Unacceptable experience. Walk-in visit with a 2-hour wait, only 1 lab tech drawing blood & another employee sitting at the front desk doing paperwork instead of helping patients. I arrived at 7:45 AM. I tried to schedule an appointment the night before on the app was told none were available. While sitting here waiting, I checked the LabCorp app again and suddenly there were 9 appointment slots available. That makes no sense. Why weren't those appointments available the night before? To make matters worse, several non-English-speaking patients arrived and clearly did not understand how to use the self check-in kiosk. No staff member offered to assist them. They were left standing there confused, which only added to the chaos and delays. This location is poorly managed, inefficient, and a complete waste of time. I will never return. I finally made it in to get my blood drawn. Veronica helped me and she was very nice. That was the only pleasant experience I had at this place. I truly miss Quest Diagnostics. read more

Had to get bloodwork done for my new primary dr. I love this location and all the employees here they know me by first name thats how much I go in lol! They are so friendly and quick here. Always love chatting with the workers here everyone is super friendly. It wasn't too busy today so wasn't there for too long which was nice. Small parking lot and it's upstairs. Getting blood drawn isn't exactly anyone's idea of a fun outing. When it came time for my annual physical, I braced myself... but I'm happy to report this place exceeded my expectations. The reviews here were pretty mixed, but I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. I booked my appointment about 1.5 weeks in advance, and when I arrived, the entire check-in process was quick and smooth. The space is tiny with only a couple of small rooms and 2-ish blood draw chairs that I could see. The front desk receptionist was also the lab tech and she had me settled in within 5 minutes. The actual procedure itself was completely painless. I didn't catch the tech's name, but she was incredibly gentle and precise, both on insertion and removal. I kept my eyes closed, and after what felt like 30 seconds, I thought that it was taking longer than expected so I looked down. She had already filled FOUR vials and I didn't feel a thing! From start to finish, I was in and out in about 15 minutes, with the actual blood draw taking maybe 2. Results were delivered to my PCP the next day, with zero hiccups. Pro-tips (mostly for future me): -- Stay well-hydrated the day before and day of...it makes a huge difference. -- Make a fist when instructed, and keep it tight until they tell you otherwise. I always forget and start relaxing it early... All in all, this was such an efficient, professional, and seamless lab visit...which is exactly what you'd want when someone's coming at you with a needle. read more

Normally, walking in to a Labcorp without an appointment results in a long wait. I had just seen my doctor a few miles from this location who ordered some blood work so I thought I'd roll the dice and stop by on the way home since they were closing in 10 minutes. I got lucky and there were zero patients waiting. I did a self check-in on the kiosk which only took a few minutes and handed the receptionist my requisition form. I was called back a few minutes later and was on my way in under ten minutes total after drawing two vials of blood. Both the receptionist and phlebotomist were very friendly. Another patient came in a minute after 4pm and was told they are closed so if you come late in the day, make sure you arrive at least a few minutes before they close. They are located in suite 202 right at the top of the stairs. I have not been to this location in quite a while and it seems like have they cleaned it up since the last time I was here. It is a pretty small location, maybe a dozen seats total inside to wait, so if they are busy expect to wait outside. I got lucky with no wait on a walk-in, but I always highly recommend making an appointment to save time. read more

Quality of care is poor at this location. Came in and there was only six people ahead of me, wait for over an hours and still not seen. There was two technicians working, but both were extremely slow. How is it that you cannot even do six patients blood draw in one hour between the two techs! So far, it has been just more convenient to go to the Labcorp in Fullerton, however I've been to this location 2 or 3 times now and it is SO MUCH NICER and also much more friendly. Small parking lot is always crowded, but parking along the side streets is available and just a short walk. The lab is located upstairs, which was confusing to find on my first visit, the signage is not that great here. I need to try and remember to head over to this Labcorp when I need a vein jabbed. Front desk staff are incredibly RUDE. If you hate your JOB so much get another one. The facility is clean nicely done however there is not enough seats to accommodate guests because the appointments always run behind. If you ask for a text to be sent, be prepared to wait anyway. Yes it's supposed to avoid having to be in the waiting room but it doesn't. And be aware there will be no seat to sit in as you wait. Standing room only. The technicians are lovely people. I was late for my appointment because I was at the wrong location. That's my own fault, but the other location didn't even tell me they put me on a Walk In waitlist. This location honored my appointment even though I was late. Everything went so smoothly. I am truly grateful for the staff and their genuine care of patients! Retired RN here. I was unable to make an appointment prior to walking in, but I was greeted promptly by the really sweet receptionist. I explained that I needed Fasting labs drawn. She immediately looked at the Lab Orders for 8 am/Fasting (unlike the rude folks at LabCorp 4301 Rose Dr.!) and my labs were drawn promptly by a skilled lab tech who was courteous and professional. The care I received here was perfect. They are efficient, caring and skilled in every aspect of care. I highly recommend this location. The waiting room was Packed, but was nearly empty by the time I left maybe 20 min later. Please avoid the 4301 Rose location- rude and inefficient. Also want to again compliment their receptionist at 1201 Rose Dr. facility -she even helped me when I had trouble getting my driver's license out of the pocket in my wallet- and put some tape on it for easier removal next time. If you want kind, courteous and professional care, the 1201 Rose location is the LabCorp location that will give you that. read more

I have been a long time patient with Dr. Anna Ivanova at St Jude Medical on Rose and Bestanchury in Placentia. I just recently completed my annual this past week and part of my annual required blood work. It was suggested by the doctor that because the lab is so busy, that I make an appointment. I went online and made the appointment for this Friday, August 29, 2025. Having been a long time patient of Dr. Ivanova, and having gone to the lab there at the St Jude Herritage Medical Facility on Rose and Bestanchury, I naturally assumed that was where I was making my appointment. When I got to the facility this morning, I was told I was at the wrong location. I was aware that there had been a change in the company running the lab, but never assumed, or quite frankly, never knew that the company who was now running the lab had several locations in the Placentia, Yorba Linda, Brea area. Also, when you look at the address on the website where you're making your appointment, it does list the address, but Unfortunately both locations are located on Rose Drive. I unfortunately just assumed that I was going to the same location I had always gone to for all of these years. My suggestion to avoid this problem, especially for long time patients, is to put some kind of a warning, with an asterisk in LARGE RED FONT, advising patients to be mindful of the exact address they are booking their appointments at, as there are several Labcorps locations in their area handling lab work for their doctor. Unfortunately, there were three other patients at this particular LabCorp, who also experienced the same confusion and inaccurate information as I had. read more

Rude, unprofessional, and dangerous. This location closes at 4:00 PM, but when I arrived at 3:55 PM to drop off a specimen, they locked their doors already. I stayed and knocked for 15 minutes until an employee by the name of "Brianna" walked out. She walked out not to help me, but to get off work. I asked if she could accept a specimen but rudely just said they closed at 4:00 PM and walked off. I even told her we arrived at 3:55 PM but she did not care. You can tell she was in a hurry to leave because somebody was downstairs waiting to pick her up. She was extremely unprofessional and rude, lacking any concern for medical patients. The specimen is wasted and we also wasted our time driving 2 hours round-trip to one of few Labcorp locations that closes at 4:00 PM. If you close at 4:00 PM, keep your doors unlocked until then. This is medical lab which handles sensitive, private, and privileged information. How do you expect them to respect your medical needs if they can't even honor their own posted business hours. Even Walmart has higher standards keeping to their store hours. I will be filing complaints with our insurance, department of health care services, and Labcorp. Very unprofessional treat people with no respect 3 weeks and trying to get my lab work nothing yet what a horrible customer service

Wow, Labcorp just bought Providence lab and what a huge decline. It's madness here. I was directed to check in at the kiosk and told I'd get a text when it's time. I got that text about 10 min later. Proceeded to wait another 30 min with no name call. I went to the front where five employees working furiously proceeded to ignore me. Finally I was able to tell someone I was still waiting. The guy looks through all the paperwork on the desk and then asks if I gave them orders. Well, firstly my orders were sent from my doctor, and secondly the kiosk never asked or confirmed that. The guy finally found my orders in the system and I went back to waiting. It's now been another 40 minutes. I'm approaching the 90 min mark. I am also fasting which sucks, and I have a meeting in 30 min. So I'll have to leave if they don't get to me soon. Go to Quest, or aaannnnyywhere else. read more

This is the absolute best experience for blood draw. It kind of blew my mind tbh. My veins are really fragile and blood draw usually means enduring at least 5 solid minutes of digging around. Not only was he super nice and helpful, but Josh (I'm pretty sure) is just a master at finding veins. One super quick poke. Painless. No digging. They open at 6:30am with hardly any staff. They have 8 room instead of having 4 rooms on the right for appointments and 4 rooms for walking in so the flow can go smoothly, walking have to wait an hour and wait 10 minutes on the chair to take your lab work. The worst. read more

I came to labcorp in Placentia as my daughter got a false positive on her iron test and needed to get blood drawn. The location is closest to my home and I commuted by bus, I came in around 9 am as a walk in. I am so disheartened and disappointed in the phlebotomist , they had over 3 and it took all three to find one vein . My daughter couldn't complete 3 of her test needed as they stated the couldn't get enough blood instead of telling me that her vein may have popped. Her arm is bruised and as a mother this hurts. I tried advocating for my daughter but ultimately have to come back to finish this test. I wanted to share my experience as I am a first time parent and this breaks my heart , my baby is 15 months and I've brought this trauma into her life. I have such a fear of getting my blood drawn because of these issues. I don't have a car , I came on the bus and now we have to go back. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone. While I understand children aren't easy to work with my daughter was not fighting, yes she was squirming but there is no excuse for her arm to look like this. read more

I usually always go here no issues, today they're under construction so I had to drive to another location. My issue is that they didn't call clients who had appointments, or send an email, or just stop appointments being made through the web portal. Why would you be so careless and waste our time? At least let us know before I drive here and find construction being done, but hey I guess it will be nicer in there the next time I go... This place is also kind of hard to find it's up the stairs in a super small plaza, so make sure you turn in right after the light! The employees are always nice here, and friendly so I'll definitely be back when needed. Check out the fullerton or Anaheim hills location though too, it's nice how close they all are to eachother at least ! read more

My 19 year old son and myself both went to this labcorp over the past week. I had an appointment, checked in, and was called back within 10 minutes while the lobby was full. My 19 year old had an appointment, checked in and waited 1hour. He walked up twice and asked if everything was okay as he had already turned in his paperwork. He was told abruptly to wait until he was called. Both times. So he waited. and waited. and waited. Finally after an hour, he walked up and said he had to leave. Funnily enough the paperwork had been misplaced and he was called back right away. My son can't understand why no one checked the other two times. To the front desk, It's not difficult to be kind and just double check. Look up, make eye contact and let the customer feel valued, like you are actually listening and care. Sometimes everyone makes mistakes. Like misplacing paperwork. By the way, both of our technicians who drew blood were amazing. we loved them. read more

Normally I go to the Sunnycrest location but this one is closer to me so this was my first experience here. At Sunnycrest I usually wait at least half an hour before my name is even called. Walked in for a lab work. I was ready to wait since I did not make any appointment. I was called in after 20-25 minutes, not too bad of a wait. The front desk rep was really nice and patient. Johanna, my phlebotomist, was great. She had light and gentle hands. She asked me which arm is better and I told her I actually don't know since I have fine veins. She asked me to hold out both arms while she checked. I was about to close my eyes and inhale deeply, but was delightfully surprised to see that the needle was already in. Hence, the five stars. The staff here is so rude. Came to get a test done for my job and the way Jordan instructed me was as if he hated his job. The receptionist at the front Jenee was also very rude. I asked if I could use the restroom since my wait was gonna be 20 minutes (ended up being 40 mins) and she replied with an attitude saying "We'll it's a urine test and we need 1/2 a cup". If I had went then I still would've had enough pee to give them so I don't understand the issue. I really should've just peed right in front of her so they could clean it up. If I could give NO stars I would. I was "helped" (if that's what you want to call it) by two oddly enough, very sweaty employees who seemed to hate their job, were all around cold in demeanor, and honestly seemed lifeless. Neither guy cracked a smile, offered any warmth or customer service, and both seemed very bothered they had to do their job. From the paperwork to the prep, it all seemed like we were an inconvenience. They had to take blood from my 3 year old son who was so precious and brave and didn't even move. He just sat their crying, as they attempted to poke him TWO times! I swear they were moving the needle around as if it were a metal detector searching for gold in the sand or something. On top of it, they DIDN'T even find a vein and said we had to return the next day because he was probably dehydrated. This didn't make sense to me, as my child drinks plenty of fluids throughout the day, but nonetheless, I trusted them, prepared my son by having him drink even more fluids and apprehensively returned the next day. They still couldn't find a vein after one poke on each arm and then one on his hand!!! I felt extremely bad for my son and to this day, feel guilty about it. I should have never trusted these people nor brought him back a second time around. I made it up to him with ice cream, a paw patrol stuffy and more, but I still feel bad about it!! I should have trusted my dang instincts after the first dumb attempt they made. On top of it all, they weren't even apologetic or warm or nice to my son or me after the fact. They simply did not care. You would think since he is so little and sweet, it would have softened their hearts, but not at all. They didn't even offer the guy a lollipop or stickers or nothing. Came in for a drug test. Their testing hours are 1pm-430pm. I arrived at 12:45pm. They where "updating" the computer - it just seemed like the person was locked out. In any case we waited for over 45 minutes just for them to help the first person: me in This case. I can understand something coming up. The lack of sense of urgency / good service is the reason for my original one star and now four. The Collector Jason Barrett saved this review. He was actually considerate and kind.
