I just told him no to the microwave but yes, toast the hero bread. I also asked for him to put out chipotle mayo on the sandwich. Hubby's sandwich was simple: honey turkey, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and regular mayo on a hero. Not hot. I came straight home and both of my guys ate their sandos. I wasn't feeling a sandwich so I did not order anything. Thank goodness. Fast-forward to last night. Hubby was sick all night until the following day (today). We think it might have been the mayonnaise or the lettuce, which would make sense because my son was fine. He had not lettuce on his sandwich and had a different mayo. It definitely could not have been anything else that he ate because he did not eat anything else that day that was out of the ordinary.
