Wow, wow, wow!!!! I can't even begin to describe how gorgeous this hotel is!! It's beautiful Spanish decor is so elegant and tastefully done. First off the sweetest front desk concierge Ruben greeted me with a special champagne drink upon my arrival. When he came to my car to get me and greeted me with his dazzling and inviting smile, I knew this place was like no other. Ruben really cares for his guests and absolutely loves his job. Finding this kind of hospitality that Ruben provided is hard to find these days, he deserves to be the General Manager of this place! He went above and beyond for us and made us feel like family, he also gave us a brief history lesson of the hotel and surroundings. There was also another young gentleman with glasses at the front who was a darling as well, he too was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and shared some interesting facts.The desert landscape inside the hotel is immaculate and the rooms are spot less. I was taken here as a birthday gift celebration and it was just devine. The amazing claw bathtub was just everything to me! It is my life's dream to have one of these tubs and this beauty is perfectly situated in the outside patio area completely private. We wound up here after our room at the Del Marcos next door had issues. I hate to pack my stuff again unless I'm packing to leave but this seemed like an upgrade so I agreed to move. The property is small but quite nice. Pool is kinda crammed in there, with fewer chairs than guests should the hotel be sold out, and it's right in front of the restaurant, putting your swimsuit ass on display for anyone looking to dine. But there is a spa past the "guests only" sign, away from the pool, so that's at least an option. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Reminded me of a casita. Shower is huge and has great pressure. Pocket doors all around, nice. Hot tub in back is killer and having a fire pit next to it makes the backyard lounging even more inviting on a crisp night. Free breakfast is full of solid choices. Not-free food and drinks are good but, holy hell, is it overpriced. I hate that we're at a place where drinks are $20 on average for alcohol that hasn't been getting more expensive. I just drink less so good for me, I suppose? I got a surf & turf for $55 and it was flank steak and about 15% of it was fat. It came with three shrimp. Sad. Excellent service. Loved our stay here at La Serena Villas. We were visiting Palm Springs to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary which just happened to be over the Valentines/Presidents Day weekend. We stayed in the spa suite 14 and on arrival we were told it was the best on the property. So spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and living area were wonderful to have in addition to the large bedroom with king bed. The private patio with in ground hot tub and fire pit were so enjoyed. Suite 14 is tucked at the back of the property behind the spa and it was quiet and lovely. Upon arrival we were greeted in such a friendly and informative way and were given a glass of complimentary champagne. It immediately made us feel welcome and in good hands. We enjoyed the grab and go bikes to explore town and get breakfast with a little exercise. Each morning breakfast basket was dropped at our door with yogurt, granola, muffins, orange juice and Vietnamese coffee which was delicious. How lovely it was that they did this for us. The main pool area was quiet and we enjoyed the day beds both days. It's such a quaint hotel there was no need to worry about finding a space to sit by the pool. The restaurant also provides poolside service so we could order a drink or food while enjoying the pool. The location was excellent and close to the Main Street in downtown. Loved it and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and romantic getaway in a boutique hotel close to downtown. Plenty of parking out front! read more

I recently stayed at La Serena Villas for 4 days with my boyfriend. We were celebrating our birthdays and did extensive research on where to stay. Ultimately, we landed here. I think a more realistic rating is a 3.75 but I rounded up as it is in between. Upon arriving the front desk was welcoming and quickly got us checked in but I was still waiting to hear back from a manager on the discrepancy on our bill. We paid in full prior to arriving and the resort fee was included in the total price. I called a day prior to our arrival and nobody could confirm so they asked me to send pictures of the confirmation and where it said it was included. I sent it over and promptly received an email that someone would get back to me. That the manager had to look it over. Nobody ever reached back out and when we arrived and I asked, still nobody could give me an answer. Ultimately, we never heard from anyone until we checked out which wasn't really acceptable but they did end up honoring it at checkout. The room was very nice, however I will say the backyard was super crammed, the backyard tub wasn't clean as there were leaves and debris in it and I felt the towels could've been fresher. They were quite worn and I expected better for the level of luxury La Serena has. The pool was epic and the free day beds were an awesome touch. We also ate at the restaurant, Azucar and have to say the food was quite tasty. Jose, the manager, was absolutely phenomenal. The other employees that worked there weren't "bad" by any means- you could just kind of tell they were a lot less enthusiastic the Jose. I get it- it's the off season and I'm sure the money isn't as good as peak season but we're great tippers and felt we could've received better overall service poolside and inside the restaurant. To reiterate though- Jose was absolutely phenomenal and I would totally want him to run any business I owned. Very personable and professional. He knocked it out of the park for us. A few final notes- they did keep the pool open all night and we were allowed to swim late into the evening as we were mindful not to be disruptive. That was so relaxing and the weather was perfect. The only other main complaint was that the AC didn't really work in the villa. It wasn't too bad but there were a few times where my boyfriend was sweating a lot and mentioned how uncomfortable he was. I know that desert heat is no joke but once again, this is a luxury establishment. The guests need AC in their rooms that was working. Overall, I do recommend La Serena Villas. We had a wonderful time and would come back! Just a few things need to be addressed. That by no means led us to have a less than enjoyable stay. read more

We had a very nice stay in a villa.i would suggest for a special occasion. It is pricey. The only disappointment was that nothing special was in our room for my husbands birthday. The actual hotel and property is beautiful and very relaxing. I stayed in a suite with a hot tub which is definitely the move. So pretty! As far as the service... meh I ordered room service, food was nothing special and over priced. Service was weird a clunky. Go off campus for a massage. We got a couples massage here and we were maybe 10 minutes late (we're on vacation) and we were met by frantic ladies who immediately stressed us out and lectured us. Then delivered the most fluff and buff massage I've ever had for 200$ each. Cold lotion, kept breaking contact. Not therapeutic or relaxing. Had the audacity to ask for an additional tip on top of the included 20% gratuity. It's a great spot but not 4 star at all. read more

My wife and I stayed here for a few days and it was wonderful. We were greeted at the front desk and check in was a breeze. They showed us to our villa and explained where things were on the grounds. We loved the quiet and slower pace of the smaller boutique hotel. It was our first time staying here or at any boutique hotel. Whenever we've stayed in this area, we go to the larger resort places. This was way more to our liking. We spent the majority of our time around the pool and got lunch from Azucar. It was fabulous. Downtown was a short walk for shopping and restaurants. Wow, we had such a great experience at La Serena Villas. From the moment we walked through the entryway we were treated so well by everyone working there. The front desk, the bartender, the people who worked at the pool and housekeeping. This place is desert luxury accommodations. Very clean, not overcrowded, quiet and beautifully decorated. Included is a trendy restaurant with a rooftop bar. Pool cabanas with refreshment stations throughout the property. Every room includes a PRIVATE patio with fire pit and outdoor tub. Complimentary breakfast baskets delivered to our room. My boyfriend and I kept commenting on how happy we were to have found this place after our first reservation didn't work out. I think we lucked out since it was the middle of the week. Absolutely must go back, as staying for election night when you are deeply invested in the outcome I didn't take full advantage. First and foremost the staff is incredible and so welcoming, amazing attention to detail, thoughtful, caring and professional. A former employee Alexandra who now works at another property of theirs hideaway in Santa Barbara (also amazing) turned me on to this property and I felt so special that she reached out and tried to make sure my stay was excellent. Holly left a lovely note in our room with a lovely bottle of bubbly. From check in to check out was flawless. the grounds, pool, and room are just divine. Really feels like you are far away from it all, lush, serene, and beautiful. We had a spa room with our own outdoor hot tub which was so lovely for privacy and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need, and the living room was beautiful eclectic design and so comfortable. The bed and sheets were top tier and I got good rest. WE had lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the hotel. Once by the pool, once in our room, and once at the restaurant Azucar, All were delicious with fresh ingredients and a lovely selection. I also like the breakfast basket they drop at our door, too cute. It really felt like a place that I could keep coming back to. My husband and I stayed here twice, once in November 2021 before it was under Kirkwood management and again in November 2024. I'm sad to say the change in management seems to have led to a drop in quality. At its core, La Serena Villas is still nice. The villas are private, quiet, and comfortable. Each villa's private outdoor lounge space with soaking tub and fire place is hard to beat. But the small details really disappoint. The bathmat was fraying; the towels at the pool to cover the daybeds were ripped, frayed, and stained; our room was supposed to have a mini fridge but didn't; service from staff was hit or miss (everyone was friendly but we were supposed to get a breakfast basket the first morning but had to text to remind them after it hadn't shown up). Where we saw the biggest drop in quality was the breakfast basket--in 2021 it included good-quality yogurt, granola, pastries, fruit, and hard boiled eggs, along with real silverware and cloth napkins. In 2024 it was gross cheap yogurt (Yoplait and the like), pastries, apples, and plastic silverware. At the La Serena Villas price point, small details matter--especially when multiple ones miss the mark. If it were $200/night cheaper stuff like this would be easier to shrug off. But it doesn't feel like you're getting a ~$700/night experience. If you can look past that, then you'll enjoy yourself. But I don't think I'll be coming back; in 2021 it was a dream vacation, but in 2024 it was a bit disappointing. read more

This was our second time staying at the villas and the first time we stayed was April 2022 and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. But this time we came, a little over a year later in August 2023, and some changes were noted... We actually decided to stay in larger Villa 19 this time, which is one of the more expensive villas, and we're not sure why the hotel skimped on details that we got in the smaller villa 16 when, we stayed a year earlier... for example, there was no welcoming little tequila bottle with shots waiting for us in our room, like we got when we stayed in Villa 16. And then later we noticed housekeeping taking that detail to other rooms. So why didn't we get the welcome tequila shots? We checked in early so the front desk offered to store our luggage until our room was ready. And once our room was ready, my husband went to check it out and it was a good thing he looked because he noticed that the front desk brought somebody else's luggage into our room! Obviously, it's a mistake, but it's kind of a serious mistake when you think about people traveling with travelers checks, jewelry, electronics and such. Those people never knew that their luggage was mistakenly put in our room because my husband quickly brought their luggage back to the lobby and told Ivan of the mistake. My husband took our luggage back to our room. Another detail that annoyed me was the first time we stayed there we were offered Lollia brand bubble bath upon check-in. This time we weren't given any and so my husband went to the front desk to ask if we could have bubble bath brought to our room. I mean there are two bathtubs in these villas so bubble bath should be a no-brainer. However, when housekeeping brought a little bottle of "bubble bath", it was not Lollia brand anymore. Which is NOT a big deal. If the hotel wants to use their own brand of bubble bath, that's completely fine. The problem was it was shampoo in a bottle! it did not get bubbly and there were thick particles floating, which is what happens when you dump regular shampoo into your bath. My husband took the bottle to the front and told Ivan at the front desk that this was not bubble bath and he looked at us and said "well that's what we always give people"....that's unfortunate. Ivan, of course, then referred to the little boutique shop in the lobby and told us we could purchase Lollia bubble bath if we wanted to. Thanks but no thanks. I actually have Lollia bubble bath at home and didn't need to buy any for our three night stay. Especially considering this was a small detail they used to offer complementary. One would think after they mixed up our luggage with someone else's that this was a small concession they could have given us, but I guess it was asking too much. To surprise me for my birthday, which was why we were staying here, my husband booked what he thought was going to be a surprise massage at the spa. Now while I understand that they need an email to send confirmations to, my husband did ask that it be a SURPRISE. That would've been the moment where the front desk should have asked my husband for his email address so that they didn't accidentally send the massage confirmation to me. Obviously I ended up knowing about the surprise when I got the email, but strangely the email was not even addressed to the right name. I was confused because they sent it to someone else. But with MY email address. Good grief... Small details, but just stuff that really sticks out. And speaking of small details, they no longer offer slippers in the rooms. Or maybe it was just our room. It just kind of feels like we got the short end of the stick when we saw other rooms getting their welcoming tequila shots and ladies coming to the pool with their hotel branded canvas bags, that they usually leave in your room, but obviously just another detail that was left out of our room. But you can't go wrong with the on-site restaurant! Azucar and their staff are top-notch. I was offered a Gift Card by the GM after she heard of our less than ideal stay. Appreciate that! read more

La Serena Villas is a great place to visit whether you are an overnight guest or just visiting. They have a great restaurant placed at the back end of the pool surrounded by Spanish style architecture and luscious tropical plants. This property is absolutely gorgeous and I would come here for the ambiance alone. My review is based on my experience with the Spa as I was not an overnight guest. My fiancé had scheduled us a couples massage for the afternoon. After checking in at the front desk we were escorted to the Spa area by our massage therapist. Unfortunately, only one therapist was available for the message as all of the therapist are independent contractors and not employees. Although to no fault of there own as we had booked the appointment that morning. This wasn't a problem as this allowed us to each enjoy the cabanas and hot tub while the other received a massage. The massage room itself smelt really good and the massage tables had a heating pad so it was extremely comfortable. Very easy to feel relaxed and listen to the light meditation music in the background. The massage itself was very good. My fiancé enjoyed it a lot as it focused on a lot of pressure points and every muscle received some attention. I personally enjoy more of a deep tissue massage but I did enjoy it overall. All in all, at that price point, I think I had a good experience and would do it again. After touring the property I would absolutely try staying here at some point. read more

They provide an opt-in complimentary breakfast fruit basket with fruit, dates, muffins, and yogurt, and granola. We booked the Happy Couple massage package. One thing to make note, if you want to book spa services, do it days in advance because they hire 3rd party masseuse to come so it's subject to their availability. We booked the night before and only one masseuse was able to come so we had separate massages which was fine but given the short amount of time we had there, it took double the time out of the day so just something to be aware of. They were very accommodating to various requests including switching out the bedding prior to arrival because I'm allergic to feathers and they had gluten free items on the menu as well. This was the luxury desert experience we've been looking for. It's the privacy and space of an Airbnb with the service and accommodation of a luxury hotel. Can't wait to go back! read more

La Serena has changed hands since our last visit--and while it is different, it's still nice. I do think for the cost of rooms--particularly the larger suites and spa suites--it seems that there could be inclusion of some additional "touches". For example, the prior breakfasts that were delivered included DELICIOUS overnight oats, freshly squeezed orange juice and more. There was also a very nice bottle of tequila in the past--replaced now with Cuervo Silver. There simply could be inexpensive touches added here and there to make guest feel special as the price point is high. It's wonderful but could be even better with a sharper focus on details. This place was exactly what I was looking for during Covid. What we wanted was a hotel/resort with individual bungalow type of room with private entrance/exit and an enclosed patio area that was dog friendly. This place delivered all that and then some, with a little kitchenette, spacious refrigerator, outside bath tub, fire pit, and breakfast delivered to your door every morning. This was the first time we had stayed outside of our home since Covid started, and I'm glad we picked a place that was secluded enough and clean enough that we felt safe at all times. We made a good use of our fire pit at night, eating s'mores and drinking wine. It really was the perfect relaxing getaway. Few tips: - the kitchenette has microwave, toaster, wine glasses, cutlery, plates, salt and pepper, keurig, paper towels, knife, really everything you'd need. - the entrance to the hotel can be confusing since the sign in the front is hard to miss and they don't have their own parking lot. They recommend parking on the street. - the pet fee is $100/stay. - if you forget to bring alcohol, there is a BevMo right across the street. - downtown Palm Springs is literally next block over, very convenient for walking and exploring. - breakfast consists of yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, and muffins. Was lucky enough to spend my honeymoon here with my wife. After a very stressful week leading up to the wedding we both knew we needed some R&R and La Serena Villas provided just that. Everything at the property was clean and well maintained. The room provided all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay. With only 20 rooms we knew it was going to be a quiet trip and we were very happy to enjoy the pool and spa to ourselves most of the time. We were provided with a complimentary champagne as well as a complimentary bottle of tequila to celebrate our occasion! Each morning we were able to make a complimentary breakfast order which included items such as breakfast burritos (A MUST TRY), frittatas, oats, yogurts, juices and coffee. I've always heard of La Serena and seen some great pictures on IG. It was on my hotel list but I didn't know I would end up staying there so soon. I was planning on staying next door at The Avalon but I was very satisfied with La Serena. I stayed two nights in villa number 10 which is bigger than most of the villas and has a little kitchen. I was very impressed with my room from the bedding to the cool refrigerator. There is also a complimentary breakfast which is a nice touch. This is an adult hotel so you will not see any kids running around!!! There's more I could say but I'm sure it's been said already. I would for sure stay here again but probably not in the summer time. Staff was great, the pool was a guest favorite and the restaurant is a hot spot for all the pretty women. I want to address some issues that other Yelpers had. 1. Depending on your room you may not have a table to eat at. 2. I was in Room 10 which had a table inside and out on the patio. 3. I didn't have any issues hearing my neighbor or loud music. 4. My clawfoot tub did have a bath caddy. 5. You can always bring your own bath salts and bubble bath! 6. This is not a budget hotel so stop complaining! 7. It's probably always best to book directly with the hotel. 8. To really enjoy La Serena I suggest staying at least two nights. Is this the best hotel in Palm Springs? Hmm I don't know because I haven't stayed at all of them but from the ones I've stayed at I would say yes. I like Villa Royale but I love La Serena and The Weekend is very cool and low key but La Serena is something special! read more

This is probably the best hotel/resort experience I've had. Check in was smooth and accommodating. The villas are beautiful and private. The pool is gorgeous and aesthetic. The massage at the Whispers spa was relaxing and healing. The restaurant Azucar was delicious and had impeccable service. We stayed here for 2 nights in November only because we had to use a gift certificate before it expired. From booking until today, we have had a horrible experience with their "manager" Holly and with their inexperienced, disrespectful staff. First, they double charged me, and it took many emails and calls to obtain a credit. Upon check-in, we had a zero balance because we had already paid. The inexperienced seeming young woman at the front desk said she needed my card to put a "small hold" for "incidentals. " We had no incidentals. When we returned home, I looked online at my credit card charges and saw a charge from La Serena for more than the amount of our entire 2 night stay. When I called, I was told it was in error and would fall off within 3-5 days. Two weeks later, the bogus charge is still there. When I attempt to call they either put me on indefinite hold or hang up on me. They do not respond to my emails. I am now forced to pursue further action. Insane! The hotel itself was probably nice when it opened, but it shows neglect and seems dated. There are very few amenities. The breakfast bag is a joke for a hotel charging this high price. It contained several unhealthy, cheap items, all inedible. The service in the restaurant was horrible, and the food was mediocre and overpriced. Even if we weren't experiencing horrible customer service issues, we would never stay here or at any Kirkwood Collection property again, and I'm telling all of my contacts not to stay here. My stay was 9/26 to 9/30/2024. This property advertises itself as luxurious and high end, other than their rates, it is far from that. I booked a King Villa, arrived the evening of my check in date close to 6pm. The room was a major let down for the price. There was hair on the pillow case and once I pulled back the bedspread, additional hair on the fitted sheet. Towels and linens are dingy and visibly old. I.e. holes in the sheets in addition to the hair, and bath towels with frayed edges. They provide a "make up" towel on the vanity, which was stained. At check in, you are advised that the front desk will communicate with you via text message. These messages come from a few different phone numbers. I found it odd that at the time of check in, the staff member helping me said I'd get a message asking if I'd like complimentary breakfast and that I need to reply. I felt it was odd because, why couldn't she ask me then? Also, for upwards of $400/night, why wouldn't you just give these to the guests? What she failed to tell me is that I'd get separate texts to confirm whether or not you'd like housekeeping services. The first night I definitely replied YES to having housekeeping the next morning since I was frustrated with the condition of the room. I specified I'd be leaving the room at 1130am, and received a reply that they would pass this on to the housekeeping staff. The next morning I am woken up before 1100am by housekeeping, I asked her to come back at 1130 and that I replied to the housekeeping text with that time. She said ok. She then RETURNED BEFORE 1130, I then felt really frustrated and rushed. The second night I opted to omit a reply to the housekeeping text, thinking I could sleep in and no one would come by, but alas- I woke up to housekeeping pounding on the door before 1100am the second day. The exterior patio is cute, but just that. Cushions on the outdoor furniture need to be replaced. The cute soaking tub you see in many pictures, full of crawling bugs and debris from trees, clearly no effort to clean thus area either. There is no day spa here, their spa services are booked by phone only. The process is a bit inconvenient because you have to call the front desk to request services, they then reach out to their massage therapist and/or aesthetician to confirm their availability, then call you back to confirm. I got a 1 hour massage and 1 hour facial. These are down in a small room right by the jacuzzi, so any patron using the jacuzzi, you hear it all. I'd say my star is for the nice ladies who provided spa services. I am honestly ashamed to say I spent too much money booking this place, it was a total let down. If you are looking for a great, relazing experience in Palm Springs, DO NOT come here. read more

Just like a dream... One of my greatest loves is the desert. Palm Springs is our other home, it is strangers who remain in our residence at this time. The upside to this is we have stayed at many Airbnb's, hotels and inns across the city and surrounding areas on our annual trips to Palm Springs and beyond. We have a long running tradition of attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival, in addition to other festivals in the area. On our last trip in January, we stayed at La Serena Villas and couldn't have been happier. It was pet friendly and had amenities galore. Spinning on that dizzy edge... Who can resist a private patio, with outdoor fire pit and clawfoot soaking tub on the terrace? Add a comfortable bed, cozy robes and an on-site restaurant with room service. And, let's not forget wine, beer or champagne upon arrival, tequila set up in-room and treats for the dog of your life. Just like heaven... La Serena Villas is the cure if you want to get away. They are one of the partner hotels for the upcoming "Palm Springs Away" event series. We haven't made our reservations for this event weekend, but I can say La Serena is one of the best lodging options for the PSLife! My husband and I stayed for our anniversary/birthday a few weeks ago and everything was great, the room, the food and the service. On our drive home we were looking at our calendar to see when we could go back. But all that was ruined when I received my receipt thru email, I was billed for 2 massages we never received. I have been emailing, calling but neither Alexandria nor Misty the manager have returned my email or phone call. It's sad that our stay was ruined for $300. Sucks!!! So my recommendation is to check your receipt before leaving so you can double check all charges. read more

This review is a month overdue!!! Thanks to a TikTok I saw last year, I envisioned myself staying for a weekend. Months pass by and my lovely bf decides to plan a wonderful 4 year anniversary getaway for us. Being treated to a wonderful luxury hotel getaway for being with him for 4 years?!? Uhm yes please!! Last weekend of July we headed our way from Orange County to Palm Springs. We called ahead to make sure if we could leave our luggage before our check in time so we can make our way to the Zoo. We arrived and the gentlemen at the front desk was kind and let us know where to leave our things. He told us he would text us when our room was ready! Our room was ready before the regular check in time which was amazing!!! We arrived and to our surprise we had been upgraded to the executive king suite! What better way than to kick our weekend getaway! We were offered champagne while we waited for our room to be ready! The lovely lady at the counter gave us a quick tour as we made our way to our villa! We arrived to our place and was taken a back of the gorgeous place. We had a mini tequila bottle waiting for us and a bottle of champagne, both complementary of course! The congratulations note was a very sweet gesture from the hotel!! Made our way to the pool after we were settled in our new home away from home! You must get cocktails while lounging at the pool! The watermelon margarita was PERFECT for the weather. We made sure to take some time by the pool all three days we were there! We also took advantage of the complementary breakfast baskets that they had to offer. It came with coffee or tea, orange juice, yogurt with granola, muffin, and a croissant. Everything was delicious! We also had dinner at the hotels restaurant, Azucar. Loved the location of the hotel. It was a walking distance from the many bars and restaurants in down town. Parking was also a breeze since the back exit was literally right outside our room door. In conclusion, if you snooze on this place, you lose!!!! I can't wait to be back and stay at this very gorgeous place again. The staff was what did it for me! But if you book directly through hotel website, they provide 10% discount and 20% for returning stay. * Accommodation: continental breakfast, free self parking, room service, filtered water bottles, free wifi, welcome wine bottle, heated pool, in-room Keurig coffee and supplies, in-room good size fridge, patio with fireplace and outdoor tub, high-end toiletries, hair dryer, spa robes and slippers, big flat screen smart TV with HBO and Showtime in addition to other cable channels. * Location: in the middle of the strip but on the quiet street. Walking distance to main strip, PS museum, Bevmo and CVS, etc. * Motif: Mediterranean chic. * Sevice: Laura, GM is awesome. Everyone is nice and accommodating. We saw this place a year ago when visiting PS and had lunch at Azucar restaurant. I was hypnotized by their cute lobby and beautiful pool and wondering how it'd like to stay here. They have 4 room classes: 10 standard king, 4 studio king, 2 exclusive king, and 2 spa room suite. It is adult only hotel, pet friendly ($200 per stay pet fee). They also do not allow group reservations more than 2 room unless you are willing to rent out the whole resort. We stayed at standard room, room #6 and then #12 (since it was last minute reservation and they were pretty much soldout). Room #6 with longer length and narrower width, has swing at front porch, and tucked away bathroom. Room #12 is wider and narrower depth, sort of connecting to room #11 and does not have swing. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, staff do not clean your room during your stay unless you have special request but they will bring new towels and supplies if you need it. The room is very clean, smells fresh and spalike. The patio with fireplace and tub is very cute. We enjoy having breakfast and dinner out in patio with fireplace on. The continental breakfast is brought to your room whenever you call for in morning, in a basket with 2 coffee, Naked fruit bottles, yogurt, some fresh berries, and muffins... not too shabby. The pool is good size and pretty. Loung chaise is first-come-first-serve. There are two daybed available for $150 per day. Staff are wearing mask. Mask is required in public space but not when you are in the pool. During our stay, we did not dine at azucar restaurant since we did not make reservation in advance. We did dine there a year ago. It is very trendy and cute place. Menu is pretty simple, fresh, innovative. Dinner is about $30-40 per main dish. We really like their cauliflower risotto, water mellon salad and ahi bruchetta! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will come back. I would definitely recommend this place for romantic date, R&R trip, anniversary! read more
