I took my Samsung to go get fixed and they charged me $300, so i thought theybwere going to do a good job with my phone. They told me to come back in 4days, so i did. When i came back they told me to come back in 3mkre days because it wasn't ready. So i came back in 3days, and they left my button loose and screen loose. First of all were do I even start. I took my Samsung tablet to one of the workers. He said come back in 4 days I did. And turns out my tablet wasn't even ready so he said 2 more days I was patiently waiting for my tablet for more than 3 weeks. And later he offered me another tablet and when it stopped working he said there is nothing he can do. And at last I gave him my Samsung galaxy and he fixed in like 3 weeks again and 2 weeks later it turned of and wouldn't turn back on. I took it to him and he still charged me more money i was excepting like $50 no he charges $80 unbelievable !! And then turns out he couldn't fix my phone after 1 month I'm serious !! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! We'd taken a Pixel Phone for a simple battery replacement as the original battery was no longer keeping a charge for more than a few hours. We'd purchased the replacement battery on Amazon. You told us "This is easy. We do it all the time." This is the lie that would cost me weeks of time, endless phone calls, a considerable amount of stress and money. We dropped off the phone and the battery to install on the device. We get a phone call a few hours later claiming "The phone will not turn on". A working phone was dropped off to have the battery replaced and now it won't turn on? Even the owner admitted the phone was good and only needed to have the battery replaced. This was the only time they took accountability for their damage. They agreed to replace the screen and provide a loaner phone without a deposit. We paid for the battery replacement, you break the phone, and now you want more money for a "deposit" for a loaner phone?!?! This was unacceptable as it would not have been necessary if not for the negligence and poor workmanship from a novice technician "practicing" repair work on our phone. After over an hour of stressful and needless arguments with the owner, he finally provided a loaner without a deposit. Just about a week later we get a call the phone is ready. We head back to the store and we test it out. It turns on. We plug it in and see if the battery will charge and don't see it charging. We asked the technician for 2 different cables and AC adapters to test. Still not charging. His technician witnessed that we requested multiple cables and charging blocks as the phone would not charge. We make the mistake of taking it home to see if we can leave it plugged in over night to charge. The phone has less charge than from the day before. We take back the phone and they claim that "It must be a defective battery." Another 2-3 hours of the day lost arguing that the phone was brought in working. They broke the screen and obviously something else. They refuse to do anything to fix this phone that they broke. Per the shop owner's recommendation, we take the device to UBreakIFix, a reputable authorized partner of Google. They informed me that the charging port attached to the system board was damaged and to take it back to the original store that broke it. UBreakIFix reviewed the phone, verified that the battery was fully functional and the reason it would not charge was due to an electrical short at the charging port. Unfortunately, UBreakIFix neglected to reinstall the mesh on the ear piece when reassembling the phone. They had also caused a small nick on the screen in the upper left corner. The phone is taken back to the LATech and now the owner refuses to touch the phone because he claims, "I don't want to risk breaking the screen." Now you say you may break the screen and at the beginning it was "This is easy. We do it all the time."!? We argue for hours, literally hours until I finally decide to pay a refundable deposit "in case" the screen breaks because we needed the phone within the next 3 days. I had even provided LATech with the phone number and report from UBreakIFix to verify the damages caused by LATech. I was tired of wasting time, and energy and had finally submitted to the forced deposit from this shop. The deposit wasn't an absolution of guilt for the damage they caused; it was out of frustration of wanting to get this phone fixed. UBreakIFix also mentioned that with the proper tools and experience, the screen should have never broken. You had also admitted that you do not possess the same tools as the professional shops increasing the risk of damage to the screen. It was a Sunday and I expressly and specifically told the owner, "I need the phone BEFORE Thursday as we will be traveling." The next 2 days following-up on the status to be told it's not ready or I don't have the part yet. It's now Wednesday and am told, "the part isn't here yet, you didn't tell me you were traveling". We spend the last few hours before our flight arguing with him because he is now refusing to fix the phone at all and doesn't want to refund the original fee paid for the battery replacement. Out of frustration, horrible service and lack of accountability, we lose our composure and argue with you. Your solution to this is to call the police and threaten us with lawyers should we decide to take this matter to court. You stated that you did not care about any review we decide to post on various sites, yet have been taking the time to reply with false information and personal attacks. Upon returning we took the phone back to UBreakIFix. They reported that the metal port was replaced by a part from an iPhone6 and some of the screws were replaced by Samsung screws and an unacceptable sealant was used for reassembling the device! To date, I've only received a refund of the deposit in the event the screen broke. No other refunds have been issued and the $1,000 phone is now useless. read more

Came here to bring my 11pro max witch i hear is deemed hard to fix once damaged. Took it to a third party and it had all kinds of problem including crashing every so often, then took it to geek squad and ibreakufix and they didnt want to touch the phone. But took it to LAtech, and they where up to the job with great prices, those geeks and ibreak wanted like 3 to 400 dollars, and they said it wasnt a guaranteed that the phone would work again.. but iam glad i took it to LAtech they know what they are doing there, and would come back for any phone repair.. they are the real deal no joke. Ok , so here's the skinny on this place.... if I could give 6 stars I would, I brought my iPhone 7plus there because for what ever reason I could not get it unlocked . I bought the phone from offer up I had the phone for 2 years on at&t and just upgraded to IPhoneX so I wanted to give my 7plus to my fiancé who's on another network.. I call att and try to get the thing unlocked ...the phone has a clean imei but for what ever reason they wouldn't do it so I take it to LA TEC spoke with Kevin and he said no problem, now in my head I'm thinking there's no way he's gonna get it done ... I leave the phone there not expecting him to be able to figure this out as other places said no way no how. Kevin is a G , it took about a week and a half but there customer service was fantastic calling me every couple of days updating me on the phones status and then presto! Kevin calls me says he some how magically made it happen. I have no clue how he did it but he did it... I put the new SIM card in the phone and unlocked it was saving me from hearing my fiancé nagging at me that she wants a better phone... Kevin not only gave me my unlocked 7plus phone he gave me a discount because it took a little longer than expected AMAZING!! After two days i went to pick up my phone which he promised it would be done. Kevin is extremely good at repairs! I brought in my iPhone 6s Plus to see if I can get the motherboard fixed as I accidentally ran over my iPhone with my car. Ive been here twice, first time i dealt with Alberto and it was a pleasant experience. Second time I dealt with Kevin and it wasn't.This place is pricier than most places; however, I was willing to pay the extra few dollars because of the great reputation they have. A month ago I cracked my 6s and they fixed it with "high quality" parts. As soon as I got the phone back I was having problems touching certain parts, it wasn't consistent so I didn't tell them about it nor did I think much of it. Two days ago my screen began to become fuzzy, i took it in and Kevin told me it was broken and I needed a new one. I brought up how they had just changed the screen for me and the glass was not shattered, he explained the technicalities of it and I believed him. He than quoted me a price AFTER looking at my phone. After agreeing on the price I come to pick up my phone and Kevin tells me that it's now 40 dollars more because he didn't realize it was a 6s. Let me preface that this is not about money. I explain to Kevin that it was him who made the mistake, he looked at my phone and gave me a price and then he chose to not honor that price. He then admits to me that yes he did make a mistake but that he wouldn't be willing to correct it fully, he would only knock off 10 dollars. I explain to him that what he was doing is not ethical, he gave me a price for services, took my phone and then ups the price 35%. I then give him one final chance to take responsibility for his error and again he refuses. I paid him the full amount and left knowing that I had just been done over. People say that this place has great customer service; I disagree, customer service is about the customer! This place is about themselves and greed. They need to make money, understandable, but when you make a mistake, then admit that mistake to the customer, and then choose to not correct that mistake-customer service is non existent. I hate giving bad reviews to small businesses, but this place made me disgusted. read more

They quoted me 89.00 to replace the shattered screen on my iPad mini 2. They were the cheapest quote so I went. It's a small kiosk on a corner. They're obviously busy and must get a lot of business. I dropped off my iPad and the guy said it would be done in an hour. I said I could pick it up after 5:00 (about 6 hours after I dropped it off) when I arrived to pick it up it wasn't even done. So I had to go back and wait for them to call me. It was done after 7:00 and by then I said I'll pick it up in the morning. I picked it up and the screen looked scratched and cloudy. They had not removed the film from the inside of the glass so I had to wait for them to do it again. Then the iPad wouldn't power up properly. He said he needed to fix the OS..... ?????..... I trusted him and left it with him once more. I now have it back, almost as good as new. Only thing is now the wifi is finicky. It drops and won't see the SSID sometimes and it needs a reboot. Hi Kevin, It was unfortunate, being berated by someone who was supposed to be fixing my phone. I went to another repair tech and they checked and found out that the vibrator was damaged and so was the phone speaker. They fixed the issues the first time there!!! I am not sure how both you and Sam were not able to catch those issues after I had come to your store 4 times!!!  Anyway, after spending another $80, my issues are fixed. The only way for you to help me now, would be to refund some of the charges you charged me for a fix that created more problems than I originally had.  As to your employee Sam, his brand of customer service, and belief that customer are always trying to get free repairs, may ultimately ruin your business's reputation.
