and customers. He was riding the wheeled chairs around through the curtain into the back room and and full speed out into the pedi area. Hitting the chairs as he went along. Not a single worker disciplined him but a nail salon is not a place to bring your child to work. The place seemed dirty to me...the pedi chairs were all ripped. I was told there were 3 pedicures and I opted for the regular pedi. It was decent but the massage was terrible and I still have dry patches on my heels. The nails looked great though. Then on to the manicure. I asked for a solid color shellac in the beginning. She stared a french manicure but I figured just go with it since I like them too. Noticed she was using "Gellish" brand though. My nails looked pretty darn good. Then came the shock of my life! $83 for that! I had a coupon for a $20 shellac manicure and a $25 express pedicure. Was told could not use either. I did not get an express pedicure...maybe because it was NEVER offered to me in the three choices! And that since I got a french manicure (THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR), that I could not use he Shellac coupon, that it was just on a regular color. Maybe if you get just a solid color on your nails the prices would be better but that is OUTRAGEOUS! She did take $3.00 off....WHOOPIE! Now I need to find another salon...... read more
