Every time we come here, we are told they are short-staffed and running behind. While occasional delays are understandable, this seems to be a consistent issue. Patients make appointments because they are sick, have schedules, and need timely care. Having people sit in the same waiting area for 2-4 hours is not only extremely frustrating, but also unsafe, as it increases the risk of spreading germs. What's even more concerning is that appointment times are not respected. If multiple patients are scheduled for the same time (for example, 10:00 AM), they are not seen in any clear or fair order. It feels disorganized and inconsiderate of patients' time. This level of service shows a lack of respect for patients. If staffing is an ongoing issue, there needs to be better scheduling, communication, and accountability. Patients deserve better--especially when they are not feeling well. read more

I like this location. It's very well organized, clean, huge and everyone is friendly. I like being able to wait in my car to check in and go in when it's my turn. Good size waiting room altho there are times when folks are standing around. No creepy feeling here. I've been to some labs where the people who come in look questionable or not someone I would associate with as well as the facility not very clean. This isn't one of them. My only part I don't like is to let a patient walk in taking time off work and be told you are not welcome , call this number that number to get appointments when I am unable to work and be here at same time.THEY GOT to let patients know somehow out in lobby walking not taken rather than come all the way up and be informed. read more

The technician Breana was wonderful! She was very kind and attentive. I took my family member here and she was excellent at drawing my grandma. Other places have a hard time finding her blood but she was excellent. We had an appointment which made the process easy. I did notice if others came without appointment they were having a hard time being brought back. The only problem with this location felt like she was the only technician. I have been going to this location for quite a while now. Until my March 12 visit l, everything went really well. However this visit went bad very fast. Unlike my previous visits, the Phlebotomist took a long time to find my Doctors order. I kept telling her what needed to be done, but she couldn't seem to find it. Finally, she said if I can find an order that has the test you need on, even though it has a lot of tests that were NOT supposed to be done, can I use it. I said yes, just to get it over with. Friday, the Doctors medical assistant called me wondering what the lab had done. There was some kind of partial test result at the top of the results that was NOT ON the order. She also wanted to know why these unnecessary tests were done. I told her about the screw up. EVERY OTHER TIME I HAVE THIS TEST DONE, THERE WERE NO DIFFICULTIES IN FINDING IT. I had a 7:45 a.m. appointment. After arriving and checking in, I informed the receptionist that I had an appointment, yet the check-in computer showed a 45-minute to 2-hour wait. I explained that I had to be at work and that this was a 2-minute blood draw scheduled by appointment, but my concern was dismissed. After waiting 25 minutes, the waiting room had completely cleared out. I went back to the receptionist again, but she dismissed me once more. It wasn't until my assistant called and spoke to her about my appointment that anything changed. By that point, I was tired of waiting and left. I was later asked to return, but when I did, the receptionist walked away from the desk instead of assisting me. This was very poor customer service. With an appointment, this experience was unacceptable. There are many other places to get lab work done, and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere you have choices!! read more

They are very busy here, I am glad that we had an appointment. The supervisor, I believe her name was Sheila (Definitely an S name, sorry if I'm wrong! I did ask, and my brain is deceiving me at the moment, lol) is amazing at what she does! My daughter is usually very afraid and it takes a few people to hold her down to get her bloodwork done...but not this time. I made a 7 AM appointment online and got a reminder email for the following day's appointment. I got there 15 minutes early ( they open at 6:30 AM), scanned my DL ( my insurance info was in the portal already) and sat down. Five minutes later the receptionist asked for my paper work. After giving it to her, I sat back down and in less than 5 minutes they called me in. The blood draw took about 5 minutes. Done, no problems. This was the second time I've been to this location and both times were good experiences. Everyone was nice, answered questions, and were professional. The only downside is I wish it opened at 6 AM. Quest Labs opens at 5:30 so for people who start work early won't be late. read more

Ever since the other Labcorp that I used to visit closed, I changed to this location, which has been a pleasant experience. The staff are very professional and efficient. Also, they are very thoughtful and patient whenever they ask for the arm choice of the blood samples and hand out the urine sample container. The waiting room and the lab room is spotless and sanitized every time the patient leaves. What I love about this place most is that it is not crowded compare to any Labcorp and it feels like it's more organized. Even though it is further than my previous Labcorp from my home, I would pick here anytime. read more

The front desk staff at this location are so rude. They saw me standing there form 10 min to drop off a specimen and completely avoided me. I then ask the guy sitting behind the counter what do I do. He never looks up from his computer and says I'm helping another customer no one was in front of him at the time. I went in without an appointment on a Friday. When I arrived at 6:20, there was a line of 10 people outside waiting for them to open. I figured I would be there for hours. It was less than an hour before they called me back. I was in my car at 7:25 heading home. They were a well-oiled machine that morning. And my phlebotomist was lovely. Pros: 1. Easy in and out for routine lab-work if you know where to go. Con: 1. Smaller location, its tucked in so can get little tricky to find, can get busy as the day progresses. 2. Staff could be friendlier but I understand rhat due to staffing shortages they are being asked to work more. Tip: 1. Check their hours before you go, due to staffing shortages they sometimes move staff to other locations and close this location. 2. Check in the ipad as soon as you get in. They ask you to wait outside if more than 3 peep in the lobby but make sure to check in first. I have seen lots of people unaware they need to checkin on the ipad so they keep on waiting outside. 3. Its located on the first floor, some people gets confused with Quest diagnosis which is also located in the same complex, be sure to look for the suite number and lab name. 4. They open early so make apointment or walk in very early in the morning to avoid crowd. read more

Was waiting in line at 6:15 this morning with my daughter to have her labs done. The phlebotomist came out and yelled that it would be a long time before she got to any of us waiting because she was alone. No worries. Happened to check online and they had two appointments available at 12:30 and later, great, booked the 12:30. Came back at 12:15 checked in, they verified my daughter's appointment name and time. I went outside to wait. My daughter came out and stated they refused to take her. So I went to see what was happening. The same woman from this morning started rudely in saying it's not a correct order, the doctors not in the system, etc. They would have to manually enter his information. She refused to take her. These labs are to test the level of toxicity in my daughters liver and kidneys from the medication she is now showing toxicity from. The doctor wants her labs before he starts her on a new potentially detrimental medication.... So kind of important. The phlebotomist then stated my daughter had no appointment anyway and she would not be able to take her even if she had the order. I had the confirmation email. This woman may have been having a bad day, I don't know? That being said, I've had this encounter with her numerous times before. And it's not just me, she seems to talk and treat everyone this way. I don't have her name, but she has long grey hair and wears glasses. I will never go back to this location. Sad when you can't get basic care to stop a potentially life threatening event. read more

I will never go to another lab again for bloodwork! I came here the other day to get some bloodwork done and I was so impressed. It's a million times neater and cleaner than the location in Placentia and the phlebotomist was top rate. I usually ask to lay down since I can get a little woozy, but I felt so comfortable with the whole experience, I chanced it and sat in the chair...I did fine, who knew? We came in around 10:30 in the morning and there was just one person in the waiting room. I couldn't believe it! I got in right away and we were in and out in like 15 minutes. So the complaints for this location seems to be around the front desk and the check-in process with their kiosk. The people up front basically direct you to this computer kiosk that takes your insurance/patient info. I get it. It's intimidating. But if you follow the directions on the screen (or watch the little video examples on the screen) you should be fine and at least when we were there, the front desk folks tried to be helpful. I hope I won't have to come back soon but if I do, I will absolutely be coming here! read more

I like the easy check in process, and it was easy to schedule an appointment. My lab tech hit my vein on the first shot, so there was no poking around. I heard another person go in before me say she was a "hard stick". She came out quickly and in a good mood, so that's good. Why the three stars then? My lab tech walked into the room and didn't even introduce herself. The first words she said to me were, "Name and birthdate?" In a lackluster way. No other exchanges except to tell me what to do. I know the job must be boring and monotonous, I get it. However, little touches go a very long way to make someone feel at ease and probably increase your own job satisfaction. read more

I came in today and checked in as a walk in through an iPad. i waited 50 mins in the lobby and after they finally called my name, they told me they did not have the lab order and that i should come back Monday. I'm not sure if it's because they are understaffed but i should have not waited that long just for them to tell me to go home. i really feel like i wasted my time by coming here. There's no one in the front most of the time, except for when someone randomly shows up and then leaves again, you hear the workers laughing and talking in the back. I was not taken back till 7:30 and it was not until I enquired about having an appointment. This place was understaffed there was only one lady doing everything. Hopefully I will have better luck at another location that honors making an appointment in advance. The two staff memebers behind the counter are rude and unprofessional. As an example, my husband was waiting on my behalf while I was next door getting another order filled. They called my name and my husband told them I would be right there. When I arrived, I told her my name and also asked about my daughter, who was also waiting with us to be seen. She looked up at me and said " I have no clue what you're taking about". Then giggled and looked away. The other staff member is equally rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately I will have to give this Labcorp location 1star. It was downstairs from my doctors office. On 1/09/2020 arrived there around 12:15 pm check in at the kiosk with their help, they did the blood draw and gave them a specimen. That part 5 stars. I did not receive a call from my infectious disease Dr on Friday about the specimen results. So I looked on thE Labcorp's website. My test results were not showing pending or even showing up at all. Today Sunday it is just as I did not go and have the test taken. Dr needed the specimen results to prescribe the antibiotics. UPDATE The lab test showed up today 1/13/2020 as results pending being taken 1/9/2020 and results being sent to my doctor. Medical labs should not work this way. Update. New policy with Labcorps update: With the update that are taking place it will no longer show pending on your portal. The labs are faxed to the ordering physician once they are completed, unless the physician calls and request a preliminary report. read more

Every single time I've been here she's had a dismissive/bad attitude. Every interaction I've seen her have with another patient is exactly the same. Had routine blood work at the Anaheim Hills location. Something has changed at this location and I hope it sticks. The lady at the front desk (long dark hair) was very kind. She helped an older lady in front of me that was struggling with the signing in on the little machine. In the past there have been employees at this location that were beyond rude and very unkind. This lady was a refreshing change. I hope she stays. I'm sorry I did not get her name. My blood was drawn by another very kind person, Nemo, he was excellent and I hope he too stays at this location. Came to this Labcorp because they do the Glucose testing for pregnancy. Was dreading the test but Raj was super sweet and was super careful with the blood draw. (I hate needles) Barely felt the poke of the needle and it had to be done three times in two hours. Front desk was super nice too. Great parking and felt safe during this pandemic. The front office was very rude. I don't recommend anyone visiting this office. I was there 30 mins early and they didn't allow me to draw work. My doctor sent them the order and I showed a copy on my phone but that was not good enough. I was able to register my name and my insurance so they can doing billing but since they did not receive in any order from my doctor even though I had a copy on my phone it was not good enough. Save yourself sometime and use professional service at a different lab with people who care about other humans drawing.
