The amenities were outstanding, including an outdoor sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and pool. They also offered a complimentary breakfast each morning, and the cozy on-site bar was perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening. What truly made the experience special was the incredible staff; they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout my stay. I also loved how The Dive encouraged guests to disconnect from their phones and the constant pull of screens, making it easy to be present and fully unwind. Everything about the venue is spectacular. Amenities, rooms, outdoor sauna, cold plunge pool, and morning breakfasts were tasty. What made the stay even more special was the incredible staff. My wife and I just got back from a fantastic stay at DIVE in Palm Springs, which received a Michelin key rating in 2024. It's a beautiful adults-only boutique hotel with just 11 rooms set amongst a beautiful outdoor space including a pool, poolside lounge chairs, and daybeds nestled under trees throughout the property. the gardens and the orchard are perfect spaces to relax under the shade of a tree and take a nap. The entire experience was a vibe! Robert welcomed us and our puppy with a puppy welcome bag and two complimentary glasses of wine before escorting us to our room. We enjoyed having a patio out the pack, and the beds and linens are comfortable. There are many boutique hotel options (some better than others), so we're always looking for something that is unique. There is a complimentary poolside coffee and tea station as well as a complimentary breakfast to enjoy in the garden each morning. The hotel has a very chill, attentive vibe with extra friendly staff ensuring your stay is top notch. This is the first time I have slept on natural linen sheets (always thought I was a sateen girl) and it was heavenly--with the mattress being nice and cozy (I need to have a serious thought about buying linen sheets for my home because I prioritize the coziness of my bed and bedroom!). They have a decent size pool that is kept at 85 degrees and the jacuzzi at 104. Misters are ongoing to keep you cool while sunbathing which is appreciated in the desert! The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed and have a comfortable stay. Huge shout out to Ken who was so welcoming and can also make a mean spicy margarita! I recommend not passing on ordering from the cocktail bar because the drinks are done exceptionally well! TIP: Small hotel boutique of 11 rooms so book in advance. I regret my stay here !The room does not match the advertised photos, presenting as a small, with minimal natural light, with only two small windows near the front door without screens to open the window due to bugs at the end of a hallway. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, and the thermostat malfunctions, causing the unit to continuously emit cold air at a high speed directly at the bed. Additionally, the bathroom floor is improperly sloped, resulting in water accumulation and flooding during showers. The bed is uneven due to wear, impacting comfort. While the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, and the outdoor pool area is well-maintained and nice. Not worth the price paid. read more

This little place is soooo charming! When you first walk-in, it's like walking into an enchanted universe. It is so inviting and it takes a minute to even try and take it all in. So many little details and every square foot of space is used properly. I found this gem and took my husband for his 50th. In advance I ordered som add-one to the room. Strawberries, a charcuterie board and balloons. They nailed it! Everything here is so thoughtful. I see why so many reviewers make heavy note of the French vibe. We feel like this is our own private community with other friendly vacationers. You can order your petite déjeuner via text or walk up to the little kitchen window. Same with your drink orders. Everything on the property is just a few steps away. I like how it seems to draw a more mature crowd of professionals and we are all here for the same thing...relax and restore. Now, the staff...WOW, they are lovely. They have a genuine friendliness and are very attentive. They deserve a lot of credit for ensuring everything is running smoothly and they do an excellent job. Lastly, our Frenchie....the staff gifted her a toy, treats and some extra potty bags. She LOVED her new toy and doesn't want to let it go. If you are looking to decompress and unplug, this is the place to be. There are no tvs in the rooms (which I love), the pool is just a few feet from your door as is the kitchen and everything else you need. We had an excellent long getaway at Dive recently. We had our flight down to Palm Springs cancelled last minute and had to scramble to find a way out there. Dive was very accommodating to our last minute changes and assured us we'd make it work. The grounds were beautifully cared for with lots of places to sit and relax in the sun. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool each morning. It was a simple menu of yogurt, granola, fruit, and croissants. Simple, but it gave us an easy way to wake up slowly and start our day. The pool was absolutely fabulous and heated up enough to actually be comfortable to swim in. The hot tub was wonderful too and we enjoyed taking late night dips in the evening when the temps were cool. Rooms were small and simple but well designed. No TVs, so perfect if you are looking for a place to unplug. Our favorite part was how quiet it was on the property. With only 11 rooms, it made the weekend feel like our own private getaway. Every year, for our anniversary, we go to Palm Springs, and our go-to place to stay is Talavera, but we decided to stay at Dive this year, and we weren't disappointed. It's an adult only, beautiful boutique hotel with a French Riviera vibe. We stayed in the Orchard. It's the only room with a private jacuzzi, and it has a three hole putting green, which my hubby loved. You get a complimentary breakfast, and they serve lunch and drinks. We loved lounging on the beds in the cabanas once the sun went down. The June weather was perfect. Sunny during the day to swim and cool enough to hang out at either of the two firepit areas. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here or Talavera. Both are uniquely different, but they both feel like you are swept away into another place and not in the desert. read more

Exceeded our expectations! This wonderful gem is unassuming on the outside until you enter the gate and discover the beautiful paradise that awaits inside. So much love and care has gone into the grounds, the vibe is wonderful and the water feature adds to the tranquil experience. First come first serve pool side cabanas, a fire pit and very clean pool and jacuzzi. I haven't even got to the room yet! I mentioned when I booked that my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. There was a little miscommunication prior to checking in, but the managers were very communicative and we worked it all out. My wife and I returned to Dive this past weekend for a second time and it was just as lovely as our first trip. Abdi, Ashley, Felix and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They've also made a few upgrades since our last visit that continue to elevate the already perfect experience. We've stayed in the King Room and King Suite and highly recommend the suite if it's in your budget. The extra little sitting nook/day bed is a really lovely addition to the room. But really, you can't go wrong with any of the rooms. Staying in one of the Orchard or Paris suites is definitely on our Dive bucket list. I don't have much to add except that if you're thinking about spending some time in Palm Springs, you'd be hard pressed to spend it in a lovelier place than Dive. read more

I adore Dive! Second time here, and I was welcomed back with a handwritten note and a bottle of rose, which was such a lovely touch - the Dive team is wonderful, thank you so much!! We booked 3 nights and ended up staying 4 because we couldn't bear to leave. The room: we had a king suite. With windows on opposite walls, including a private patio, and the shiplap ceiling, it feels like your own flat in the South of France. Main windows (with blackout shades) faced the lush garden and pool. The room itself is chic-country-desert-French-maritime all put together, with beautiful attention to details like color, art, decorative hardware, tile, linens, and omg the bed is incredibly comfortable and cozy. And, no TV - dreamy for disconnecting. Property vibe: since it's both small and an adult-only hotel, the property is very quiet with many spots to relax and lounge. There are cabanas for anyone to use, and I highly recommend for lazy, breezy reading. There is a tucked-away hammock for napping. I love the look/design of the umbrellas, too, so cute. The music is perfectly curated, beginning quietly in the morning with classical eg Glenn Gould playing Goldberg Variations, and amps slightly - but never too loud to read - as the day goes on, to dreamy French/Indie/desert pop spanning eras. A very fresh breakfast is included (coffee, tea, juice, egg, tasty granola, oat milk, berries and fruit with the option to add avo toast, champagne, etc.). There's a grocery store and shopping center across the main road, and the town's main strip is just a 5 min car ride, or 15 min bike ride, away. If you want to feel supremely relaxed, utterly transported, and purely fabulous, stay at Dive. read more

Let me start by saying that I don't often leave reviews and my name is not Karen but I feel this one is warranted. We stayed there for my daughter's 21st Birthday. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very sweet and friendly person at check in. She gave us restaurant recommendations and poured us each a glass of Rose'. The first impression was great! Cute property and very well maintained. Go to our rooms and they were just as described. There are some areas that could use some repairs but overall nice. Day two my daughter and friend hung out by the pool. Nice area, however, the water chemistry must have been very off as it turned her hair a very bright shade of blue. They were two ladies there laying out topless which I thought was a little weird. I'm in no way a prude but, come on, there's a certain etiquette that should be followed in upscale public places. I mentioned it to the person at the desk and he just laughed it off. During the middle of the night my daughter,s room AC quit. They called the 24/7 Phone number and did receive a response right away. However, due to the late hour, they had them move to a different room to sleep in and then back to their room. The AC remote wasn't working so it was easily fixed. Unfortunately, that was our check out day so we were leaving. So bummed it was such a special occasion and it was a let down. No one from the Dive reached out to us form any apology or to offer some compensation for our issues. read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful. That said, this is an okay place if it were, say, $150/night. But it was nearly $600 for 2 nights and it was not worth it. This is clearly a former motel that the owners flipped and are now taking advantage of customers for. The pool was filled with bugs and debris, there is no on-site kitchen or bar, so there was only 1 mezcal cocktail on their menu and their, "lunch menu" consisted of 3 appetizers, that were just bought from a grocery store. The AC is a split unit and not very powerful, the bedding was scratchy, the water pressure from the shower wasn't very good and the bathtub in room 10 was tiny. Oh! And there are no TV's in the rooms, which you would think would make it a cheaper stay! We took a chance because of its location, and we'd never stayed in a small 'hotel' like this before, but it was not worth it :( I'm very surprised at the amount of 5 star reviews here, makes me wonder if they're all relatives or friends of the owner. read more
