I had a house water softening system and a kitchen sink reverse osmosis filter installed by LA Water Solutions recently. I don't have any prior experience with these types of systems so I don't have a lot of basis for comparison, but the work was done in a day, the water wasn't off for long, I felt good about the location and plumbing that was done, and they paid attention to the details, like which exterior lines might be coming off the house and so affected by the soft water (which is bad for plants, it seems).
