If you need your blood drawn do not go to this place, AnaMaria is a rude front dest clerk checking in patients. She talks over you, she doesn't call you by your name, she is condescending, unpleasant, nasty and over all all over the place. She seem like she want to be on top of everything but instead of getting all the patients checked in she should be aware of how she is treating the patient. I spoke to my phlebotomists and expressed to him I will not return because of AnaMaria. The phlebotomists are awesome there that is the only positive thing I have to say about this location. read more

Arrived for my 12pm appointment 10 minutes early. 40 minutes later and I am still waiting. Technicians seem to be sitting around when there is a waiting room full of people. They are very friendly, but NOT organized at all, it was a big disaster, you can check in through your phone epic fail they never sent a text indicating they were ready to see me, I had to go in physically and check in again. Once i was checked in the process took about 10 min, waited 1 hr with an appointment. The phlebotomy technician was nice but they need to be retrained, the experience was painful, when she cleaned my arm to draw blood she didn't wait for it to dry and the needle going into my skin stung like heck. located across the street from the hospital next to subway, however I will never come again because.... The main issue I saw was the limited parking. Also their customer service skills are lacking. I had a emergency and could not find a restroom so I went there hoping they would let me use the restroom since I'm a customer. I've gotten my blood work done there many times. they refuse to let me use the restroom even after I begged them because I had a diarrhea emergency. I almost crapped my car and was in horrible pain...instead of letting me use their bathroom they kept robotically telling me that I was not a patient. I told them off and walked out. I'll never use this place again. We are all people and they could have let me use the bathroom in an emergency but they choose to be jerks. read more

My go to Labcorp for my blood draws. They actually updated the entire building since I last came. Looks so much cleaner and nicer. Parking lot is small. Located in the hidden middle area of the plaza. Wait is hit or miss. I always make an appointment so I my wait is a lot less. Service is friendly. A bit slow sometimes. They open at 7 so I can do my draw on the way to work. read more

Omg! Where to start. This location has the rudest non professional staff. My senior mom was waiting forever for lab work. They said the request was not received. It was. Per her Dr. office. They expect a person to have a lot of info when they walk in but a regular person should just walk in give their name and birthdate. I had to call the Dr office twice had to wait. They need to do their part in trying to pull up the orders and stop relying on these sick and elder patients to give info THEY DONT HAVE. I hope this gives you idea what to look forward to. I was upset during my visit. The phlebotomist did a great job however my issue was the receptionist. She was rude to elderly people. She did not help an elderly man check in with the tablet, she instead yelled at him telling him "it's not that hard to figure out." She also yelled at another older man because he misheard something. Her attitude with me was okay but the way she was with older people is unacceptable,rude, and discriminating. These people need help , you can't expect 80/90 year old men to know how to work a "check-in tablet " and have no patience with them. Ive been coming here for a while know and I've never had a problem until now. This particular time my father went alone and I felt confident that he would be in good hands. I am sad to say that I will not be returning here anymore after my dad had a bad experience, the phlebotomist who drawn blood on my dad clearly didn't know what the hell she was doing.. she hit his vessel instead of his vein.. he left my father a big air bubble and now his whole arm is bruised and has a big hematoma.. I work in the medical field and I know accidents happen but how can you mess up on an adult and FYI his veins are easily seen and easy to draw from. I wouldn't want to take my child if I had any here for that same reason. It just sucks that one person ruins it.. read more

Avoid at all costs. I should have taken it as a sign when they didn't answer their phone all week when I was trying to confirm if they offered the exam I needed. I arrived to my appt 15 min early and checked in on my mobile. Then I waited in my car for 30 min before deciding to go in and ask for an update. I was told to go back outside and wait without asking me anything else. After 10 more min (now 40 total) they told me to come in and let me know their system wasn't working so my online check-in wasn't registered. At this point I'm beyond annoyed so I walked out. read more

This place simply gets the job done. There's not much to it, you don't even need an appointment. Make sure you bring your Dr.s order and follow whatever instructions given to you such as fasting after midnight or making sure to wipe your hooo-ha from front to back before giving a urine sample. Point is it is what is. Get your blood drawn and bounce. Bring your own toilet paper cause there have been times they have none. Be patient, the lady that works here is nice, but not all employees are created equal. If you're not familiar with the area this place is in the corner of Cesar Chavez and State inside the little plaza that Radio Shack is in. Disclainer: Why I wrote a review on Labcorp? Worst place to go even if you have an appointment. I was a few minutes late cuz I couldn't find it. It's in the corner hidden inside a shopping center and no sign on the street side. When I arrived, it was empty. I figured it should be quick then. Boy, was I wrong! After five minutes, another guy walked in and said he had an appointment, so they helped him right away instead of helping me. I said that I had an appointment also. But because I was late, they assisted him first instead...but, he didn't have any paperwork. A few more people arrived and checked in. I waited 25 min. and they were still helping the same guy, even tho my appointment was first PLUS I had all my paperwork and insurance card ready. After bitching, they said I was next. I kept asking how realistic is that cuz I have to go to work (unlike these SOBs checking out the cars in the parking lot) They kept saying a few more minutes. I went here because it was right down the street from a doctor I'd just seen at White, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had an awesome experience here. It was clean and bright, and I'd miraculously come by at a time when they were not busy. The bearded man at the front desk was incredibly friendly, and so was Efrain, the tech. My doctor wanted about a zillion vials of blood, and Efrain was great about getting the blood draw done painlessly and quickly. The area around the lab is a little, well, edgy, but they do have a security guard milling around this shopping center. read more

I was hesitant to come to this Labcorp on a Saturday due to the low Yelp reviews but since the one closer to my house with closed on weekends and this one was open, I decided to take the risk. After my quick and easy trip to Labcorp, I'll have to say I don't know why the reviews are so low. I didn't even have an appointment and I was seen so quickly. The customer service was excellent. I went online to make an appointment. The website asked me to upload a photo of my insurance card. I did. I was told that I need not wait in line. Just just look for the express window and walk right. I did. The morning of my appointment I got there early, walked in and could not find the express line. The crabby woman at the front desk had no explanation why they did not. They also did not have any of the documents or the photos I had uploaded. Because I had an appointment, she said, my wait would not be long. I was fuming by then. Really disgusted with this Labcorp. I had an appointment. I was late. Wouldn't take me during my appointment time. OK i understand that. What i don't understand is why she needed to be announcing it to the whole waiting room and being complete rude since I walked in. i needed to have some bloodwork done and didn't feel like driving out to my doctor's office in pasadena for them to stick a needle in my arm so i headed to this newer location of labcorp. it's located about a mile away from union station and it looked like it offered a better parking situation than the grand avenue office. initially it was a bit difficult to find, it's right by white memorial medical center but hidden in the corner of an absolutely rundown strip mall. i drove by twice before checking the address because i kept thinking "naw... it can't be in that dumpy looking building." well, it was. i parked and, with much trepidation, walked towards the door with the labcorp address over it. i was relieved to see an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper with the company's name and the hours of business taped on the glass, alongside a large "restrooms only available for customers" sign. the exterior of the place didn't exactly inspire confidence in me but i stepped through the door anyway. it looked almost barren inside, with only a smattering of mismatched office chairs set up in a cluster on one side of the black and white checked linoleum floor and, behind a folding screen, a couple of blood drawing stations on the other side on the room. i gave the lady at the desk my paperwork and within a minute i was having a tourniquet tied around my arm and then a needle slid painlessly into a vein. the phlebotomist drew two vials of my blood, slapped a bandage on my arm and sent me on my merry way. it was quick and clean and i didn't wake up the next morning with a giant bruise in the crook of my elbow, looking like a junkie (it's happened before). read more

I had the best lady helping me. Tall African American woman she was so sweet and kind. I made an appointment and not even 4 min sitting down, my name was called and I was escorted to the back. I needed to get blood drawn as I am 12 weeks preggy. It was fast and clean and was very impressed with the service. Make sure you bring your appointment letter, doctor letter and insurance for fast service. The place can be hard to find - we drove pass it as it's in a small parking lot area next to Subway. Yum! Very professional and fast location. I was in and out in less than 15min. Thank you. read more

The worse experience ever. I showed up at 7 45 line was already long. 8 hits they didn't open on time. You have the phlebotomest at the donut shop ordering food. They are only taking 2 ppl in at time. It now hits 10 am and I still haven't even entered the door yet. Phlebotomest is walking back and forth to get her good from the donut shop. The front desk service was the rudest. I get staff needs a break but I think walking back n forth to the donut shop during work hours . I get in after 10 20 and I still sat and waited about 15 mins before being called to draw my blood. Appt people are walking in and front desk person is putting there paper work in front of others to get them in faster. This location sucks and ill never come here again. Only reason for coming here the montebello location is now closed on Saturdays. They need better service here and supervisor on staff at all times if this happens here often worse service . I left the location about 11am. That is ridiculous and worse service ever. If I was able not to give a star I wouldn't but I had to give 1 Star in order to post this review! I definitely had a bit of a hard time finding this place, but that's totally my fault. I assumed (as others mention) that it would be in or near the hospital on the other side of the street. Be sure to look this place up on Google Maps (and see the Street View) to save yourself some time. Also, I recommend NOT parking in the very small and crowded parking lot for this shopping center. There is plenty of street parking within a few blocks and in the end this will be much faster. I came here to get my blood taken at around 3pm on a Friday (with an appointment). I walked in to find a very large, open waiting area with just 1 other man waiting. I was quickly called to provide all of my information and sent to a blood drawing "room" - essentially a small partitioned-off area with a chair. I only waited there for a few minutes before the man came to draw my blood. I told him that I was nervous and he eased my worries by making some jokes and starting a conversation with me. A few minutes later, we were done - as quickly and pain-free as possible. I was probably at the location for no more than 20 minutes. Bottom line: They got the job done quickly and the employees were friendly. That's all I could ask for. read more

I had my blood drawn by Annette. She was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Sometimes nurses have a hard time finding my veins and Annette had no problem at all. I took my son on Friday morning, 8:30am, first thing I realize, we are going to wait a very long time, 2 people working and 12 patients waiting. Second, a very irritate patient arguing with the front desk, apparently they had been waiting a long time. Third, no toilet seat covers, when I asked, the lady working in the back, said they run out. Also no hot water to wash hands, they had antibacterial though. My son was seen at 9:30 so the wait was 1hr. The good thing my son this time was not traumatized, the man was very nice to him and pull blood very quick. So, the experience at Labcorp wasn't so bad after all. read more

Digusting service the way the receptionist/check-in lady was screaming at an elderly lady it was just horrific. They think they can treat people like dirt.
