    So many options

So many great options for bonsai trees! Owner is really helpful. Got my first tree here and I love it. Prices are fair

Makes a beautiful unique gift. I already owned the pot. $25 for this sized bonsai (maybe a foot long)

This is my 2nd visit here to buy a bonsai for my husband for Christmas. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful. I hope they stay in business. Beautiful selection of already potted plants or you could buy one and plant it yourself!

Our first time at Eden Bonsai it was a great experience. We were allowed time to browse, which we felt was great service . All the trees were very well taken care of. They have a 120 year old bonsai. A nice little treasure that's been there for 24 years! Went home with a Bonsai tree, plant food, and a Bonsai care instruction.

Owner is so very knowledgeable and helpful. I loved all the beautiful choices. Well worth the drive from Beaumont.

Amazing hidden little gem! Found this place by work and it didn't disappoint. Very beautiful and respectful couple running this place. You can see the dedication that went into the bonsais.

Wow! Lots of bonsais to choose from in all shapes, sizes, pots and prices.....all looking healthy and well cared for. The owner is very nice. It seems like a hobby he turned into a business and loves to share with the customers that come in. Highly recommend if you're looking for a bonsai. Looks like he can help you put one together as well!

    Traditional style bonsai $85

You will probably miss the turn into this place when you're looking for it for the first time. But just look for the Wienerschnitzel and pull into their lot. Look right past the "Wienerschnitzel Only" parking spaces and you'll see a big sign that says BONSAI. They have their own parking spaces there. Once you walk in, you'll see there's a huge collection of bonsai waiting for you! It's almost overwhelming to choose, but they will help show you around. The man that helped me even offered suggestions on my gift search. He was never pressuring or trying to upsell me. He gave helpful suggestions based on aesthetics and ease of care. I found a beautiful, traditional-style bonsai for $85. All the small sized ones are around that price. That plus the $7 plant food and tax came to $100 and some change. There are also a variety of larger, more expensive trees, including trees that will blossom flowers (currently in bud form) He does accept card, and can even hold your tree for you if you can't pick up your purchase the same day for whatever reason. Also, this place typically closes at 7pm, according to the sign at the entrance. But when I called, he was closing at 6:30pm. So I'd recommend calling ahead just in case. He teaches you everything you need to know in caring for the new tree and also includes an instruction printout as well to take home. He even insisted on carrying the tree all the way to my car and setting it carefully inside. He was helpful and seemed to really care about the trees. And now that I've got this cutie temporarily on my office desk, I'm envious of my own purchase! I'll definitely have to come back again another day to get a tree for myself.

    Gorgeous bonsai tree!!!!

My kids and I recently saw an exhibit of beautiful bonsai trees and my son decided he wanted one of his own. I checked Yelp and saw Eden Bonsai had 5 stars, so off we went in search of the perfect juniper bonsai. We easily found the location thanks to other Yelpers who had advised us that we just had to look behind the Wienerschnitzel! Upon arrival we were greeted by a really nice man who gave us a tour and helped us pick out the perfect tree. This place has so many beautiful trees it was a little hard to choose!! He let my son pick out his favorite pot and replanted it on the spot. He gave us plant food and instructions and went over all the details to make sure we understood all the ins and outs of bonsai maintenance. We are ecstatic about our purchase!!!! On the way home we remarked that Eden Bonsai is owned and run by true artisans. That's the only way I can describe what we saw. If you need a bonsai tree, this is the perfect place to get it!!!

I've visited a few bonsai nurseries in SoCal and this one is my favorite. The owner is very friendly and has great prices.

Be careful when doing business with The Standard Design Group…read more In 2023, my husband paid The Standard Design Group a $15,000 deposit under a contract for the company to grow 60 ficus hedges for our future landscaping project. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we became unable to move forward with the planting. When I first contacted Chriss, he told me we could use our deposit as store credit toward other materials or installation. After that, however, months of text messages went largely unanswered, and it became nearly impossible to get a response. It wasn't until I reached out through The Standard Design Group's Instagram account that Chriss became "responsiv again, telling us he would discuss the matter with the Board. After that, communication once again came to a standstill. When we ultimately requested a refund, we were told our only option was to pay the remaining balance of the contract and take delivery of hedges we can no longer use. Rather than working with us to find a reasonable solution or putting us in touch with management, we were repeatedly directed to a generic company email address. After reviewing our contract, we have serious concerns about the company's position. The agreement contains a cancellation provision referencing a 15% cancellation/restocking fee, yet the company is attempting to retain our entire $15,000 deposit, claiming that too much time has passed and that they have cared for the trees during that time. While we understand there were costs associated with growing and maintaining the hedges, that is the very business they are in. Larger hedges are substantially more valuable than smaller ones. If these hedges are still in their possession, they are worth significantly more today than they were when we paid our deposit in 2023. If they have already been sold, then they have recovered value from the same inventory while still attempting to retain our entire deposit. Despite this, we have never been provided with any explanation or documentation showing why the company believes it is entitled to keep the full $15,000 despite the cancellation language in its own contract. We have spent months trying to resolve this matter professionally and in good faith but have been met with poor communication, broken promises, and no meaningful effort to reach a fair resolution. As a result, we will be filing formal complaints with the California Attorney General, the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs, the California Contractors State License Board (if applicable), the Federal Trade Commission, and any other appropriate regulatory agencies. We will also be pursuing all legal remedies available to recover our funds. We expected professionalism, transparency, and customer service from a company handling a project of this size. Instead, we've experienced the exact opposite. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend doing business with The Standard Design Group. Before signing a contract or paying a substantial deposit, I strongly encourage prospective customers to read reviews across all platforms. We are not the only customers who have raised concerns about this company's communication and customer service, and Chriss's name appears repeatedly in many of those reviews. Buyer beware.

After I got home, my husband told me we actually needed a longer auger. I returned to the store today simply to exchange it for a longer one and even offered to pay the price difference. I was not asking for a refund or trying to return the item. Despite that, the store refused to exchange it, saying it was their policy because they had told me at the time of purchase that the item was non-returnable. I understand the difference between a return and an exchange. This wasn't about getting my money back--I just wanted to purchase a more expensive item instead. Refusing to accommodate such a simple request on a brand-new, unopened product shows a complete lack of customer service and flexibility. As a result, you've lost me as a customer. I'll be leaving reviews to share my experience because this level of customer service is disappointing. If this is how customers are treated, I believe you'll continue to lose business.

My honey and I came in to purchase a boutonniere for his 50th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving.
