Food was extremely satisfying of the new menu items and the drinks were on point kudos to the bartender

I walked in around 1pm on a Wednesday and was seated immediately. The server was really kind and attentive. The inside looked nice too! There was a loaded menu and everything sounded good. After reading the lunch menu and the regular menu, I got the burrito ahogado with al pastor and 1/2 green sauce 1/2 red sauce. It might be one of the best wet burritos I've ever had. I think I preferred the green sauce, but both tasted great. I don't live in the area to visit often, but I will definitely come back again when in the East Bay! read more

This place may have the worst Mexican food I have had in the East Bay. The serve enchiladas with diced chicken. The sauce was terrible. The food felt like it was made with zero love or care. The chips and salsa were good. The waitress was good but the food left me feeling terrible about the money we spent on the bill. The big miss is the sauce they use on the chili relleno and enchiladas. Its just awful. The taco meat was even worse. It was dry, overcooked and lacked any flavor. Such a disappointing food experience. I had been once before and the guacamole was good at happy hour. Even that seemed to have changed. The guacamole on this visit had the taste and texture if the prebought you would pick up at a grocery store. And the prices are crazy high. No bueno!!! We wont be back. read more

We had an amazing experience here for the second time within the month! The servers are always friendly, and our waitress, Anjelica, remembered my order the second time. The margaritas are always strong, and the food is flavorful and filling. The ambiance is always nice with the music, but not overwhelming where you can't hear each other talk. Every time I come here I feel they have updated and renovated the restaurant, it has gotten modern and more well put together each time. The waitress was very attentive and also very kind when we had made an order mistake. She allowed us to exchange our order no issues whatsoever. I ordered a burrito which was absolutely delicious. This place is incredible for its Mexican food. The chef has an excellent presentation but then backs it up with the tastes and quantity of food. I have tried several items and will keep going back. Been here twice and both times the food tastes fresh and high quality and more importantly flavorful and delicious. Last time i got their chicken tortilla soup and ceviche. Highly recommend. Service is fast and the staff are nice. The drinks are really good and they have weekday drink specials. Im surprised this place isn't more busy, definitely a hidden gem. The music and vibes are amazing. Will definitely be coming back and telling friends and family. It's more like 3.9 stars, not 4, but definitely not 3 stars. Service is great, the employees care about tending to you. Love the music they play in the background. Someone likes Christian Nodal, haha. The food is alright. My boyfriend enjoyed their agua chile, but I found the chicken they used in their mole enchiladas didn't go well with their mole. We recently visited the Tequila Bar & Grill in Dublin, and this weekend we thought we'd try their San Leandro location. We were not disappointed! Of course we loaded up on oysters - both raw and cooked. Same cooked oyster flavor options as the Dublin location, and at Ocean Oyster Bar & Grill in Union City, their sister restaurant. So yummy. I really think if I had to pick just one food to live on for the rest of my life, it would be oysters, lol. Service was excellent. Very friendly, enthusiastic, attentive staff, so refreshing to see. Luis took great care of us! Great vibe all around, with happy customers too. Nice, spacious restaurant, this would be a good place to host a party. We will return. read more

We have been to the location in Dublin a few times as well as their sister restaurant in Union City, Ocean Oyster Bar and Grill. (And why are they called sister restaurants. Why not brothers, partners or step kids?????) All 3 locations are great. It's nice to have this one closer to home when we get the oysters urge, which is all the time!!!! So the address is on 14th but we turn on Estudillo and park in the nice big parking lot and use the back door. The oysters are always very fresh and it usually a 2 dozen hit or more before we get out of there along with the cooked oysters. The cooked ones are great, maybe stay away from the Diabla unless you can handle the heat. Really, bring the fire extinguisher. A really nice chill environment for oysters and other food and a drink in San Leandro. read more

For starters, the place was very clean and the staff were nice! I can't remember the name but that cheese appetizer was 2/10! I give it a 2 because the chorizo was very good but the cheese was basically a melted mozzarella cheese stick. My mom and I thought it would be more of a creamy kind of dip. It really wasn't our favorite at all and it didn't look like the photo that was presented from the chef. My meal was very good! The chicken enchiladas with green salsa was 10/10! Prices are way too high for the food and drinks. Came here recently and spent $160 on two entrees and two kids meals. Drink prices were over the top and charge $6 for orange juice for kids. We have dined at this restaurant for years before COVID. At that time it was under different ownership and many of our favorite staff no longer worked there and the atmosphere wasn't the same. We recently returned for breakfast, lunch and dinner and were blown away by the new Tequila Bar & Grill! The staff is so friendly, the food is over the top delicious and the ambiance is so much more festive, especially in the bar area. Honestly, this is an upscale Mexican restaurant. The Chicken Mole with two different Mole sauces was amazing! And, they have our favorite dessert, Pastel de Tres Leche!! We will be back soon! read more

The restrooms always clean and smell great All their drinks are delicious, perfectly mixed. The food is the best, my favourite is their shrimp tacos with a creamy sauce , my sister can't get enough of it. They have a prawns plate with a sweet and spicy peanut butter sauce that is to die for.
