Wow! What a wonderful experience. Emily (owner) was an incredible and attentive host. We planned a surprise high tea for my mom's birthday. We had so much fun! When we walked in we were greeted and introduced to the space. Then we got to spend some time choosing a fun hat to wear while we enjoyed tea service. Emily was so detailed and fun in the way she shared the history of high tea, the etiquette, and description of the food and accouterments. After the delicious tea and food, we enjoyed browsing the store and finding fun goodies to purchase. We also enjoyed the various photo ops around the tea room. We will be back! read more

Such a cute little place! Once you get inside, you don't even realize you are in a mall complex. Decorated almost like a fairy tale, it just immediately feels like a fun relaxing space. Up front are all kinds of cute tea sets and related paraphernalia, as well as tea hats to wear. They also sell some amazing loose leaf tea blends, all sourced in the PNW. We did a Mother's Day high tea, and it was so nice. We took a photo first, then sat for some amazing tea and wonderful food. We were given a little history on teas and also parts of the tea set. Servers were very attentive but unobtrusive, and so very friendly. While a bit spendy, it is super reasonable for special events, especially for all the lovely teas and foods you get to try. From the ample parking, to the delightful staff & owner... to of course the epic tea & full tea food service... one of my best tea experiences! I was especially impressed with how diverse the patrons were... from young to older, to big groups to intimate couples... from men & women to ladies only groups...all in one setting... spread out evenly due to properly spaced out arrival times... (yeah! No overbooking!)... And I haven't even mentioned yet about the excellent assortment on both the gluten free as well as regular afternoon tea services...& tea dishes were authentic & even included finger washing sets! And don't have a hat? Well just borrow one if u like! They source as much of their teas locally as possible, & make their location in a strip mall feel more like a vip high end hotel feeling once inside their door. We have been there twice now and it has been nothing short of amazing every time! the owner is so sweet and owns it with her mom and sister and it is just the cutest place! i forgot to put that we are gluten free when i booked our day and we showed up and i thought she wouldn't be able to accommodate us. but she was so great! she brought out a beautiful delicious gluten free tray and amazing tea and acted the English part so well and didn't skip a beat. we were celebrating my daughters 5th birthday and she just made it so special for her. we will definitely be back. read more

It was my second visit to La Tea Da, this time with 3 friends. Our server was the delightful and knowledgeable Ella. The way La Tea Da presents high tea at beautifully decorated tables, with attention to detail and fun descriptions of how things were done during times gone by truly makes this a special, do not miss experience. THEN the food comes out, a perfect tower of sumptuous, deliciousness. My group's favorites were the chicken salad mini croissants, cucumber with dill sandwiches and cranberry orange scones with clotted cream and jam. I've been lucky to experience high tea more times than I can count and this spot in little Post Falls, Idaho is my number one favorite.
