The new world of lab testing centers not an issue for people accustomed to computers but people like my 80 year old mother had difficulties checking in, so she had to call me to come aid her with the checkin process. As there is no front office to assist or a bell to ring for those with questions. Regarding the quality of care the phlebotomy technicians are nice but clients have to wait outside hoping a technician comes out from behind a secured locked door.

    Next to subway

Happy with the process. Made an appointment online 2 days prior, there were enough time slots available. Even more for future dates. Check in at kiosk, and wait was less than 5 minutes. Had 6 vials drawn by lab tech Phuong, and she did an amazing job. One attempt, no bruising. New location, right next to subway. Tucked in the corner behind Wells Fargo

This place was only taking 1 person back at a time for hours. Ridiculous.

She is truly one of the sweetest, kindest, and most patient human beings I have ever met. I've always been afraid of needles, but somehow Claire has a way of making something I dread feel calm, comfortable, and even enjoyable. Her gentle nature, warm smile, and genuine compassion immediately put me at ease. She doesn't just draw blood--she cares for people. Healthcare can be intimidating, but Claire reminds you that kindness is one of the best forms of medicine. She treats every patient with respect, empathy, and such a positive attitude that you leave feeling better than when you walked in. Thank you, Claire, for the incredible work you do every single day. You make people's lives better in ways you probably don't even realize. Your compassion brings comfort during vulnerable moments, and people like you are the reason so many of us feel safe. The techs have consistently been friendly, cool, and professional, and check-in is super easy whether through the app or the self-service kiosk. Their waiting area is not bad, it's clean and bright but it does get uber busy at times - so I hope you have an appointment. My personal take - I've learned with ANY lab (Labcorp, Quest, etc.), making an appointment well ahead of time is the real MVP, fortunately, I have not experienced them f'ing up my appointment but it seems they do with some patients. Maybe approach someone in the front desk and kindly bring this up to their attention? It can save you and others from unnecessary frustration, long waits, and the urge to dramatically rethink your entire life in the waiting room LOL. On occasions that you unfortunately you got a same day rush lab order - walking in can be traumatic but miracles do happen like when I walked in at 2:45 PM one time with literally 3-4 people in there or check the app and drive miles away for a location with an availability... or be like Job... we can all practice a bit of patience in a world where everything is in a rush. Cheers!

I've been to this Labcorp location twice now and although I don't enjoy getting my blood drawn, I no longer have a sense of complete dread because both of the phlebotomists here are VERY good at what they do! As a patient, I believed I was booking the correct service. Because of this, I spent money on Uber, lost time, and had to return the next day. I also don't understand why I couldn't be accommodated when I was already there before 3:00 p.m. and a urine drug screen is a relatively quick test. Even if it wasn't possible, I would appreciate clearer scheduling instructions so other patients don't experience the same issue. I was talking with Lily but even then i had asked her to squeeze me in at 2:55pm, she said they're not able to and i have to come back for a courtesy appointment the next day. I'm extremely upset with this situation. I've been going twice in the same clinic achieving nothing overall!

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

The front desk staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, and my attempts to seek clarification or assistance were not addressed. One receptionist, in particular, spoke to patients in a disrespectful manner. The waiting room was overcrowded, and there did not appear to be an appropriate sense of urgency in assisting patients. Not sure if it'll happen as I already have the standing appointment. The self service kiosk is easy to use, there are four machines near the entrance. Plenty of parking spaces here at the medical plaza. There's a constant arrival of patients, so not likely to be seen earlier than the appointment time. I have no idea when walk-ins would be seen as appointments have priority. I don't recommend trying to get here any earlier than ten minutes. The restrooms are clean, however, there's no wall mounted soap dispenser. That's such a big miss! Super silly having that gallon sized pump hand soap on the cabinet away from the sink. The hand dryer works well, there are no paper towels. This one is weird too, I was given a small plastic double Dixie cup with lid instead of the medical grade plastic urine collection cup. Hmm... Not sure if that was because I had to go before she had a jar ready and labeled. My phlebotomist was professional, yes. But she wasn't as good as the other one I had previously. All I care about is that they're able to collect the blood sample on the first insertion of the needle. Don't miss! Haha.

What's even more concerning is that appointment times are not respected. If multiple patients are scheduled for the same time (for example, 10:00 AM), they are not seen in any clear or fair order. It feels disorganized and inconsiderate of patients' time. This level of service shows a lack of respect for patients. When I called back, the office was closed, so I had no way of knowing that my appointment had been canceled. This is very concerning. If you're going to cancel a patient's appointment, please leave a voicemail or send a text message. Patients shouldn't have to guess why they're being called, especially when they're fasting and driving to an early morning appointment. When I shared my concerns with the front desk, I expected some understanding. Instead, I was told that "most people prefer phone calls." That completely misses the point. My issue wasn't that they called. It was that no one spoke, no voicemail was left, and no text was sent. Even if I were in the minority, basic communication is still important.
