Came here instead of negro durazo because this place had more stars on google. I didn't take a picture of my filete a la veracruzana but man did it have a lot of stuff piled on top, I had to push everything to the side. Now my brothers caldo de camarón was ridiculous. The whole bowl was covered in just vegetables. It has like 4 freaking shrimps and the rest was big chunks of vegetables. It was really nice of the waiter to kindly exchange it for a tostada but damn dude... No la riegen. You guys really need to fix your caldos. As for the tostada, it was bomb. Enormous upgrade. Let me just say I used to love this place. They had some of the best mariscos in/around spring valley. They really put a lot of effort into the beer lounge/garden. It really is a nice spot. I always order top notch mariscos plates all the time. This time I was feeling basic and ordered a burrito de Pulpo (octopus) usually this burrito is on point. Unfortunately this time it had literally no flavor. No salt, no seasoning, no nothing. Tasted like octopus and bell pepper in a tortilla. Really disappointed. If I'm going to be charged 18.62 for a burrito it has to be on point. Unfortunately this is not it. It used to be good, I don't know if rising prices is making this owner rise prices. Came in Friday evening to get food to go. Ordered shrimp quesadilla, carne Asada entre, 4 carne asado tacos, carne Asada fries, 2 orders of shrimp ceviche and 2 orders of fish ceviche. The quality/cut of meat this establishment uses is really cheap and you can tell by the taste and texture it isn't of good quality. It also lacks in flavor. I wouldn't be so upset but I think if tacos are priced higher than your normal shop vs restaurant it should deliver. The only thing my family enjoyed was the shrimp ceviche. Other than that and my shrimp quesidilla having no shrimp and poor quality meat I would never likely return. I can't believe it took me so long to visit this place! OH MY GOODNESS! Are you all in for a special treat!! First I will say PARKING is on the street and may be a hassle but nonetheless worth it!!!! My husband and I started with chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious! The perfect spice and texture. We ordered aguachile and ceviche! Aguachile is SO SPICY but so addicting and delicious. It is huge! So it would work best for two people to share. My husband devoured the ceviche! Super good and the flavors are amazing. My mouth is still watery! Made the trek from Escondido for some good Mariscos. This place didn't disappoint. My family had the aguachiles, mojarra, and ceviche. All dishes received great reviews. The michelada wasn't that bad, better than other places we have tried. I didn't want to ding this place for not having cocktails or tequila. There was also a guest that was singing along to the really good corridos in the background and that kinda threw us off. The services for being as busy as they were was superb. My boyfriend & I were excited to try a new Mexican restaurant in the area. The reviews seemed pretty good beforehand, but we were not impressed. The patio atmosphere is nice & quaint. Service was decent. We ordered two margaritas. They only had strawberry, so we just went with that. It was practically $7 of red syrup. We got about 4 sips and it was gone. Didn't taste any tequila. Boo! I ordered the Molcajete Sinaloense (all seafood). I've had molcajete before at other restaurants, so I was expecting something very different. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't have descriptions so you don't really know what you're getting. There was a decent amount of seafood but it was drowning in cheese. The octopus, shrimp, and baby scallops were great! I had one clam and two undercooked/closed mussels that I was not able to eat. The "crab" appears to be pieces of imitation crab. I had to sift through the cheese soup to find the food, which wasn't enjoyable. It was not the spicy, tomato-based chile sauce I was expecting of a molcajete. The flavor was lacking or just buried in cheese. Very disappointing for $30! I would expect a top-notch dish full of fresh & perfectly cooked seafood for that price. Just heard about this place from a friend. Located close to the I125 on the maind street of Jamacha Rd. Their parking lot is quite small but street parking is also available. Upon entering we were greeting by a gentleman who guided us to our table. We were prompted with a big bowl of salsa and chips plus a cup of "consome" each. There is inside and outside sitting with nice house warming decoration. Mexican cumbias playing while people enjoy their meals. I got 1 al pastor taco which was bomb, hand made tortillas, sweat and spicy, crispy pork, perfect little street taco. I also got the veggie burrito. I was a little bummed that the veggie burrito is $6 and they charge $1 to add cheese and I forgot to ask if it came with cheese until after I paid with my card. They have a $5 minimum on a card or a $1 extra charge... so my cheese addition was going to be $2 lol...1/3 the cost of the entire burrito. Just do the newby a favor and throw some cheese in! This will probably be my new go to mexican lunch spot for sure. It was busy and DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO PARK IN THE LOT! It is chaos, tiny and no way to easily get out. You'll be doing a 16 point turn and the oncoming cars need to back out into traffic and the whole thing is stressful haha. Was our First time yesterday for Valentines day . The food was good . The wait time to be seated was not bad . The service was a one star . When they finally gave us a table . The server did not acknowledge us at all , did not offer anything to drink or chips ... we had to call him over after 20minutes . The food preparation took abt 20-30min which is not bad for holiday . But when the food arrived they forgot the utensils. We tryed calling the server over for abt 10minutes but was not acknowledged so my husband got up and asked for one . Then we realized we were missing rice , beans , and tortillas so we told the server and that took 15 min to bring the sides . We ended up eating our food cold . Server didnt neven offer any condiments. We didnt neven bother asking for a check , we just stood and went straight to the cash register to pay . I understand that the it was Valentines and its bussy , maybe they were under staff , and i wouldnt mind having to wait an hour for my food aslomg as it was complete and hot . server should've double check the order is complete before taking out . Tasty but a little pricey. I had the shrimp tosada which was full of shrimp It normally comes with octopus and scallops, I opted for a shrimp only and they delivered. Excellent flavor fresh and tasty. It ran about $20 so I felt that was a good price for the amount of seafood you were getting. I also ordered the shrimp enchiladas. They also ran about $20. For the amount of seafood in there I feel that that price should have been closer to 12 or $15, at the most. The total cost for both meals was about $50. These were to go items. A little pricier than I would have imagined. I'll try this place out again and pay attention to what's ordered. Reducing their price on the smaller items would go a long way. People are happy to pay more for more seafood. One of the ladies was sweeping up as I left. It's unfortunate that you can see the back of the kitchen very easily, so the messiness on the floor was not nice to see. Still like it 3 stars, and will check it out again. read more

Le pedimos mas chips y salsa y con mal modo no lo trajo toda su actitud era pésima muy mala onda y vibra esta tal Elena , pedimos cajas para llevarnos la comida de lo mal que estaba haciendo las cosas luego nos lleva el bill sin pedírselo creo que nos estaba corriendo ya. Cuando nos llevo la cuenta vimos que nos había cobrado un shot mas de lo que le pedimos y las chips y salsa la cobro aparte de lo que yo se chips y salsa en un restaurante mexicano siempre es de cortesía. OJO en la cuenta ellas agregan el 18% de tip incluido, nuestro total fueron $260 dólares y del tip según ellos se agregó $57 dólares más que Ami no se me hizo justo que automáticamente lo agreguen el tío se gana no es mandatorio aparte le hibamos a dejar tip en cash y no en la tarjeta. So mucho ojo con la cuenta si no te das cuenta te joden con el tío que ellas ponen, Cuando le voy a preguntar de la cuenta y le digo que por que nos cobraron las chips y salsa y porque el tío es incluido, le dije Ke no estaba de acuerdo siempre voy y nunca me cobran las chips ahí si respuesta tan corriente fue "yo soy la esposa del dueño y así tiene que ser" sin disculparse y bien arrogante la muchacha luego me dijo Ke el tip "era opcional que eso es lo que sugieren pero que ella lo podía quitar, ' deja te lo quito' " fue su respuesta pero en el recibo nunca dice eso. Muy mal modo muy arrogante y con cara de amargada me dio la cuenta. Mi mamá se lleva muy bien con la mesera Carla y estaba platicando con ella ya al salirnos y corrientemente y con actitud se metió en la conversación de mi mamá y le reclamo "Hay un problema, te di mal servicio?" Mi mamá le contesto que si nos había dado mal servicio y que nunca le había tocado una mesera como ella , y otra vez elena contesto " pues yo soy la dueña y no te di mal servicio gracias a dios" arrogantemente. Que mal departe de esa muchacha si es la dueña porque no importa que seas dueña , esposa del dueño , mujer o querida del dueño, el servicio al cliente, como tratas ala gente y los buenos modales son lo que importan no que seas la esposa del dueño. Tienes que saber tener Etica profesional siempre. Incluso conozco al dueño y es muy amable y nada que ver con esa mujer. Dije yo que tiene que seas la dueña te faltan clases de mesera porque no sabes como tratar ala gente el servicio fue pésima de lo más desagradable. Muy desafortunadamente porque yo e referido muchísima gente a este restaurante y cada vez que vamos mínimo gastamos $150 asta $300-400 dólares y siempre con un buen tip y íbamos cada 2 semanas. Aunque la comida está riquísima no vuelvo a este lugar con una dueña que según se llama "Elena González " tan corriente y falta de respeto. Perdieron unos Gran clientes forsure. I really loved this place.. I always drive past by it and never really payed much attention. We had the chilaquiles breakfast, cocktel de camarón, plato de tacos de pescado al mojo de ajo, kids meal quesadillas with fries and, spanish omelette. The waitress was sooooo nice to all of us and didn't have to wait for than a few minutes if we needed anything else. Good customer service at a restaurant always has me coming back.
