We stopped in here Saturday for lunch. There were 3 tables taken when we arrived so we settled in the last booth by the window. We ordered at the counter after studying the menu. My mother in law doesn't like anything with too many flavors as she puts it. We ordered the Mexican City Tacos (a set of 3 tacos minus the beans and rice) and the Original Burrito. The original burrito is just chicken, salsa, and cheese. It doesn't include rice and beans. I haven't had a plain burrito like that in forever. I always get it with rice and or beans. It turned out really good. I like how it came out so warm and soft. The cheese was a plus. I love cheese. It was just regular grated cheese that melted from the heat. My mother in law enjoyed the carnitas tacos. She ate 2.5 of them and was full. It was not spicy at all. Both dishes came with chips. We almost went back and ordered chips, not knowing that they came with a side of chips. Good thing our orders came out at the time we went to order the chips or we would have had too many chips. The chips were a needed side dish for us sharing the food. The mango salsa was a bit too sweet. I liked the avocado salsa with the chips. There is no restroom in the restaurant. You have to go outside down the way from Starbucks to use the facilities. That is a bit of a damper as I really wanted to wash my hands before eating and after shopping. Next time I'll print some handy wipes with me. I have some in my car, but didn't carry some with me. Good thing the burrito came wrapped so I could peel off the napkin as I ate it. They need to clean their tables off after patrons use them. We had to wipe it down ourselves. Not a big issue, but it would have been nice. They had time, it wasn't too busy even at the lunch hour. It was good to see they had some patrons in additional to us. I'd come back again for lunch and I would reccomend this place to others that are looking for somewhere to eat in the shopping center. It was nice being able to take a lunch break before we hit up Marshall's again to get a birthday gift for a friend.

I had no expectations for this small strip mall fast food restaurant next to Oakland Airport within 4 miles and 7 minutes of Taxi Ride with fast no nonsense service at cheaper side of casual lunch! But no. It's not a casual lunch affair. This is a damn serious Mexican Cuisine Affair. Something that you will likely write about in your diary. The three Mexican Gourmet Chefs are serious as Hell. Their salsas are so flaming hot it should be illegal. Their street tacos literally smells of most glorious Mejicanos in Mejico. You are transformed and melded in Mejicanos standing shoulder to shoulders with truly amazing street vendors in small avenues of Mexico City enjoying the aroma and great truly great authentic Me Mexican Cuisine of the highest quality at the lowest prices of under appreciated cheap Franchise Fast Food American prices. Go my Mukbang Friends before they shutter the most beautiful hidden gem of Truly Mexican Cuisine of Highest Quality!

Was in the area and didn't want to eat from a chain restaurant. Came at an odd hour so it wasn't busy. They take Apple Pay and card so that's a plus! Ordered at the counter and went to the salsa bar (so many options!). Ordered the grande burrito and it was ready so quickly that I didn't even finish getting my drink and salsa haha. The burrito comes with a side of chips. The grande burrito was loaded with filling and love the addition of guac. The steak was cooked well and not tough (downside was that some pieces were big and not cut). The selection of salsas were great, and I liked how there were non-spicy options as well. Would recommend if you're in the area and get hungry after shopping. Tons of parking since it's by the mall!

Recommended this place to a coworker and she said her and her husband really loved it. I have been coming to this place for years as this is part of my neighborhood. My grandmother would always take us here as a kid. And growing up I still order here very very grilled American/Mexican food. Everything is fresh. They have a very nice salsa bar and the chips here are very delicious. I usually order a burrito but here in this photo is a shrimp and steak chipotle salad and it was delicious. A little spicy, but I'm OK with spice. Lots of parking outside and dining tables inside and outside also a Starbucks right next-door.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if it were possible. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I opted for the veggie option which I'm not sure if it included extra veggies or not and I also got black beans. It was good! Nothing spectacular but a solid breakfast. Definitely a little high on the salt but not overwhelming to where it couldn't be consumed. The salsa bar was nice! The option of raw diced onions and jalapeños was a nice touch along with the other salsas which weren't bad. Overall I'd say this place would do in a pinch unless you're from around here and know of a better spot nearby.

The food was really tasty! The manager was extremely helpful in navigating the menu with me in search of gluten friendly options. Their salsa and toppings bar was fresh and fully stocked. The decor is slightly outdated but the staff is friendly and kind. I would eat here again.

What's up with the "medium" amount of stars here? I like otherYelpers know La Salsa from Southern Cali. Always a good product at each location. What I (even they) like to call "Fresh Mexican". Not too saucy, just good tasting food. Apt of the flavor will come from there EXCELLENT salsa bar.... But, I can attest to mucho flavor coming from their marinated steak burritos and their Baja Tacos. Always great tasting and cooked right. Sadly in the bay area everyone thinks a Taqueria is THE way to get Mexican. No problem with that... Nothing like old meat and etc sitting on the hot tables in your burritos. (No thanks) La Salsa: Great fresh Mexican to be had here.

It's actually very good for a chain Mexican restaurant. I had the shrimp burrito and was very good. Good portion too. Coming back for sure.

The only think did change is the price but the wouldn't stop me. You know how most places fall off after a while? Not this one. From day one to now, it's been straight consistency. The burrito hits every time no skimping, flavors on point. Honestly, it's more than just food at this point--it's a tradition. Hard to find something that stays this solid for two decades. While the burrito was definitely "super" in size, the proportions were way off. It was heavily packed with rice and beans--which were fine--but they clearly skimped on the carne asada. When you're paying for a premium burrito, you expect the meat to be the star of the show, not a background character. It felt more like a vegetarian burrito with a few guest appearances by the steak. If you're looking for a massive meal and don't mind the filler, this hits the spot, but for those of us looking for a balanced meat-to-rice ratio, this one missed the mark. Hopefully, it was just an off day for the line cook.

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.

When they're on point with your order it's a really tasty burrito. I think it was a winner when I got the salsa throughout the burrito and not just on one side. Also no bones is definitely and always appreciated. When it's not their best day there will be a tiny bone in your burrito. I told the bf this and he was like at least you know it's fresh cut meat (wft?!). I'm cool with no bones. I do find their burritos on the salty side, which I guess for some that means flavor. I sometimes enjoy their meats but I've had a lot of better places. I tried their passion fruit aqua fresca the first time I went there and it was really good. But every other time it's been bad. I think and hope they mashed up the seeds from the passion fruit into the drink. Also I think they supplement the drink with pineapple juice. I'm cool with Kerns, but don't call it passion fruit when it's mainly pineapple. Located by the railroad tracks on Hesperian. They have their own parking lot. They have a lot of bad drivers as customers so please be cautious and these people think they can back up park too. Not sure on the pricing since this is the bf's fave spot so he treats. But judging on previous reviews it's market pricing. Overall it's okay for the area and we live down the street. But I honestly crave other places.
