From their original spot in South Beach, to their expanded area in Brickell and this one in North Beach, La Sandwicherie is a solid place for a quick bite whether after drinks or after the full moon party. I most recently stopped by for a bite at this location a few blocks from North Shore Open Space Park, a.k.a. the full moon party. They have a few outside tables as well as an inside counter seating area. You typically order your sandwich & smoothie, pay and then your belly gets happy. They have a few regular sandwiches that they make fresh (i.e. not premade), as well as a "build your own" option on the menu. My go to is their Italian sub on a crispy baguette. It comes stuffed with ham, prosciutto, and salami as well as a slice of cheese. You do get to customize the green stuff, which for me is fresh lettuce, tomatoes, red peppers, and their little cornichons (baby pickles). As far as dipping sauces, they have the usual oil and balsamic as well as a lightly creamy vinaigrette, which to me had a slight hint of spiciness. I loved it! Going for my sweet tooth, their açai bowl is really packed with the açai paste, granola and fresh berries. The staff is pretty friendly and gets my order out on time. It's open late, however there's a 10% automatic night shift fee that's added to your bill if you order late. Service was ok, but I was there at 2am-I don't expect most people working this late to be very pleasant. They also run out of baguettes late at night. I had to order a sandwich on a croissant because they ran out of all their other breads and was still charged the croissant fee. Charging the upcharge fee when no other bread is available seems kinda unfair but if it's super late and you're super hungry, what else are you gonna do I guess. read more

I haven't visited their other locations in years and was very happy to see this new location near where I live. They have an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads, smoothies and yogurt shakes. I tried the strawberry-banana shake. Fruits are very fresh. Also I tried the Alaskan which is cured salmon and Dewey mozzarella. Absolutely delicious. Especially with the baguette rolls. They offer a wide array of toppings, and they don't skimp. The restaurant has their French vinegarette that you can choose to add to the sandwich. It is their own recipe. You can eat inside or outside. The location is in between two shopping centers so you should find a spot. Friendly staff. A must try. I was excited to try this shop because they had a really inviting atmosphere and they open late hours. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. I like their sour vinaigrette-style sauce that you can add to the sandwich. I tried both a turkey with mango sandwich and a salmon lox sandwich. Both were very large and came with fresh vegetables. The interior wall murals are colorful and fun. Service was quick. This place is located right by the beach so it makes for a great stop to get picnic or beach food. They have a great menu with many options and lots of customizable sandwiches. The bad: The sandwich was hard to eat because it wouldn't close and the toppings inside were cut in such chunky pieces. One of the sandwiches had whole gherkins in it and it fell apart while eating. It was a lot of chewing and the bread was very big and dry. It lacked crunch and flavor. It isn't a sandwich I'd consider getting again unless it was for convenience for the beach. I spent 7 wonderful days on Miami Beach and visited this place every single day. The staff was incredibly nice. The food was always good. I mainly just ordered it to go since I was staying around the corner and like to eat in silence while doom scrolling on my phone, but the one day that I did eat breakfast in the cafe, I really enjoyed it. I sat at a little table tucked against the wall and enjoyed my Greek salad and a REAL macchiato. The salad was packed with fresh veggies and was absolutely delicious.
