Wow, I am so blown away. A buddy of mine was telling me about this place all the way back east in Detroit Michigan over here on the corner of Watt Avenue and A Street called Adalberto's fine Mexican Food! He told me if you ever get a chance and you're out here to stop here and speak with the owner named Heimi! Well, guess what God willing. I got that opportunity today. I got to meet the owner and I'll tell you what the customer service was definitely at its finest out here on the West Coast! My honest opinion, the East Coast needs to step there game up and take some big advice from the owner here at this place! The owner Heimi started this business back in 2001 and this location is the original Adalberto's!!! With the customer service what I'm talking about the owner Heimi came out to me after me having a good conversation with him inside as I let him know that this was my first time here he told me that whenever you need anything come back well guess what? I'm sitting out front at the outdoor table with the umbrella over me and Heimi himself comes walking out and said hey do you need a refill and he takes my cup of Horchata and he fills it up! The food here the drinks here are all absolutely amazing. It's almost like I'm eating a homemade cooked meal in Cozumel or Isla Mujares Mexico on vacation! Thanks Adalberto's amazing cooks, servers, and staff! Also thanks to Heimi for your 10,000,000 star service, customer service at its finest! The kind of service that I was provided with is the kind of service that is extremely rare to find nowadays! Thanks for bringing it back to life and showing me that it's still here alive and well! Thanks for treating me like a millionaire!!!! The outdoor ambience around the property is also beautiful. The Owner and staff do amazing at keeping the indoors and also outdoors, clean and tidy! People here are amazing. I am overwhelmed with joy. I don't never wanna go back east. I'm gonna call it right here home for the next 15 years I mean minutes sorry lol as I finish my amazing Carne Asada super burrito. The thing even has french fries in it. When I asked why the wait was so long I got greeted with a eye roll and I'm the only one here which I saw someone else there but that's not the point the point is if you can't serve people you should not be open or you should come out and let them know what's going on so they feel like they have a choice I had a child in the car so there's absolutely no excuse for someone being in a Drive-Thru with a child for 45 minutes you know they're trapped so you either come out and communicate that or you shut it down. read more

Coming from San Diego craving legit Carne asada fries and came across Adalbertos. Ok, will admit a pricey for a full order of Carne Asada Fries but can i say worth it? Absolutely! Their Carne asada fries come with fries cooked right (hot and with a littlr crisp), covered nicely with tender meat (with zero gristle, no tiny burnt pieces), guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. The only difference is in San Diego at my local taco shop, they add pico de gallo. So i added that. Little did I realize it's free if you eat inside and have access to the salsa bar. Duh, ok next time I'll know. The salsa has a heat lamp over the chips, keeping them nice and warm. Three salsas and pico de gallo are your choices for toppings and they have the carrots with onions. I really wanted a churro for $1.75 but I'm trying to lay off sugars, but i failed on carbs, but but i did fast 24hrs yesterday and IF for 13hrs today. Ordered the asada Fries & Mini tacos... so good not disappointed at all, one thing I loved was their salsa bar green salsa was my favorite but the Jalapeños and carrots was where it's at! My niece wanted Mexican, specifically tacos with beans and rice. So since this is close to my house we came here. The speaker at the drive thru is a bit crappy and we weren't told to pull forward but the girl at the window was friendly and our food came out fast. The menu online is off as far as pricing goes. Everything is a dollar or so more than what the online menu states. I ordered the nachos special with asada and my niece got the chicken taco special. The nachos were good but very, very salty and they do put cilantro so if you're allergic to it like I am request they leave it off. The verde sauce was good but a bit on the spicy side. I love spicy and it was spicy for me. My niece liked the taco but didn't say anything else about the rest of the plate. read more

I always stop by when I am going through Sacramento. The Super Burritos are huge and taste amazing. The last time I came through the only issue I had was they were cleaning with Pinesol cleaner, and I had to go outside because I am very sensitive to the smell. It DIDN'T affect the food at all I just couldn't be in the building which is super small so it's a lot better to go later and eat outside. The staff is courteous fast speaks English and Spanish fluently. I recommend them they are patient and polite every time I go in there. read more

Food is tasty. Just be careful with the shredded chicken. I was munching away on my chicken taco and one quarter of the way in I took a bite, began to chew and subsequently cracked my back tooth on a piece of chicken bone. The pain was immense and in the end one chicken taco cost me over $1200 as I had to have a crown placed over the broken tooth in order to be able to eat and drink comfortably. read more

I love this place! Never disappoints. I've eaten at Adalberto's since I first found it in 1996 in San Diego. At a school this week and thankfully Adal's was right down the street. First time at this precise location & I got #21 the chorizo & egg breakfast burrito. SUPER GOOD!! Also the red salsa was spicy & delicious! I didn't get to try the green salsa they gave me yet but I will try it with the other half of my burrito their burritos are HUGE. I love how burrito was not greasy at all.
