This is my favorite spot in Hialeah. I've been fortunate enough to check them out all days of the week and it never disappoints. The food is AMAZING! Their arroz con pollo is fire! Came here for my grandmas birthday and it was phenomenal! We tried all the croquettas, empanadas, and a lot more and everything was delicious! If you're a fan of ox tail this is the place to be, they have plenty of versions of it in forms of Paella, empanadas, pizza, etc.... (FYI: This is NOT a traditional Tapas restaurant. I mean it is, but with a...Miami twist/sprinkle on top). TAPAS TUESDAY IS WHERE IT IS AT! They have both outdoor and indoor seating and a free off-street parking lot and also free street parking that is almost always available. There is also a small bar area just inside and to the right of the door. I like sitting outside if there is still daylight since it is quite dark inside, and there are fans on the outside patio. The service is attentative, although I've found that I get speedier service when I am inside rather than inside. Tapas Tuesday has 1/2 off select tapas, typically the most common (patatas bravas, croquettas, gambas al ajillo, etc) but this establishment executes them well. Be warned: the patatas bravas have a more... "cubanito" style with sriracha (hot sauce) and a spicy pink mayo. The potatoes are also cut to be circular and "chip like" rather than the usual cubes that are typical of patatas bravas. Still, crispy and tasty. Also, the boqueronitas a la vinagreta are good. What I like about this place is that the portions are larger than most other tapas restaurants. Two dishes for 1 person can be enough to be quite filling. I also liked the bocadillos de jamon serrano and manchego. ONE ingredient that I do NOT think the establishment treats well is the pulpo. Do they cook the octopus well? YES. Perfectly cooked. But the dishes are BLAND. I taste nothing. I get the good texture of the octopus, but no flavor. Even the "guapo del mar- pulpo" with "truffle" tastes just like octopus in oil. To end on a high note, they have a great cocktail list. They have a martini that I LOVE with I believe lillet in it? Either way, when I am craving tapas that wont break the bank and am in the Hialeah area, I know where to go! read more

This place is literally the definition of a "hole in the wall". As we were driving to the place, it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Be aware that parking is pretty tight. But there is a family dollar parking lot across which has some parking available. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to Spain. It feels like those little bodegas. So keep in mind the tables are pretty close together. There is a wall that displays all their wines and it's beautiful. They also have a stage and there's flamenco on Saturdays! Our waiter was awesome. It was our first time and we were in a large group of 12. And he was very patient with us. He thoroughly explained the menu to us and answered any questions we had. All the food came out relatively quickly and he was on top of making sure everything was delivered to the table. So menu wise it's a Cuban flare Spanish style restaurant. So think tapas and paellas and some Cuban dishes too like vaca frita. It was a great combo. We went for a bottle of wine and a tabla mixta. The tabla was huge. Great for the price. We added an order of pan tumaca and omg that's a board in itself! Delicious!! We also tried the croquetas mixtas which bring 2 croquetas de jamón y manchego and 2 croquetas de paella! Yes.. you read right, paella croquetas! Of course we had to try it. It actually tasted just like paella lol!! It was quite interesting! I loved it! But the jamón y manchego croqueta was the favorite among the table. We also got an order of chorizo en vino and it was delicious as well. For dessert I got the crema catalana. The taste was perfect. And finished it off with an espresso and that espresso was the highlight. Que Rico! The perfect Cuban espresso! It was a Saturday night so we did get to enjoy the flamenco dancer and guitarist. Rough and I only had one. Also tasted the Hialeah punch and that was good. We started with charcuterie Table de Serrano y manchego. It says the cheese is manchego, but it did not taste like manchego I've ever tried. But the ham, olives and everything else on the board was tasty. I decided to have tapas. Tostones rellenos w camarón enchilado - the flavor was great. Small little shrimps but it was filling. I also had an oxtail empanada delicious. As well tapa marinera al ajillo it was pretty good. I tried pulpo a la gallega. The octopus didn't taste good. I had 2 bites just to be sure and Nope. My boyfriend had churrasco with sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. The fries came with a sweet marshmallow dipping sauce. Nice surprise, but a very weird combination with the churrasco. His steak tasted great, flavorful and well cooked. A group of my friends invited us to this place which was quite amazing to be in the middle of no where. It's definitely a Spanish/cuban restaurant offering the r best of both worlds. We are Cuban and love Spanish food so it worked out great. They have a great selection of wines from all regions and their food was great. It's very family oriented so you're gonna see a lot of huge tables with large groups. Saturday night was flamenco night so we were able to get a flamenco show while we ate our delicious meal. We started with the tabla mixta which was super good and had plenty of meat, cheese and olives and spread. Great for a starter. We added the pan tumaca which is Spanish style toast with a tomato spread. Super good with flavor. The croquettes were amazing and we tried the mixed which had two of jamón and two with paella which was different but great. We also ordered a bottle of wine to compliment the food. We tired the chorizo in vino and it was ok from my opinion but it's not bad. Just not what I expected. I thought it was more like chistorras which is Spanish sausage in sidra. But overall everything was yummy. We were full after this but they had a ton of specials which our friends tried their soups, filet mignon and looked amazinggggg. Definitely coming back. This is my second time here and food has been consistently delicious, flavorful and great quality. Staff is just delightful from the minute you step into this popular Hialeah restaurant. We had to order the Serrano ham and manchego cheese croquettes which are the best croquettes I've had in Miami and even better than Islas Canarias which I never thought could be possible. The sangria is also one of the best in town. I had the octopus, the spicy clams and fried garbanzo beans as well and not one single item left me disappointed. They also have live music from Wednesday to Saturday I believe. I'm not sure if this is owned by Spaniards or not but they without a doubt cook delicious Spanish cuisine. The only downside was that I had called a couple days in advance to make a reservation for 10, when we arrived they couldn't find the reservation. Finally tries this place and we were not disappointed. We've already been back multiple times and it has remained consistently good. On our first visit, we stuck strictly to tapas. Tried everything from the croquetas and tortilla española to the chorizo and patatas bravas, along with a handful more dishes. Everything was phenomenal. On our next visit, my husband had the spanish milanesa and i had abuela's arroz con pollo. Hands down, one of the best arroz con pollos i have ever had (and it's enough to share). Decided to have the wine Austin Hope to start a Cabernet which was absolutely smooth and delicious. Then followed with some finger foods.
