This restaurant is decorated pretty cool on the inside. It's big and has a patio with a mechanical bull. It has a bar. They have a few tv's around. Upon entry there's some sort of skull like face with big feathers, kind of scared me. The service was good. I ordered a mulita. As I remember someone recommended it, they said it was big and they put a lot of cheese and a lot meat. It's not as big as they use to make them and there wasn't enough cheese in mine. The flavor though was pretty good and it came with 2 spicy sauces. The tortillas are hand made and really thick. Parking is available out front. Cool place.

What if beef could give meaning to the cheesy lives we all lead? What if that beef could be dipped in consomme all day and all night long? At La Super Birria, beef can do both of those tricks and oh so much more. The way the beef melts on the palate into a flavor pool I wish I could sail away on, the way the cheese clings to the meat like a lover making up for years of lost time, the way the meaty, savory notes in the consomme echo briefly in the ear like a promise whispered all make me believe that good things can happen, and that one day soon we will all join hands across America and sing "Unchained Melody" or "He Ain't Heavy He Is My Brother" in perfect harmony. The waiter/waitress was an angelic, professional woman sent from the sky to deliver each order promptly, and to provide sage guidance on the menu. In other words, whoa, dude, actual hospitality. I would go back once I finish crying happy teardrops.

Sister-in-law came down from Portland to try birria and was a little disappointed. I thought this location would be the same as the original location in Santa Ana but it's way different. Food: They don't have the birria tour here, unfortunately, so we ordered two quesotacos with birria and a 25 oz consomme each. The quesotacos were lukewarm and not melty with cheese. The meat wasn't that flavored. The consomme didn't have extra meat or spices in it and had a thick layer of oil on top. The original location has the complete opposite of all. Flavorful meat with melty cheese, and the consomme is mouthwatering with generous extra meat inside. This place was very frugal with their stuff. I had to even ask for their onions and they're chili oil - you have to pay for it whereas the other location offers it for free. Service: Service was okay. They actually took a while to make our food. Honestly, if you're thinking about coming here, just drive a 10 or so more minutes to the Santa Ana location. It'll be worth it, trust me.

This is the second location I visit and I prefer this spot because parking is better and for some reason they're not as busy so it's convenient but they should be busy based off how good the food is. The salsa with lemon and the Quesabirrias are everythinggggg. The birria ramen is also so good. I will keep returning to this spot. They are also open on Easter which shows the dedication this place has to their business. There's a lot of seating.

I was real disappointed with this location I'm a real fan of these restaurants birria but I've always gone to the one on 1ST and let me tell you it doesn't compared to it 1. Of they didn't have hand made tortillas at this location which is never a problem at the 1ST location 2. When the food came out the birria tasted like it has been re heated didn't taste fresh it was grease a and chunks of greasy meat 3. They only had a cashier catering to everybody they should have more staff to make sure they cater to the clients like they do on 1ST My experience was horrible at this location in the future I will be going to 1ST it's worth the drive 3.

Very delicious food. I'm not a fan of Mexican meals, but here I got a pleasure. Nice atmosphere.

Finally opened. Love the Santa Ana location but the parking is tough, and it's a drive. This location is very close to home. Décor is nice, simple, and clean. Staff is friendly. My only complaint is it's very loud. Same as the other location. I'll update after I eat. After lunch update: Delicious. Just like the original location. Tortillas are made fresh when you order. They are thick corn tortillas that go great with the birria. I ordered the Classica, which is birria in consume with totillas. You also get a mix of cilantro and onion and a few limes. My son got the birria taco tour - three different tacos. Both were $11.99. Portions could have been a bit bigger, but this food takes time to prepare and is a good value. They may have a few kinks to iron out since they have only been open two days. Things should speed up when they get volume. We will definitely be back many times in the future.

Quesotacos - not crispy and tortillas are not handmade and where is the cheese?

Sad to say this place was super disappointing. Not only was our to go order wrong, but the food had zero taste. The birria is extremely bland the consome is watered down and no flavor whatsoever. The tortillas are NOT handmade and the queso tacos lack cheese. $30.00 down the drain, we literally threw away our food. La super Birria is super bland. Do better guys! I was really rooting for this new "birria" spot down the street from me.

The meat quality was bad , the taste was okay not well seasoned , the tacos shell were not fresh The horchata was also okay very watery and sweet Overall I won't recommend this place unless they change their meat quality

Despite what some others have said about this location compared to the OG in Santa Ana, I just ate at the Orange location twice in the last two days and it was excellent both days and did not disappoint in any way. I've had the OG location numerous times as well. Anyway, all came out fresh and scorching hot. Staff was very nice and attentive. Location was clean and spacious. Definitely coming back to this location since it's close to me and less busy than Santa Ana.

We had the Birria Tour and the portion is huge here. also, Birria is pretty decent but not sure if I would go back. All the tables were dirty and looked like no one was taking care of the hall.

The classica and unfortunately I got too excited and forgot to take a pic of my quesaburria

Came in last night, and no, they don't have Taco Tuesday specials, but I will still pay for those bomb ass tacos because it's definitely worthwhile. The whole place was pack and lit up with bright lights. It's by Chapman University, so you gonna see lots of students coming by too. The staff there were also friendly and patient. The lady in the back was nice to cut up new fresh limes for me. Always a good vibe here! It was random seeing some of my homies here too the other day. Just goes to show how popping it is! I got two el pastor and one carne asada, and my partner got a Baja fish and the mushroom taco. Everything a 5/5. Their homemade corn tortilla is on a different level and not soaked in oil. The texture is good. The meat is good quality too and very tender/juicy. My favorite one was the el pastor with those pineapple bites. The mushroom taco on the other to my surprise was quite tasty! All the sauces are bomb, but I really like the super spicy one, the green one, and orange one. You gotta try every sauce to see what matches your palate. The pickle onion was tangy enough and had pepper on it for a nice kick. The guac and chip is so good and well seasoned. Just wished there was more guac in the small cup. You guys gotta come thru for some good tacos and good vibes. Like LeBron always say, "TACOO TUESSZDAY!" lol.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

Thought I'd finally post a well deserved review and give them some god damn credit! It's so hard to fine authentic or even close to authentic Mexican seafood classics and signature dishes like even as simple as a basic ceviche tostada, agua chile or fish taco even. This time I had a shrimp taco, shrimp ceviche tostada then finally I ordered a PULPO AND CAMARÓN CEVICHE tostada. Wish there was a location or sister restaurant closer to me in Costa Mesa / Irvine area cus I no longer live in orange. But yes, this place is awesome. Buenísimo ! Provecho PUEBLO.
