Very disappointed.the food sucks . I could have visited a reg Mexican restaurant and my whole experience would have been being better. Service poor. Ambiance is good. That's it.

Came here for lunch with a girlfriend. Very well decorated. Contemporary Mexican. Was soooo good. Food was very fresh and tasty. Chips and salsa very good as well. Had the chorizo and heuvos with rice and beans. All really good. My friend had the chilaquiles. It looks so good and fresh. Will try it for dinner soon.

The vibe is great, but I don't think I'll be back unless it's for lunch. We came for dinner, and I was disappointed with the value of the steak fajitas ($21) and wasn't told until after my food was on its way that it comes with (3) blue corn tortillas. The waitress said there were frozen margaritas, but then came back to the table to say they didn't have those. They do have pina colada though, so I ordered that ($16!), but it tasted less like coconut and more like pineapple. (I should have known better than to order a drink from a menu with no prices listed on it.) My husband got a steak quesadilla ($18), which did seem like a good value since it came with rice. While we were there we saw that the lunch quesadilla was $13, which does seem reasonable, so again, if we were to go back, it would be for lunch.

Visited during lunch. Server was nice, but had no awareness of speed and the fact that folks were on lunch. She was VERY slow. Quesadilla was thick and cheesy, but otherwise had NO flavor. No onions or peppers or anything. Tough to eat and enjoy because it was so thick and lacked flavor. Would not recommend. Too many other options with better service, PRICING, and flavor.

My family and I had a great time at this restaurant. It was quiet and only one other couple was there on a Sunday for brunch. We planned to go elsewhere but preferred a quieter brunch that was more family friendly. Prices are moderate, but the atmosphere and service were great.

It's an " ABSOLUTELY" for me! Amazing Service! Attentive, Kind & Great!!!!!! I found my spot!!!! Beautiful aesthetic, with no neon signs..... I love it! The food was delish.... the drinks just kept on giving! This place has been on my list for the last couple of weeks so my niece and I decided to go and check them out and yes.....they did not disappoint. Great service, good food with reasonable prices. I ordered the rice bowl with no meat ( I'm a vegetarian), extra mushrooms, everything was great and cooked to perfection. The spices were spicing and the vibe was grand. It's definitely a great spot for group, also a great idea for family dinning and just great food in general . Go check them out!

This is my second time here, once for lunch and now brunch and this place is so slept on! I'm not sure why there isn't a line out the door, but it deserves it. The rice bowl for lunch is so good, and had burrito for brunch this time. Burrito was just ok, but I think I expected it to be typical Mexican burrito covered in sauce so that was my bad. Their salsa is awesome, not too spicy. We got mimosas to drink and first one is free on Saturday and Sunday! We've been to the brunch place next door, but it's always crowded and honestly overpriced. If you're looking for a more chill option, consider walking down the sidewalk some to La Viuda!

Stopped in today just to see the menu but stayed for brunch. And I am so glad we chose this instead of the popular (and overcrowded) spot next door. Immediately upon entering everyone was so nice. It's EXTREMELY clean, very pretty, and the music was great but thankfully not too loud. Best mango margarita I've had state-side. Delicious queso w/ chorizo, crepes, and omelettes. Service was excellent and we will definitely be back! If you're in the area, it's a great choice.

This place is awesome!!! The decor, spotlessly clean, and the food, drinks, and service were incredible! I will definitely go here whenever I'm in town again. They were even playing music from the band we were in town to see at Gas South...so cool!!!

This place is nice. Very inviting. The decor, the atmosphere, very nice. The food was fresh but not the best I've had. The server was flustered and all over the place and we were the only guests. We went on a Sunday after church when they opened. The server was giving everyday is his first day, even after being there 3 years. Complete scatter brain. Kept forgetting plates, water, drinks. It was a mess. But I would try it again with a different server and order different menu items.

Absolutely delicious. We came up for a show at Gas South Theater and stopped here for a late dinner. So glad we did! The empanadas were amazing, the pasta was a treat, and the tacos hit the spot. We will definitely drive up to Duluth just to eat here.

We are on spring break with our 2 girls pulling a camper. Great parking nearby for us. The staff welcomed us even before we opened the door. We were able to sit on the patio with our 2 dogs. Our lunch was amazing! The girls (9&7) said it was the best lunch ever. The salsa and guacamole was fresh made. I had a strawberry mojito, delicious! The girls had the kids taco and rice. My husband had the burrito and I had the salad with eggs, Tofu, tomatoes and I added shrimp. The manager checked on us several times and our server was very attentive and sweet!

huevos divorciados with refried black beans and a generous amount of avocado. yum!!

we absolutely loved la viuda negra. we 'accidentally' stumbled upon it when we saw the restaurant we were seeking was closed. the decor is modern and funky. the food is delicious. we saw on instagram that they have special events (and a free mimosa with brunch on saturday and sunday!)... we will definitely be back!

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door. The immediate parking lot is kind of small and shared with some other establishments, but there is plenty of other parking in connecting lots around the establishment. So no worries if you don't get as lucky as we do. The hostess was very pleasant and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. It was a rainy day so we opted for inside to be on the safe side (the patio is covered though, so no worries if that's your preference). Our server Nicholas was super polite and helpful. He explained the menu and abbreviations to my party with suffient detail. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. But usually that's the kitchen because they are hot the restaurant suffers. Ordered a wedge salad to split and a margarita. The wedge was so huge so literally could feed a table for 4. Order the ribeye, brussel sprouts and corn gasm. The ribeye was very fatty and had a pile of fat that was 1/2 of the steak. My husband likes the coffee rub but it was too much. The sides are considerably smaller than the many times we come before. We came for my husband's birthday and they gave us the brownie with ice cream gratis but we took the coconut cream pie home. Excellent pie! I hope they read this and make a few changes.

**This review is specifically for Overstory Rooftop Brunch**…read more Made a solo reservation on a Sunday to have brunch before seeing a show. The good parts didn't outweigh the not-so-good for me. 1. Located on the 9th floor of The Westin, BUT, parking is mad affordable, which is a big relief as usually hotel rooftops have a static valet parking fee for $25 or more. There is a garage right in front of the entrance and its 5 bucks for up to 4 hours. 2. Views - decent enough for the 9th floor, but mostly overlooks trees and some highways. There isn't much to actually look at as far as a skyline. I was here in the daytime though, maybe at night with whatever city lights coming in, it may be a lil more charming. 3. Ambience - the inside was really nice, the tables were big and seating was comfy, a combo of cushioned chairs and velvety booths or couches. nice decor, and the outside portion of the rooftop also seemed very spacious, with a big main area as well as seating & a few more tables down the side of the building. I went during the yacht rock brunch period, so there was a live DJ spinning old hits from the 70s/80s. the music was at a cool volume, not so loud that you can't hear anyone speak, but not too low like background music - loud enough that you feel like its okay to vibe out. 4. Food & Service - this is where it fell apart for me. when i was seated, it took about 15-20 minutes for my waitress to come and ask me what i wanted to drink. when she finally did, i realized this same woman had walked past me several times before, on the way to do nothing in particular. she didn't introduce herself but was polite. she brought out my coffee and took my order, it took an hour for my food to come out. and the place wasn't crowded. only 2 couples sitting outside and about 40% capacity ithe indoor section where I was. and the food was subpar. it all came out hot, BUT. chicken sausage was hard to bite because casing was burnt and tough. eggs were cooked with so much butter it just tasted like i was eating fluffy butter. biscuit was dry and couldn't possibly be homemade. 'parmesan potatoes' had a few sad dried dots of cheese and parsley but no seasoning whatsoever. i forced myself to eat about half. I live far from Duluth, so really no reason to come back. Maybe a nighttime hang with drinks only, on the outdoor terrace would be a slightly better experience. But I don't have to find out.

Oh honey, they were practically crackling with deliciousness! Each bite was a perfect little golden crunch of potato perfection. Seriously, forget your troubles, just grab a handful of these bad boys. Now, you know I'm all about the experience, so a stellar snack deserves an equally dazzling drink. Enter "Just Peachy." This isn't your grandma's sweet tea, folks. This is a symphony in a glass! Elderflower whispering sweet nothings, zesty lemon doing a little tango, spiced tea adding a touch of intrigue, all topped off with delightful little bubbles that tickled my nose and made my tastebuds sing! Non-alcoholic drinks are officially my jam if they all taste THIS good. Move over, boring beverages! BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! (Insert dramatic pause and a spotlight effect in your mind). A delicate, crispy Coconut Tuile perched on top like a tiny, elegant crown. Y'ALL. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
