Pizza was delicious! It hit the spot! And my kiddos loved it too! Right amount of sauce and cheese!!

I'm sorry La Vera for leaving a negative review :/ but the pizza was awful. There was too much cheese and the pizza was super undercooked. We put it back in the oven when we got home and that helped. I've lived in Richmond 3 years and this is the worst pizza I've had. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because the lady over the phone was nice; the side of ranch was good (tasted home made); and they offer an XL 16" size.

Such a sweet hard working family .

Food and services are amazing . Best Caesar salad dressing I have ever had. Pizza and subs are excellent as well. Love the family atmosphere- and supporting small family businesses.

La Vera is quickly becoming my go-to for pizza delivery at home downtown for a few key reasons: 1) It arrives quickly. 2) The pizza is delicious. 3) The delivery fees aren't absurd. This is a good choice for just a nice pie. I also like their app sampler option (the mozz sticks and the cheesy garlic bread especially). They do fall flat when it comes to hoagies though. They're not *bad* but they need better bread and higher quality deli meats. But for pizza? I'm sold.

HUGE slices, even despite my small hands haha

Pizza eryday- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's one of those foods for me that I don't mind and would love to eat at anytime of day or night. I got two slices- and they were HUGE for $8 total. I got the meat lovers and the veggie special-hey I gotta get my veggies in right? I will say that little places like this taste a lot less manufactured and simple tasting compared to big chain pizza shops such as Papa John's or Domino's. There's not as much salt or seasoning, but I think in a good, conscious way of moderation. I enjoyed the crunchy crust and felt the cheese wasn't too heavy on either slice. The toppings were fresh and the right amount. The people were pretty friendly and gave me some suggestions about what I should get. I found it convenient since I was going to an art gallery nearby. It's neat that there is a whole cluster of art galleries nearby in what used to be more industrial warehouse buildings close to Churchill. Fast, generous portion, decent price, and yummy.

Solid NY-style pizza for people that aren't from NY. The steak sub is really good too.

My 11 yo asked me to leave a 5 star review. The pizza was delicious and service was great. The only thing missing is outdoor seating

Hector is the coolest, hands down--great energy, great personality, the kind of person who makes you want to come back. Oh and did I mention you can get pizza by the slice! The variety is mind blowing and they always have vegan options!!!!! I'm a thin-slice person. I need the right ratio of crust to sauce to toppings, and Zorch nails it every time. Plus, no flop! The cheese slice is a classic and was my favorite... until I discovered The Upside Down. Listen, when I bite into that slice, I literally close my eyes. I see a lot of people say it's greasy. For this one, grease me down baby. The flavor does everything it needs to do. Layered, bold, and honestly addictive. After that slice, I don't even want a regular one anymore. Next up on my list: The Grandma. And for context, I've had Angelo's in Philly. Respectfully? It doesn't compare. Sorry to all the other grandmothers out there lol. One note though-it's heavy on the garlic, so if that's not your thing, you might want to pivot. If it is your thing? Strap in. It's been a few years since I've been able to say I found a legit pizza spot in RVA. A spot that I bring others to often! I'm happy to say I've found my pizza home. Much love to the Zorch crew. See y'all soon!

I felt like I was getting the true local experience being here. There's only a few chairs to sit while you wait but no tables to sit and eat. Service - friendly and quick. We walked in just before 7 PM and were told that our 2 pizzas would be done in about 30 minutes which ended up being accurate! We took our 1 1/2 year old to the park up the street while we waited. Food - the pepperoni pizza was the best we've had in richmond so far! The red sauce tasted more like a pasta sauce than a pizza sauce - which I loved! The pepperonis were also larger and thinner than the traditional size so they were perfectly crispy. We also ordered the Breakfast Pizza with sausage. The flavor profile was more mild but still surprisingly good. We added red pepper flakes to this one when we got home.

Upon entering we were greeted and the host walked us down to the lower level. We had six tables reserved. The bartender came over immediately and took our drink orders and small plate orders. We didn't want any hookah but it was offered. We later ordered a pizza as well later on. Our food was better than expected. The prawns were flavorful, the meatballs weren't warm enough but had some spice to it and were larger than expected. The Caesar salad had kale and red onion in it which was different. We enjoyed the food and the vibe on the lower level was better. The pizza could use more sauce and the cheese had a nice pull to it. The meat on the pizza didn't taste frozen at all. We had to ask for refills a few times, but the server did a good job considering she had at least 20 people to serve.Overall, better this time around.

The New Yorker was a cheese pizza while The Wire was a Crab Pizza with pesto sauce. I didn't get a picture but the cheese pull was insane on both! The drinks were good as well. I had the "Pornstar Martini" while my cousin had the "Velvet Notes" I love how the restaurant has 3 different parts. The right side was for the conservatives, the left was for the not so conservatives and the basement was where the party and hookah was at. The only downside of this place, was the service. It was sooo slow! Although, our bartender "Devin" made some amazing drinks!
